Hidden Message

Create a player with the name "Wayne Gretzky" and number "99". Then for the photo where it usaully says "phot not available" it will now say "Thanks for the memories" for the players photo.

Get Chris Mason Pic

When creating a goalie, enter the goalie's name to be Chris Mason.  The pic will then appear.

Get Paul Healey pic

When creating a player, enter the name a Paul Healey.  Then his pic will appear.

Get Rory Fitzpatrick pic

When creating a player, enter the name a Rory Fitzpatrick.  Then his pic will appear.
Get John Namestnickov pic

When creating a player, enter the name a John Namestnickov.  Then his pic will appear.

Get Brent Peterson pic

When creating a player, enter the name as Brent Peterson.  Then his pic will appear.
Get Eric Bertrand pic

When creating a player, enter the name as Eric Bertrand.  Then his pic will appear.

Easy Way to Score Goals

While playing go to choose sides. Now switch sides and pull the other teams goalie. Now you have 1 clear chance to score a goal. Once you score the goalie will come back out. You can do this as many tim es as you want.

More easy goals

To score an easy goal get a 2 on 0. Have one player pass the puck to the other before your to close to the crease. Do not shoot the puck but hold it long enough so that the goalie thinks your going to shoot and he slides on his knees. Once he does this pass the puck to the first player and shoot high and far post.It takes practice but once you get it down there's no stoping you.

Win Almost Every Face-Off

During the faceoff before the ref drops the puck hold A so the highlight thing under the player goes to the goalie and the computer takes the fac-off and it wins almost every time.

No Penalty When Fighting

When the fight starts press A 3 times and the other opponent will get a 2 minute penalty and you won't get anything.

Picture Of Bobby Hull

Got to create player and make a player named Bobby Hull and when you see their picture when you score or get an assist you see a picture of the retired Bobby Hull.

Get Programmer's Team

Press and hold L + R and press B, B, X on the D controller

Programmer Pics

Look in the manual for names of the development team and eneter them as player names. Their pic will appear in the edit lines menu

Big Head Mode

On controller D press and hold L + R then press B, A, B, Y. Do this at the Black Box logo

Win every Face-Off every time

You can win every face-off if u listen to me:
when u r taking the face off, keep your eyes on the ref, he will look at both of the centers, then drop the puck. right after he looks at both of the centers press 'A'
it will work every time!

Real Easy Goals

This is the easiest way that i've found to score goals. All you have to do is skate in on the goalie, wind-up, and release the shot right in front of the crease. The puck should go in right between the legs;the goalie won't even flinch.
