Cheat Unlocked

(note: you must have a VMU for this cheat)First you have to beat the game.
"Then it will say congrats..... your VMU will be your guide" After it says that, click on NEXT and a maze will appear, complete it and on the (TV) screen it will say, "cheat unlocked".That's it.
(as I've seen so far)Apparently with the code, you can't fall off the stages, when you fall, you will go really fast into a kinda tunnel and return to the game with out losing a life.

Vmu Hints, Codes, and more

Successfully complete the game on any difficulty setting to unlock a maze mini-game on the VMU. Successfully complete the maze-mini game to unlock a cheat on the cheat menu. To access the cheat menu, pause the game and choose the "Settings" selection, then scroll down past the "Internet" selection and choose the "Cheats" selection. Depending on what difficulty the game was completed on will depend on what cheat was unlocked. Complete the game on different difficulty settings to unlock different cheats.
Note: The following codes require a Dreamcast Keyboard. While playing a game, press ~ to display the console screen. Then, enter one of the following commands to activate the corresponding result:

Start with armor

Put the game on the "I can win" difficulty setting. Beat the game and finish the maze with your v.m.u. and you will get the cheat.

How to beat Xero

Xero is the last man that you have to kill on QUAKE III ARENA. He always uses the rail gun and is a damn good shot with it also. When you start getting onto the harder tiers like say for example "tier 3" HURT ME and "tier 4" HARDCORE, it is useless to try and fight him head to head. Instead, go to where the rocket launcher is on that level, and look out down the middle ramp. Directly opposite you, you should see Xero going for the railgun (he always uses that gun and that is where his supply of ammo is) Directly below that, at the other side of te middle ramp, there should be an underground bit. Blast away there with the launcher and you will kill him. Then put your crosshair on the railgun above and wait for him to get it then blast him away again. WARNING: watch out because sometimes he gets the health from the platforms on either side of you, then he will sneak up behind you, watch this as one hit with the rail gun will dice you into pieces.

Cheats
The following codes require a Dreamcast Keyboard. While playing a game, press ~ to display the console screen. Then type in ;raster 1 followed by ;cl_cheats. Now the codes will work
;god - god mode
;noclip - fly
After typing ;raster 1 press any key followed by the (tab) key this will desplay all console variables beggining with this letter.
