  • An Extensive look at Items and Weapons (Coming Soon)
  • Character Bios
  • And much more...

Cheat: Copy Items
Here is a way to copy items/characters. All you need are 2 Final Fatasy Tactics Adavance cartridges, 2 GBA/SP units, and 1 connecting cable.

First, make sure that both of the games have at least 5000 gill so you may make trades with them.

Next, save Final Fantasy Tactics Advance data on both save slots on the cartridges.

Then, trade the item/character you want duplicated from the second save slot of the first cartridge to the second GBA/SP.

Finally, trade the copied item/character from the second cartridge to the first save slot of the first cartridge. Now that slot will have two copies of the item/character.
Unlockable: Semi-Secret Characters
Semi-secret characters become available by completing a mission with different mission items. The secret characters might join your after the battle.
  • Cheney: Complete a mission with Snake Shield as a mission item.
  • Eldena: Complete a mission with Elda's Cup as a mission item.
  • Lini: Complete a mission with The Hero Gaol as a mission items.
  • Littlevili: Complete the "Clan League" mission.
  • Pallanza: Complete a mission with Wyrmstone as a mission item.
Unlockable: Expert Missions
To unlock Expert Missions, beat the game once and save. When you start again, you will have a star next to your name.
Unlockable: Secret Characters
Beat the game once and fulfill the following conditions, and the secret characters will offer to join you if you have space:
  • Shara - Clear "A Maiden's Cry" and enter a town.
  • Ritz - Clear "Mortal Snow".
  • Ezel - Choose "Gossip" at his shop, and then clear "Reconciliation".
  • Babus - Clear "Left Behind" and enter a town to enter "With Babus" mission. Clear it to get Babus.
  • Cid - Clear all 300 numbered missions. (Top secret missions do not count.)
Hint: Leveling Up Moogles

If you're interested in getting two high level Moogles early in the game (or any time), make two of them become Jugglers of equal levels. Also, make sure they both know the move "Smile" before going into battle with them. When it comes to their turns in battle, use Smile on the other Moogle Juggler, giving it the next turn. Then, go back and forth over and over again with this, as each turn it will net them 10 experience points. Enemies will never get a turn until you decide not to use Smile. This proves to be a great way to level up.

Hint: Get Lots of Experience Points Early On
During Mission One, send all of your party members except Marche to the right to defeat the short enemies. Send Marche forward so he is in front of the sprite (the fairy-like creature). The sprite will do about 5 damage to Marche every turn. Marche can heal himself 7 points each turn, and he gets 10 EXP each time he does it. Keep having Marche heal himself over and over, and this way you can get him to a high level very early in the game. You can also have your other characters attack Marche, and they will gain a lot of EXP because Marche is at a much higher level than they are.
Hint: Become Harder to Kill
If you want to become harder to kill, master Damage>MP, change to a job that doesn't need MP, and master Double Sword (humans only).
Hint: Getting Ribbons
Put 4 different towns around in a circle, so that they will surround a blank space in the middle. Then, put a Jagd in the middle. The treasure hunt at the Jagd will result in a Ribbon. (Ribbons can only be worn by Viera. They nullify ALL status ailments, including Doom.)
Hint: More Effective Treasure Hunts
The most effective Treasure Hunts are performed like this:
  • Best: Two of the same type of symbols (e.g. two forests) at the top of the circle and two of the same type of symbols (e.g. two mountains) placed on the bottom part of the circle on the world map, with another symbol in the middle (as the final symbol placed).
  • 2nd Best: Four symbols in a circle with another placed in the middle (as the final symbol placed).
  • 3rd best: Three symbols in a circle with another placed in the middle (as the final symbol placed)
    Hint: Quick Reset
To reset while in the game, press A+B+START+SELECT.
    Hint: Hunter's Ultima Weapon
During the mission "over the hill" when you fight against Ritz and her clan, use a thief with the steal weapon ability to steal Shara's weapon, called SeventhHeaven. Equip it to a Hunter and it will learn Ultima Shot
    Hint: Character Job Conditions
To gain new jobs you must master a certain number of Abilites from a starting job (e.g. to become a Paladin that character must master 2 Solider abilites).

    Human:
    Solider: Starting Job

    Gunner: Animist Abl. x1
    Mog Knight: Animist Abl. x1
    Juggler: Thief Abl. x2
    Gadgeteer Abl. x2
    Hint: Extra Experience
If you ever run into a gel-type creature called a flan and need a little exp, here is a tip. First kill off every other enemy on the field, and then surround the flan with your people. Use regular attacks on it, which will only do 1 damage, and if the enemy is of sufficient level, you'll gain a few levels while slowly killing it.
    Hint: Blue Mage/Beastmaster
Have you ever had trouble with getting your Blue Mages to learn healing monster abilities, or any ability at all? Nu Mou starts out with a job called Beastmaster, which allows the user to control certain creatures. This way, you can have the chosen monster use the ability on your Blue Mage. This only works with some abilities and make sure that when you want to learn the abilities, you have the Blue Mage Support ability “learning” taught by the weapon Blue Saber equipped; otherwise you'll just get hurt. When trying to learn the ability “Roulette” taught by Floateyes and Ahrimans, have the Angel Ring or some other form of Auto-Life on; the only way to get Blue Mage abilities is by staying awake and alive!
    Hint: Recruit Quin
To get Quin to join your clan, complete the "Missing Professor" mission. After the battle, Quin may ask to join your clan. Be sure you have room in your clan for Quin or you will miss the opportunity.
Hint - Magic Point No-Damage Combo
You can buy a certain armor at the shops, which allows you to teach either a gadgeteer, a morpher or a ninja the reactive ability MP damage.

This lets that character to convert all damage done to it into MP damage. The only problem is when the MP is zero, the effects of this ability wear off, and damage starts decreasing HP.

However, there is an item called "Magic Ring" (you must have at least one of those, since you start the game with it) that can aid this armor.

This ring allows the chatacter who wears it to gain 5 MP every time the wearer comes up in a turn of battle. Thus your magic armor wearer has to be hit at least twice a turn in order to be damaged.

    Hint: Experience Mania

Healing abilities can be used when characters already have full health. If a unit uses a Potion on itself it gains 10 experience points. Stock up on Potions and then enter a battle. Kill all enemies except for a weak unit (like a White Mage) and then drink Potions until the desired level is reached. This leveling strategy also works with any non-offensive abilities such as "Defense", "Protect", "Shell", "Conceal", "Cure" and "First Aid".

    Hint: Quick Thief Experience

Have whichever character you want to level-up change into the Thief class. Also, make sure they have the skill "Steal Exp." Thereafter, go into battle (preferably a clan battle) and leave one single enemy left on the battlefield. Stand by the enemy, letting him hit you, while the rest of your team passes their turns. As the enemy hits you, that enemy will gain experience. Let them gather some experience, then use your skill to steal it. You'll gain a random amount each time, but the higher the level of the enemy, the more you should get.

    Hint: Thief Experience

Here's a really easy way to get experience. Make the character you want to level up a Thief, and make sure he or she learns the skill Steel EXP as soon as you can. Couple your Thief in battle with a character who knows Slow or Stop. Allow an enemy to engage you and attack you, and then have the other character cast Slow or (preferably) Stop on the character. Then, steal experience!

    Item duplication
You can only do this with a friend/2 gameboys. The person sending the item(i.e. Ninja Tabi) must save on his/her second file or in a battle. If you saved in a battle, DO NOT load it. Load the previous save game and link with your buddy. Have your pal send over a worthless item and you send the duplicating item. When you recieve the worthless item, shut off your GBA and turn it back on. Select "Resume Battle" and either win or flee the fight(you cannot flee in a Jagd). You check your inventory after and you notice the item is still there. Have the friend check his inventory. If they own the item traded over, you executed the code correctly. Use it to obtain 2 Masamune100's, Excalibur2, etc.

Getting a Bangaa or Human easy

he has got some skills ( demi , explode ....)but can not learn anything else

    Get Ritz
To get Ritz you have to beat the game and beat a misson called mortal snow.Do it It's good.

    Easy class change for moogles/humans
Warning you have to have Cinquedea.

Step 1)choose a moogle/human and change his class to thief.
    Step 2)Equip him with Cinquedea.
Step 3)Now in every fight start using his Steal:ability skill on every enemy, and before you know it you can change him intu any class u want to.

    Unlimited Judge points
To get unlimited judge points (JP), you have to be in a fight when Cid is the judge. Kill all but one enemy and disable the one left over. Keep on using multiple attack abilities and you will recieve unlimited judge points

    Expert missions
Upon completion of the game, wait for the credits to finish rolling. A screen will follow, stating that it is saving a game completion file over the most recently saved game. When you load the game, your file will have a star, marking that you have completed that file. When you accept missions at the pub now, the bartenders will offer the expert missions that they had been holding back.

    Bonus missions
After clearing story mode and getting the star next to your save file, continue to complete all 300 missions. After you clear these missions, go to Bervenia Palace to see an intermission sequence with Judgemaster Cid. Afterwards, there will be a new mission at the pub. Clear the mission to have him join. With Cid on your team, about another ten missions will be unlocked with their own story. When you complete all the missions, there is another ending, and the credits roll. Nothing is gained from this except the many special clips and some fun and sometimes difficult missions.

    Changing the missions
Once you see missions that you do not want to do, move around for a month (until it goes to Sagemoon, Madmoon, etc.). When its the next month, the missions will change when you go to the bar.

    Ending credits
Win all 300 standard missions and the bonus Judgemaster Cid missions.

    In game reset
    Press [A] + [B] + [Star + [Selec during game play.

    Movement range
Press [B] on your opponent or any other character on the field to see where they are able to move (blue squares).

    Easy Exodus fight:
For an easy Exodus fight, equip Marche with a Blaze robe or a flame shield. Both of these will Nullify Babus' "Explode" and attacks from his fire-enhanced Lotus Mace. Therefore this leaves him only able to hurt you by using "Demi" which halves your Hp, so it can't kill you!

    Double AP
Get one of your clan as a ninja ASAP, then get the double weapon ability. You can now learn two abilities at once, or if you get two of the same weapons you can learn it twice as fast!

    Easy Level Up-White Maget
To easily level up a white mage move your white mage next to two or more party members and use cure and u will gain anywhere from 12 to 24 EXP.This will really help your white mages.

    Excalibur 2
First you need the mission items "Rusty Sword" and "Mysidia Alloy". Beat the game and clear "Carrot", and "Den of Evil". The mission "The Hero Blade" will appear at the pub, clear it and you'll get the Excalibur 2. It has an attack of 87, a boost of magic power by 3, an evade of 5, and a speed bonus of 4. However, it does not absorb Holy spells like the original Excalibur.

    Fast Leveling Up!
There are a couple of ways to do this. The easiest is defeat all but one enemy. Disable it then have your weaker members attack your stronger members. Experience will rack up. Make sure you have heal to get the most out of the session.

Another way is when fighting a team much stronger than you, kill all but the strongest target. Surround the enemy and keep attacking it. Don't forget to heal everyone including the enemy to get the most bang for your buck.

In the late stages of the game after you reach level 29+ its tougher since not many enemies are stronger than you.

    Faster wins in engagments
First what you want to do is kill off your opponents white mage, if they have one, the their distance attackers, such as archers, snipers, hunters and gunners. It should be a sinch after that.

    Bonus intermission sequences
There are a few intermission sequences that appear after the game is completed, when you do extra missions. For example, one shows Ritz talking to you, Shara, and Babus; and after you do the missions it lets them join your team (although Ritz, Shara, and Babus are a lot weaker than when you had to fight them.

    Double Swords
If a human learns Double Swords then equips two of the same weapon to learn a skill, they will learn it twice as fast. They will gain AP for each weapon.

    Completing dispatch missions
When selecting a character to send out on a dispatch mission, watch the characters actions carefully. If they sit down or just walk, do not pick them. However, if they jump up and down, select them. You will successfully complete the mission. Note: Watch out for Moogles, as they tend not to be able to complete the missions.

    Make other clan members talk
When you place your characters at the beginning of a fight where Marche would talk (any mission, but no encounters with other clan/groups), do not place Marche at all; or both Marche and Montblanc (if you do not want Montblanc or Marche to talk, because Montblanc will talk no matter what if placed at all, just like Marche). At the beginning of the fight, the character you placed first will talk and say something different than Marche would say; even Bangaas talk with the doubles.

    Equipping abilities
At one job you learn certain abilities for that job, such as Marche as a soldier learning First Aid, Provoke, Speedbreak, etc. Then at another job, such as Marche as a Fighter learning the Fighter abilities, you can still use his Soldier abilities. This is the same for all the other characters such as Montblanc. Montblanc starts out as a Black Mage, and you can change his job. For example, if you change his job to Time Mage, you can still use his Black Mage abilities while also learning and using Time Mage abilities.

    Stop moving on the map
When you are moving a long way on the map screen and want to stop somewhere before your destination, press [B]. You will stop at the next place on the map. For example, from Cyril to Ozmonfeild, when you press [B] you will go to the next town or place before your destination.

    Predicting Dispatch missions
When you are selecting a unit to send on a Dispatch mission, the way they move will tell you a bit about how well they might do on it. A unit that starts jumping up and down will have an easy time with it; a unit that goes into a walk animation may or may not succeed; and a unit that goes into a crouch (low HP stance) will probably fail.

    Get Ezel
This is a faster way to get Ezel Berbier. You don't have to beat the game; after you finish fighting Rizt and her clan, go to Ezel's shop and chose gossip. He'll put up a mission at the pub(you have to find some amber), clear it. Then go back and talk to him, he'll put up the " reconciliation mission", clear it and you'll get Ezel. He had no offensive magic, just Ascaroth, astra, block arrows, weapon def atk(may differ).

    Have Cid join your party
Complete all 300 numbered missions and Cid will join your party.

    Level tip
This method will help you to level up faster on earlier games, at first you need to buy 99 potion or hi-potions.
Then when you enter a battle, use potion everytime when you have nothing to do in your turn, this will prevent you from damaging yourself and you'll get 10~18 Exp. points everytime you used potion.
This means you'll gain more Experience points than using magic or attacking actions.
Also, set all of your clans to counter mode, you'll counter your opponent's attack and you'll get experience points also.

    Masamune100
This is the Ninja & Assassin's strongest weapon. You can get it through the mission, " The Fey Blade". This katana possesses the power of dark. You'll need a Zodiac ore and a bent blade.

Move As Far As You Want!
You can move as far as you want to! Just get two jesters (moogle only) and have them both learn the smile ability. Have one of them move, and use smile on the other jester. Move him and repeat the process. Very nice! Especially when you have four of them, you can surround a guy and do mass combo damage!

    Sniper Level-Up
If your Sniper has mastered conceal and it is very hard to gain EXP, try this. While every one else on your clan is battling use conceal and get around 10 EXP each time! It really adds up.

    Judge Missions Side-Quest
To be able to do the judge missions, you must beat all 300 standard missions and head over to Bervenia Palace to see a quick scene and start the judge missions.

    Infinate Money/Ribbons
After you complete the game and get Shara, take her ribbon, then get rid of her, and when you get her back she will have the ribbon equiped again. Sell for 20000, then reapeat. this way you can get as many ribbons, money, and seventh-heavens you want.

    Easy infinite Angel Rings
    1. Accept the mission 'Lutia Mop-up'2. One of the enemies will have an Angel Ring. Steal it.3. Retreat from the battle. You will still have the Angel Ring you stole, but the mission can still be taken, and another Angel Ring can be stolen.4. Accept the mission when it pops up again, and repeat.
