Ring List

Count on Nintendo to save the best for last. Their Legend of Zelda: Oracle games were the finest examples of Game Boy Color splendour yet, and they came out in the twilight of the GBC's tenure. Not only are they the best games ever for the GBC, they are also the hardest.

Luckily, Guides dynamo Rex Tremende is on the scene. When he wasn't polishing his Benz, drinking champagne with models and attending big Hollywood premieres, Mr. Tremende was hunkered down over the warm glow of the Gameboy, detailing every last corner of Oracle of Seasons.

He's compiled the most complete guide on the web, even though it took almost a year. Find the most maniacally extensive walkthrough, full Rings list, linking tips and item descriptions out there.

Cheat: Hero Adventure
When you pick a new game enter: NNNNN NNNNN NNNNN NNNNN. You will start with the Victory Ring and a very odd name.
Secret 100 Rupee Advance Shop
Mystery Seed Secret
Near Talon's house, you will come across a pack of hapless Cuccos. Hit one of them with your sword. As it retaliates, drop a Mystery Seed on it and it will grow to Godzilla proportions. That's a lot of McNuggets.
Trading Items
Trading Items provide another quest for Link. You don't have to participate, but if you do, you'll reap a powerful Sword upgrade which will make the rest of the game much easier. Although you can trade items as you go along, I suggest doing it all at once.

1. Cuccodex
Get this from Dr. Left after you light his torch for him.

2. Lon Lon Egg
Give the Cuccodex to Malon on the north end of Horon Village. She'll give you the Lon Lon Egg.

3. Ghastly Doll
Run into Maple with the Egg in your possession and she'll give you the Ghastly Doll.

4. Iron Pot
Take the Ghastly Doll to the mayor's wife Mrs. Ruul. She will give you an Iron Pot.

5. Lava Soup
Go into the Chef's Kitchen in Subrosia. Give him the Iron Pot and he'll give you Lava Soup.

6. Goron Vase
Give the Lava Soup to the giant Goron atop Goron Mountain in order to get the Goron Vase.

7. Fish
Go to Sunken City and find Ingo's house. Show him the Goron Vase and he'll zonk you a Fish.

8. Megaphone
Take the Fish to the area near Eyeglass Lake. Here, you'll meet an old man trying to get his cat out of the tree. Use the Fish to get the cat down and the man will give you a Megaphone.

9. Mushroom
Go to Mount Cucco and change the season to spring, then use the flower to get up to the high ledge. Go into the cave entrance and wake the sleeping guy inside with your Megaphone. This is Talon. He'll give you a Mushroom.

10. Wooden Bird
Visit Syrup. She'll see the Mushroom and complete her Potion. For your help, she'll hook you up with a Wooden Bird.

11. Engine Grease
Go back to Horon Village and go to the clock shop. Give the Wooden Bird to the clockmaker, and he'll give you the Engine Grease.

12. Phonograph
Take the Engine Grease to the Windmill. Go to the top of the mill and talk to the man here. He'll take your Grease and give you a Phonograph. Great trade!

Final Item
Once you have the Phonograph, go through the Tarm Ruins to the Lost Woods. Play the Phonograph for the music-loving Deku Scrub and he'll give you instructions on how to get the Noble Sword. Move to the stump to the left and change the season to Winter. Head west in the Winter, west in the Autumn, west in the Spring and west in the Summer. You'll end up at a secret location, where you'll receive the Noble Sword.

Get a Bigger Bomb Bag
In Subrosia, right after you've traded the Star Shaped Ore for the Ribbon in the Market, exit the building and return. A Bigger Bomb Bag will now be in its place. The Market owner will trade you for 10 Bombs and 50 Ore Chunks. Now your Bomb sack will hold 30 Bombs.
Get More Seeds
To get more Gasha Seeds, keep participating in the Subrosian Dance Competition any time you return to this land. If you are succesful, you'll get a Seed. Now go farm!
Get a Bunch of Rings
In the Subrosian Market, you can keep buying Rings with Ore Chunks by leaving and returning. You can get about four or five Rings this way. They keep increasing in price, but Ore is plentiful here. And when the Rings run out, there are Silver Seeds in their place.
Gasha Seed in Mayor's House
Go to the Mayor's House in Horon Village. On the far right wall is a cracked place. Place a Bomb next to it to open a passage, then head inside to get a Gasha Seed.
More Hidden Rupees
Once you get the Power of Autumn, head to the south end of town and use the stump here to change the season to Fall. Then head all the way to the left, slashing the plants and moving the mushrooms to get into the chest here. It contains 30 Rupees.
Hidden Rupees in the Biologist's House
Once you get Bombs, go to the Biologist's House and use a Bomb on the cracked wall to the right. This will blast a hole in the wall, leading to a chest across a frozen swamp. Inside is a 20 Rupee piece.
Bigger Seed Satchel
Once you get the Member's Card from the Subrosian Market, take it to the Horon Village Shop to gain access to the secret member's area behind the shopkeeper. There you'll be able to buy a bigger Satchel.
Hidden Gasha Seed
Once you get the Power of Autumn, change the season to Autumn and go back to Eyeglass Island. You'll now be able to get over to the chest there and claim a rare Gasha Seed.
Hidden Ring
Once the Pirate Ship lands, you'll have an opportunity to get an easily overlooked Ring. Get off the ship to the left and move up and around the ship's bow to the beach. Follow the beach to the right until you find a Ring in a chest.
Boss Fight Tip: Manhandla
Manhandla is pretty tough to beat. Sure, he's just a plant, but he's got four heads and take a while to drop. Each of the four heads is repeatedly spitting fireballs at you, so¿you'll have to move around quite a bit in¿order to stay alive. To take on Manhandla, you'll need your Feather and Magical Boomerang equipped. The Feather is to jump over the fireballs as you race around the arena. The Boomerang is to get at each of Manhandla's four venus-fly trap style noggins. You can only hurt them when their mouths are open, and often that means you'll have to nail the ones on the opposite side from where you are standing. The easiest way to do this is to stay near the bottom of the room, throwing you 'Rang directly up, next to the boss. When the Boomerang is at its furthest point, step under Manhandla, and the Boomerang will come back to you through his body, injuring him in the process.

The most important thing to keep in mind is to stay on the move. Don't worry about attacking... that will eventually take care of itself, as long as you keep sending your Boomerang out. When you've toppled all four of the plant's heads, he will turn into stem form only. When this happens, hit him repeatedly with your Boomerang at close range.

Eventually, he will shrivel, exposing a central heart. Use your Wooden Sword to destroy that and win the battle. One swing will do.

Boss Fight Tip: Dodongo
This dinosaur can be tricky, but the advice from the owl should help. He's got two attacks, either he'll open his mouth and shoot fireballs at you, or he'll duck and charge. Whenever he opens his craw, chuck a¿Bomb inside.

He'll balloon up and look all gassy. When he does, lift him with the Bracelet and toss him on the bed of spikes.

If you run out of Bombs, hack at the plants at the four corners of the room to get more. Just keep repeating the process. Four spike-trips will send Dodongo to his grave.

Boss Fight Tip: Mothula
The room you fight this battle in has a rectangle of pit. If you mess up and fall in, you'll be knocked into the room below. If this happens, you'll need to get back upstairs via a trampoline.¿Place it anywhere besides the colored tiles to get back up to the fight.

Mothula will zip around the central platforms, scattering baby moths and fireballs as she goes. You'll want to get to the center and stay there. When Mothula sprays fireballs, hop over them with the Feather. The baby moths can be taken down with a swat from your Sword. When Mothula flies near you, whale on her with your weapon. It will take three or four quality barrages to take her down.

Boss Fight Tip: Digdogger
As you might expect, Digdogger will be thwarted by the Magnetic Gloves. There is a spiked ball in the upper right corner of¿the room, that can be used to attack him. Digdogger's only means of counterattack is to bop around the room and try to¿jump on top of you and squash you.

Use the Gloves to drag the spiked ball back and forth, pushing or pulling it into him when he lands. If you can get him in the center of the arena and pull the ball behind him, you will hit him once. Then push it into him and pull it through him once more. You'll only need to hit him once more to go to phase two of this fight.

When you hit Digdogger a bunch, he'll separate into five parts. These guys are much faster than the big one, but they can be killed the same way. Try to get them all in one go, or Digdogger will recombine and you'll have to repeat the whole process. Hoewever, each time he separates, there will only be those parts that you haven't yet destroyed. Take them down with the Magnet ball attack.

Boss Fight Tip: Aquamentus
Aquamentus is a huge, green dragon with a single horn. He has two attacks. A charge attack and a fireball attack. The fireballs spread out so you can easily dodge them, as long as you're not right on top of the boss when he shoots them.

Aquamentus' second attack is a charge. When he is about to do this, he'll lower his head. This attack can be blocked by a Shield, but you are wiser to avoid it all together by maintaining your distance and stepping out of the way.

The way to take down Aquamentus is to get up close to him and nail him in the horn with your Sword. Once you get close, whack him as many times as possible before he goes on the counterattack. Twenty hits or so should bring him down.

Boss Fight Tip: Gohma
Gohma is a big, bad crab/spider thing that will give you fits if you don't approach the fight with caution. Not only is this thing fast and can damage you just by running into you, but it has a massive claw on the left side of its body that will grab you if you get too close.

When you first enter the room, avoid the shadow that zips all over the floor. You'll be at a severe disadvantage if you let Gohma drop on you from the get go. Then, wait for it to move vertically . If it has its eye open, it can see you... so don't get too close, or it will spring and crush you in its claw. That does a¿good deal of damage, so avoid it at all costs. When the eye closes, move in and whack at the claw. Make sure you keep an eye on the eye. If it opens, get back! After you've hit ¿it awhile, the claw will fall off and he'll resort to chucking its young at you.

When this happens, fall back to a corner and swing wildly with the Sword. When the larvae go down temporarily, equip your Seed Shooter and get under the crab. As it passes over you, shoot some seeds at its belly--but only when its eyes are open. It may take a while, but eventually the crab will go down.

Mini-Boss Fight Tip: Facade
It's all a facade! This mini-boss is nothing more than a face, but he knows how to defend himself. He has three ways of doing so. Firstly, he will send out an army of spiders to nibble at you. Deal with them with your Sword. Secondly, he will send a stream of fireballs into the air. These are easy to dodge if you aren't up close. Just stay on the edge of the arena and watch the shadows. The third thing Facade will do is open the ground under your feet. When he starts making holes in the floor, run around like a crazy man until they go away.

To get back at the face, toss bombs at him when he appears. Make sure you aim at the center of his ugly mug, or you may miss the hit. You'll need five in order to drop him.

Mini-Boss Fight Tip: Vire
Vire's chamber is completely lined in spikes, so you'll have to step lively in order to beat him. Vire is the lapdog of Onox, but he definitely isn't a chip off the old baddie. He has several fireball attacks, but they are easily deflected by swatting your Sword.

The main thing about this fight is staying in the center of the arena. Vire will come in for a piece of you every once in a while, but if you just keep a-swinging, you'll take him down easily. Just keep that Sword slashing and Vire will be toast.

Mini-Boss Fight Tip: Calamareye
Three separate squids make up the fighting force of Calamareye. These guys surface from pools in the arena and try to pepper Link with fireballs. Other than that, they aren't much of a threat. But they are invulnerable in water, so you'll have to get them out of there. To do this, equip the Bracelet and your Sword. Wait for a squid to surface, then pull him out of the pond and chuck him into the corner. Then attack with the Sword as he's flopping back to the water. Repeat this process until all three squid go down. When this happens, you'll get a portal, a new staircase in the lower right corner of the room and a fairy.
Mini-Boss Fight Tip: Agahnim
In order to beat Agahnim, you'll need plenty of Ember Seeds, some quick feet and your Sword. This crafty mini-boss will try to trick you with subterfuge and sly craftiness. Oh, and a good deal of shiftiness. And some double-dealing.

His racket is that he separates into three parts, and you can't tell which one of him to hit. That is, until you drop an Ember Seed into each of the torches. When the torches are lit and Agahnim appears, a shadow will show up beneath the feet of the real McCoy. When this happens, approach the baddie and whack him with your Sword. But watch out for those huge fireballs he likes to throw. They're big and slow, but if you get near them, you'll feel the sting.

Eventually, each torch will fade, so they'll have to be lit several times during the course of the fight. If you run out of Ember Seeds, get more from the plants in the corners of the room. When Agahnim's flame is extinguished, he will drop a fairy and a portal.

Mini-Boss Fight Tip: Syger
This is one fast kitty! Syger is a sabre-toothed tiger with a red ball at the end of his tail. The object is to hit the ball, but Syger has advanced defenses, so this can be tough. This bad cat likes to curl up into a spiked ball and roll around the arena at top speed. When he does this, you'll have to avoid him. Pegasus Seeds help, so use them liberally.

When Syger stops, charge in on the side the ball is on. Hack at the blinking ball until Syger turns spiky again, then get on the defensive. You'll need to do this several times in order to beat him, but when you do, you'll get the requisite fairy and portal.

Mini-Boss Fight Tip: Goriya Brothers
The Goriya Brothers share a single boomerang which they really like to throw back and forth. The problem happens when you get in their way. Ultimately, if you can predict where the boomerang will go, these guys will be pretty easy to beat.

Just dodge the whirling 'rang and slay the Brothers with your Sword. When they drop, you'll get a healing fairy and a portal back to the first room in the Dungeon.

Hint: Room of Rupees
In the second dungeon you can bomb a wall with the blocks in the form of an arrow pointing to the west wall. Go inside and find a room full of rupees.
Hint - Gasha Seed Harvest
Time your Gasha plantings! Plant plenty of gasha seeds in places you won't forget, go to your next level, complete the level up to the point where the boss is, and before fighting the Boss, harvest your nuts. If you did badly with the Miniboss etc, they are more likely to give you hearts.

You will probably get several rings, a potion and some hearts if you had enough. Once you have harvested all of the nuts, plant Gahs seeds in their place. Go defeat the Boss, and come back, you will have more nuts.

Go to Subrosia for Gasha seeds. They are at:

(1) Subrosian dance
(2) Treasure hunt house
(3) Market
Easter Egg: Hidden Empty Tunnels
Go into the waterfall in the room in the Temple of Seasons where you get the Rod of Seasons to enter a secret room with absolutely nothing in it. To get into another room that has absolutely nothing, use the Shovel behind the clock-maker's house in Horon Village.
Early Autumn
NOTE: You can only do this after you have the Roc's Feather.

After you get the Zora's Flippers, go to the screen two screen s south from Malon and Talon's House, then jump over the hole and swim to the portal.

After the portal, go south one screen and pass all the lava to find the Bomb Flower. Pick it up with the Power Bracelet and take it to the Tower of Autumn and give it to the guy with the head band. You need to run next to him after he sets down the bomb.

From there, just go in and talk to Spirit of Autumn and you'll get the Autumn power for the Rod of Seasons.

Change an enemy
Find one of the green cactus-like enemies that electrocute you if hit with your sword. Use a Mystery Seed on them to change them into something else. Even if you do this, however, you still cannot hit them with your sword.

Cucco to chick
Go north of Horon Village, to the house that you took the Cuccodex to. Use a Mystery Seed on a big Cucco, and it will turn to a chick.

Giant Cucco
Go to the house where you gave Malon the Cuccodex. Keep hitting an adult Cucco until a flock of Cuccos appears. Use a Mystery Seed on the original Cucco and it will turn big. If you keep hitting the big Cucco, he will chase after you.

Hidden shop
Play the game in a Game Boy Advance. Go to Horon Village and find the locked door next to the Target Aim mini-game. It can now be opened, allowing access to a shop that sells all items for 100 rupees. In the shop, you can buy a Ring that is appraised to be the GBA Nature Ring. It is described as "Life Advanced!" in its information.

Screen reset
Once you have the Switch Hook, go to the Post Office in the past. Use the Switch Hook on any of the three filing cabinets and the screen will reset.

See in the dark
If you have not Ember Seeds and you need to see in the darkness, press Start or Select. For a very short while you will see all the paths that are not visible because of the darkness. Note: This does not work for hidden paths.

Shovel
To get the shovel, find the house with a sign next to it reading "Santa welcome". Use the rod to make it Winter. From the house, go one screen left, go up, then one screen right. Walk over the snow and fall into the house. Then, talk to the girl.

Sign Ring
Break over 100 signposts with the Lv. 2 Sword or the Power Bracelet. Then, go to the signpost lover in Subrosia and he will get mad at you. He will get his revenge buy making it look like your game has restarted, but then it will return to the same location and he will give you the "Sign Ring" to remind you not to break signposts.

Slayer's Ring
Defeat 1000 enemies then talk to Vasu.

---------------------Hints:------------------

Destroy the Great Moblin's house
Once you defeat the Great Moblin at his keep, he will move to the abandoned house just one screen south of the Gale Tree in Sunken City, making bombs. Go in the house to find a pile of bombs in the corner. Set an Ember Seed on the pile or let one of your bombs explode next to it, and then the pile will blink. Get out of the house while it is blinking. The Moblin will run away and the house will explode. After blowing it up twice or so, they will catch you, knock you out inside of the house, and the explosion will kill you.

Dungeon maps
When you get a dungeon map in a level, if you look carefully, it looks like the title of the dungeon. For example, Snake Remains or Sword and Shield dungeon, or Poisonous Moth Dungeon.

Easy win in chest game
When you enter the shop in Horon village, go upstairs (see membership card). When you pay for your game, he will look at the chests. He will look at the correct one for slightly longer.

Extra hearts
If you are in a dungeon and low on hearts, find some hearts in bushes, then go to another room and return. Get the heart at the same spot that you originally found it. Repeat until all your hearts are full. In some cases this also works for other items. Note: This only works in certain parts of the game where anyone would place them (if they could), such as the three bushes outside level 4.

Extra Rings
When the red snake in Vasu's shop lets you say a secret, enter the first fourteen letters/symbols of the secret that the red snake gives you. Then, go through every letter/symbol in the fifteenth spot in the secret. Many times the secret will be wrong or it will give you no rings. However, if you want to spend the time, it does work. When you finish just changing the last digit of the secret, change the last second, third, fourth, or fifth and see if you get more rings.

Note: This trick requires Legend Of Zelda: Oracle Of Seasons and Legend Of Zelda: Oracle Of Ages. Go to Vasu's Jewelry Store and ask the red snake (to the right of Vasu) the secret. Make a note of the secret. Play the other game and choose "Say Secret" to the red snake (to the right of Vasu) and select "OK". He will say that he transferred the rings. Talk to him again and choose "Say Secret" again. The password you just entered will still be there. Change the last two or three characters or the secret and it might be another secret, giving you more rings that you never had. If the game replies that it is wrong, change them again and repeat.

Once you finish growing a Gasha tree, enter the nearest cave, exit it, and save. Get the Gasha Nut and if it is not a ring, reset and try again. If it is a ring, warp to the town with a Gale Seed and have the ring appraised. If you already have the ring, reset, and try again. You also can get different varieties of rings from the Gasha trees if you acquire the ring from the tree during various seasons.

Fairies
The L-2 Boomerang is required for this trick. Use the boomerang to hit one of the electric sparks. If you hit the correct type, you should get a small fairy. Catch it to get six hearts. Note: You can also destroy the black and white flashing ones, but you will not get a fairy.

Finding Summer
Get Ricky then get the floodgate key. Drain the water and jump down the left cliff. Go down once, then go left, get in the middle of the cliff, and press Up. Do the same thing when you get to the next cliff. Follow the path and you will eventually find a portal. Jump off Ricky, enter in the portal, and go down to the beach. Dig to find the Star Ore, then go to shop. Trade the Star Ore for the Ribbon. Return to the beach then go down to find Rosa. Give her the ribbon and go on date with her. You can now go to the locked doors. Open them, go to the temple and open the door.

First Gen Ring
The best Ring to get and try to use is the First Gen Ring, which can be described as the Z Ring (which stands for Zelda). . It is described as "Turn into something" in its information. You can turn into the original Link from The Legend of Zelda on the NES. You cannot use items, but you can enter places.

Getting Dimitri
Go to the Subrosian Dance Hall and play until you win the flute. Get a ride from Ricky (see Hint: Getting Ricky). When you drain the water from the floodgate, go down until you see an area with a flower and two Spider Tektites. Go down one more screen and go right, and up. You will see Dimitri being attacked by Moblins. Save him and he will teach you his song. If you get the song from the shop, it will not work with Dimitri, or the dance flute for Moosh.

See in the dark:
If you have not Ember Seeds and you need to see in the darkness, press Start or Select. For a very short while you will see all the paths that are not visible because of the darkness. Note: This does not work for hidden paths.

Quick save:
Press Start + Select during game play to go directly to the save screen.

Hidden shop:
Play the game in a Game Boy Advance. Go to Horon Village and find the locked door next to the Target Aim mini-game. It can now be opened, allowing access to a shop that sells all items for 100 rupees. In the shop, you can buy a Ring that is appraised to be the GBA Nature Ring. It is described as "Life Advanced!" in its information.

Passwords:
The passwords that are revealed when the game is completed are not valid for other players. Each game has its own specific password for the ending from people. It all depends on your name, what you do with Bipin and Blossom, and other things such as Gasha seeds, rings and your lives lost. The password is used for a link game to The Legend Of Zelda: Oracle Of Ages. Passwords you get in Legend Of Zelda: Oracle Of Ages are already in Legend Of Zelda: Oracle Of Seasons, but only in the games memory of when you completed the game. If you take a password from a completely different link game and enter it, it will not be valid. Otherwise, take passwords from Legend Of Zelda: Oracle Of Ages and put them in Legend Of Zelda: Oracle Of Seasons to get the Master Sword or Biggoron's Sword.

Hidden room:
After getting the Rod Of Seasons, go into the waterfall in front of you and press Up.

Jewels:
There are four jewels to find. In a regular, unlinked, (not secrets game), the four jewels are in the following locations:

Go in front of Dancing Dragons Den (level 4). In the upper right-hand corner, dive into the water and enter a secret cave. The jewel is at the end of the cave.
You need a slingshot and Mystery and Ember Seeds. Go below Hero's Cave. Use the Slingshot to light the torch. Go on the bridge and shoot a Mystery Seed at the question mark. Kill the Ferret-looking thing and get the jewel.
Get the first five Essences. There is a place in Holodrom Plain that will give you a jewel if you have the five Essences. The place is several screens south of where you find Ricky.
Go to the stump in front of Poison Moth's Lair. Change the season to Winter. Go to the screen below and to the right of where the Heart Piece is located. The jewel should be inside the cave.
Hint: Maku Tree:
The Maku Tree slowly develops as you proceed through the game. It will change after each essence. The first makes it slightly bigger. The second makes it take half the screen and have a doorway. The third opens a stairway in the back of inside that leads to a doorway outside of the tree (second floor) -- it contains a Gasha Seed. The fourth makes the second floor have a room, but nothing really in it except for water in the corners and center and two bushes. The fifth puts some vines on the second floor walkway outside leading to the third floor. It is just a one space spot now. The sixth opens a walkway on the third floor, but no door. The seventh seems to have no effect. The eighth opens a doorway on the third floor. Inside, it is just like the second floor, only there are three bushes instead of two.

Extra hearts:
If you are in a dungeon and low on hearts, find some hearts in bushes, then go to another room and return. Get the heart at the same spot that you originally found it. Repeat until all your hearts are full. In some cases this also works for other items. Note: This only works in certain parts of the game where anyone would place them (if they could), such as the three bushes outside level 4.

Extra Rings:

Noble Sword:
Go to the Lost Woods, change the season to Winter, then go left. Change the season to Fall, then go left. Change the season to Spring, then go left. Change the season to Summer, then go left. You should find the Noble Sword. When you have full hearts, you can shoot energy beams from the sword.

100th Ring:
This Ring shows that Vasu has appraised 100 rings.

First Gen Ring:
The best Ring to get and try to use is the First Gen Ring, which can be described as the Z Ring (which stands for Zelda). . It is described as "Turn into something" in its information. You can turn into the original Link from The Legend of Zelda on the NES. You cannot use items, but you can enter places.

Peace Ring:
Get a Member's Card. Go to the Horon shop and continue to the rear. Buy all items from upstairs. You will go broke after buying all of them. If you have almost no more money, go to the snake's remains and destroy the wall where the arrow blocks are pointing. You should get about 200 to 300 rupees. When you have bought all items upstairs in the Horon shop, they will have a new item (two chests). Talk to the manager from upstairs, then pay him 10 rupees (per try). You have to get five tries with 100 rupees in the chest . However, you will not win 100 rupees. After you have won five of the correct chests, you will get a Peace Ring It allows you to take no damage from bombs that are in hands.

Red Ring:
Go east from the Gnarled Root dungeon and change the season to Summer Go south from Gnarled Root dungeon to find a stairway. Go down and a man will give you a Red Ring if you do what he says. A Red Ring doubles your sword damage without making enemies stronger. He wants you to slay 4 golden creatures. They are found at the following locations. The Soldier is east of Heroes Cave in Spring. The Octorok is south of the warp in Spool Swamp in Summer. The Moblin is near the entrance to Snakes Remains in Fall. The Wolf is in the Ancient Ruins in Winter (where there usually are two Red Soldiers and three Hard Mushrooms).

Sign Ring:
Break over 100 signposts with the Lv. 2 Sword or the Power Bracelet. Then, go to the signpost lover in Subrosia and he will get mad at you. He will get his revenge buy making it look like your game has restarted, but then it will return to the same location and he will give you the "Sign Ring" to remind you not to break signposts.

Slayer's Ring:
Defeat 1000 enemies then talk to Vasu.

Victory Ring:
Successfully complete both games and defeat the Ganon. Once you start the next game, you will have the Victory Ring.

Wealth Ring:
Collect 10,0000 rupees then talk to Vasu.

Ring transfer:
Note: This trick requires Legend Of Zelda: Oracle Of Ages. Go to Vasu's Jewelry Store and ask the red snake (to the right of Vasu) the secret. Make a note of the secret. Play Legend Of Zelda: Oracle Of Ages and choose "Say Secret" to the red snake (to the right of Vasu) and select "OK". He will say that he transferred the rings. Talk to him again and choose "Say Secret" again. The password you just entered will still be there. Change the last two or three characters or the secret and it might be another secret, giving you more rings. If the game replies that it is wrong, change them again and repeat.

Shovel:
To get the shovel, find the house with a sign next to it reading "Santa welcome". Use the rod to make it Winter. From the house, go one screen left, go up, then one screen right. Walk over the snow and fall into the house. Then, talk to the girl.

Fairies:
The L-2 Boomerang is required for this trick. Use the boomerang to hit one of the electric sparks. If you hit the correct type, you should get a small fairy. Catch it to get six hearts. Note: You can also destroy the black and white flashing ones, but you will not get a fairy.

Getting rupees:
If you are very low on rupees, take out your shovel and start to dig. You will get not only blue and red rupees from the ground, but you may also get a special huge blue rupee that appears at random. However, this rupee only appears in the towns.

After you get your Feather back from the Weird Brothers in Subrosia, leave their house then go back in again. They will have 50 ore chunks to hide. Do the task that follows, then dig up the money. You can do this as many times as needed.

At some locations you can burn bushes that can only be destroyed with Ember Seeds to discover a doorway underneath with a man inside. If you talk to him he will say that you broke his front door and make you pay for it or he will ask that you not tell anyone and give you lots of rupees. Some of the locations of the places where bushes that give between 80 to 200 rupees are:

From the screen of the first dungeon, go left and burn all the bushes. One will have a doorway.
Warp to the Scent Seed tree in north Horon and go down, left, up, and down. The closest stairs to the next screen in Summer are vines leading up the ledge Burn the two bushes. One will have a stairway.
Go to Goron Mountain. Burn the three bushes outside the cave where the Gorons live. One will have a doorway.
