Hint - Tomb of the Unknown Solders
I found this level to be the most difficult of the entire game, but I found a strategy that may be helpful to others.
First, be sure to release the captured pilots by any means. When that's done, a barrage of bombs will not be coming after you, so then proceed to take an anti-air vehicle to the edge of the crater, (the Solar Crater).
I found the most helpful way to get an anti-air craft vehicle to the edge of the crater, leave one by the entrance of the level, and when you have released the pilots take it to a left path before the large open field, (the path will be before the area with the captured pilots).
When you get to the end of this path you must dodge fire from two tanks, and you will be at the edge of the crater. Take down the gunship in the crater from the edge of the crater, (believe me it helps for the next part).
Finally, take one of your flame veterans into the crater and start taking out pillars. When several enemies pop up use the pillars as shields from their bullets. This worked quite well for me, but it may take more then one flame veteran.

Weapon Fiddling
By holding in the A button when you have a motar or bazooka you can increase the range and the fire power of the weapon. Also, if you have assault troopers and your gun is constantly becoming over heated try to keep your gun in the sweet spot, spot that enables you to fire the most rounds, just let go of A and hold it repeat and you can lay down more cover fire then an MG nest.

Bonus mission names:

100% In Technique
To get 100% technique every mission you should divide your troops into two squads: one for taking down RIFLE, BAZOOKA, FLAME, ROCKET, ASSAULT and MORTAR units (Use RECONS, RIFLE GRUNTS/VETS, ASSAULT GRUNTS/VETS, and FLAME GRUNTS/VETS) and one for taking down TANKS, T-COPTERS, RECONS, A-A VEHICLES, ARTILLERY, BATTLESTATIONS, BOMBERS, GUNSHIPS, and STATODESTROYERS (this will contain all VEHICLES excluding RECONS and T-COPTERS, it will also contain ROCKET, MORTAR and BAZOOKA units.)
Dune Sea
On the Dune Sea level position your artillery on the hills on the far left and right sides of the beach, they last the whole mission without being damaged hardly at all.
Operation POW
When Brigadeer Betty tells you "Left or Right, Commander, You decide" if you go left, that's the short way, but there are two light tanks waiting for you. If you go right, that's the long way, and there's a lot of men.
