Quick Easy Money!!

Ok all you need is two controllers. Plug one in in the first slot then plug one in the third slot. Ok you load your file then when you have your controllers in press the start button on the third slot controller. Everytime you do this you gain $10,000.You can continue to use this as many times as you want!+

Tip:

You don't need 2 controllers just unplug the controller from port 1 put it in port 3 and cheat away then put it back in port 1 when u are done and the cheats will work fine.

Mega Money and Mega Items
What you have to do is have two controllers, one in the first port of your GameCube, the other in the third port. Every time you press START on the controller in port three, you get 10,000 G. In addition to this, if you press Z on the controller plugged into port three, you get all or most of the items. But it should be noted the code works only if you are not in the pause menu (or the 'ruck-sack').

Unlock Goat
Buy it from Van for 4,000G whenever he has his shop open during Spring.

Unlock Ducks
you must buy a pond for 2,500G from Takakura. Then, during Summer of Chapter 2, wake up in the morning at a later time than your the men you got

Unlock Cat
Befriend Romana In Fall of Chapter 2, wake up at a later time in the morning than your then the man Romana will knock at your door and give you a cat

Easy Money
Have your game on and be anywhere in the game doing anything (as long as you're not on the start screen or anyother screen that shows you your money... you cant actually watch it rise.). Have another controller plugged into the 3rd slot on your gamecube. While playing have either you or someone else repeatedly press start on the other controller. If it works each time you press start you get 10000 gold! You can do this multiple times!

Unlockable items
The hoes and sickles that can be unlocked requires you to get the great field cleared before you can obtain them. The great field can be obtained during chapter 2.The fishing rod can only be obtained in chapter 2 or later.The seed maker can be obtained from Daryl until Takakura offers you the option to order the seed maker.

Win Over Rock's Heart

In order to win Rock's heart you have to give him human statues or old coins (found at the digsite). WARNING!:do not give him fossils he is scared of them and will dislike you.

Hearts For Rock

The first heart event is triggered by walking outside the Inner Inn when Lumina is outside. The second event is triggered by walking outside of your home at about 4:00 p.m. The third event is triggered by walking to the corner of the Inner Inn (the side with the kiln). It is triggered easiest by leaving the Inner Inn, then walking left until you get to the corner.

Easy Money

Milk your cow and sell your milk for 115 gold.

Win Over Marlin

He's kinda like Nami shy and mysterious. He likes meals like curries and soups. Since he always works in the fiels he is always up for an extra boost of medicine to revive his stamina. Warning: Dont serve him anything with tempura.

Win Over Gustafa

If you want to marry Gustafa though I couldnt understand why anyone would.(Seriously he's an Old Geezer)He likes ores and flowers and unusual statues. Warning:He hates fish and everything that has to do with them.(FISHING)

Crop Seasons

Here are the season for the main crops you can get:

Tomato - Spring-Fall 30g
Watermelon - Spring-Summer 60g
Strawberry - Fall-Spring 30g
Melon - Summer-Fall 50g
Turnip - Summer-Winter 20g
Potato - Winter-Spring 40g

Easy and quick money at beginning

At the beginning of the game check the whole vally and pick every flower there should be over 20 flowers.Go to the tree next to the inn and sell all flowers and make alot of money. (once I made 900 gold by selling all the flowers)

Gustufas's heart scenes

The first event is triggered when you walk out of your farm some time during the afternoon. He is talking with Nami and they have a scene together. The second scene is when you go to Gustafa's yurt the next day at specifically 10:00. He will be walking back and forth inside his yurt. He will then notice you and says something like "Would you like to talk with me for a while?" say yes and the screen will turn black and then it comes back to picture when your done. The third scene is when you walk out of your farm sometime between 7:00-8:00. Gustafa will be sitting on the ground playing his guitar he will ask if you want to listen to a song. say yes and he will play part of his love song for you. This scene happens in the fall go out of your hose sometime in the morning and Gustafa will be there. He will ask you if you would join him for a walk. Say yes and you will be walking towards the waterfall. He will then ask would you like to hear my song. Say yes. There are more scenes during the fall so don't propose until winter 9th or 10th.

Diary Locations

Marlin: in Vesta's house near the tomato picture
Rock: in his room on the table near his dresser
Gustafa: in his house by the guitars



Getting Cliff A Job

To get Cliff to stay in town, you have to get him a job. Specifically, a job at the winery. To do this, on Fall 14th when Duke comes to ask you to help harvest, say you will. He tells you to bring a friend to help. So, later that day, find Carter and talk to him. He requests that you take Cliff with you to help out. Find Cliff at his main locations, either at the Church or in his room in the hotel. Talk to him and get him to join you the next day. At 10:00 Fall 15th, go to the winery and talk to Duke. You will pick the grapes (but you don't ACTUALLY get the pick them) and Duke will hopefully give Cliff a job. After that you can continue with the scenes. Good luck!



Harvest Goddess Birthday

The great Harvest Goddess has a BIRTHDAY! It is on Spring 8th and she likes flowers.

Money

Ok everyone say use the 2 controller in the third slot and press start to get money but dont the money will not work with van or vesta instead put the controller in the third slot and press z  and you should have a whole bunch of items sell them either to van or sell the crops seeds and dairy at the food storage place.  that money you get you can use it on anything.

Unlockable Animals

Do the following to unlock these animals... Dog: When you first start out 2 dogs will run up to you and he says you can only keep one. Either choose the Pointy Eared or Long Eared one. Lizard: In the winter of the first year a white monster will walk up and down the pathway to the Forest people (Elf looking guys who live in a big tree) by your farm. Daryl (The crazy sciencetist) will try to catch the monster. Every day in Winter while the monster is there give him a fish everyday to make him happy. At night walk out of your house and there will be a scene where Daryl is putting food out and Moi (The homeless caveman with flies around him) will take the food while Daryl is bragging about how cool his plan is. Don't miss one of the Winter scenes! Be friends with Daryl and the monster and then you will get the Lizard. (Looks like a alligator and he will come out in Summer and has a bandage on his foot.) WARNING: He will chase you if mess will him in the wild. Raccoon: In the first chapter Befriend Vesta (Lady who owens the crop farm across the bridge) She will give you the hoe and then she will then later have a scene where she will say you are doing a good job and will give you a raccoon. Chihuahua: Every year go to the Dig Site (By the waterfall) and find a Stone Tablet every year and on the sixth year he will give you a Chihuahua Dog. (Looks like a mouse.) Cat: On the second chapter be friends with Romana (Old lady at the Mansion) and in Fall she will knock on the door and give you a cat. It is a boy cat.

The Seed Maker

Okay,first wait until Summer or Spring in Chapter 1. When you are in your farm,talk to Takakura.He will say''I saw somthing called a seed maker in the city''.After that you can order it on the Order Form.When you have it you can put your crops in it and you get seeds.

I Think This is The Right Harvest Moon

ok, this has probably been said here alot, but if you put the controller in slot 3 and hit start you get 10,000 gold.  And with the contrroller still in slot 3 hit the Z Button  you get alot of items. I did that and thought it was a glitch! And I restart my game! But I checked around on websites and it's a cheat.

 

The First Things I Did In This Game If You Want To Win Rock's Heart:

1.   Hit START when controller is in slot 3 about 15 times.

2.   Bought the Food Processing Room

3.   Milked my cow and put her out

4.   Bought a  brown cow

5.   At about 10AM I  went and gave Rock a thing of milk

6.   Went to Celia and bought one of every tree and  2.3.or 4 of almost everything else. 

7.   Went and planted every seed and watered them

8.   Went to the bar and bought a stone oil

9.   Put my cow in

10.    Went to Rock to talk and give another milk

11.    went to bed

 

I know i did more but my house was on fire, it was the 'Mom,2 Kids & Orange Cat" was the headline for the fire.SO it's been 2 and a half months since I have played that game so when i move back in (APRIL) and do play my game again I'll put more hints for later in Harvest Moon Life

The boys

•   You may know this already,  But you can marry one out of these boys:
•    Rock: He lives at the Inner Inn.  He loves statues, Moon drops,  and milk.  But do not, and I mean not, Give him anything to do with goats. He even hates goat cheese! (How weird is that!)
•     Merlin:  He likes milk, eggs,  and any medicine that you can buy from Vans. He hates Tempura,  cheese,  and goat cheese,  and regular cheese.  (Whats wrong with this guy?)       Gustafa:  He loves flowers, old coins, eggs and milk.  He hates fish and fishing. and almost anything to do with fish!   My favorite scenes are:
•   Rock: When he takes you to the beach.
•   Gustafa: When he takes you to the waterfall.
•   Merlin: When Celia pretends like she is tired so she can let you and Merlin be alone.
