Cheep Cheep Falls: Win Lakitu Cup in Tournament Mode.
Shifting Sands: Win Cheep Cheep Tournament in Tournament Mode.
Blooper Bay: Win Sands Classic in Tournament Mode.
Peach's Castle Grounds: Win Blooper Open in Tournament Mode.
Bowser Badlands: Win Peach's Invitational in Tournament Mode.
Unlockable: Hidden Characters
Boo: Earn 50 Best Badges in Tournament Mode.
Bowser Jr.: Earn all stars in the Ring Mode with any one character. (Alternate source "Jason" maintains you must complete the birdie challenge by winning the front 9 holes of congo canopy, the back 9, and then all 18 holes. Confirmed by "Joel".)
Petey Piranha: Complete Shooting, Approaching, and Putting side games on all 3 difficulty levels.
Shadow Mario: Collect a Best Badge for every hole in Tournament Mode (You can use any combination of characters). (Alternate source "Jason" maintains you must complete the ring attack competition with one certain character of your choice. Confirmed by "Joel".)

Unlockable: Birdie Challenge Back Nine
Beat the front nine in Birdie Challenge.
Unlockable: Peach Open
To unlock the Peach Open, at the main menu hold Z and press START. Then at the special tournaments page enter the code ELBUT3PX.
Unlockable: Bowser's Big Blast
After unlocking the Password Tournament feature, type in 9L3L9KHR to get the tournament, Bowser's Big Blast, on Bowser's Badlands.
Extra Tournaments
Several unique tournaments can be entered by accessing Mario Golf's cheat menu. Press Start + Z at the title screen to access the cheat menu.

Hole In One Contest: Accessed in Special Tournaments menu. For other tournaments, choose Password Tournament, then enter any of the following:

  • Target Bullseye: CEUFPXJ1
  • Hollywood Video Tournament: BJGQBULZ
  • Camp Hyrule Tournament: OEKW5G7U
  • Mario open: GGAA241H
  • Bowser Badlands Tour: 9L3L9KHR
  • Bowser Jr. Jumbo Tourney: 2GPL67PN
Hint: Quick Replay
Once your shot has stopped, press B to watch an immediate replay. The angle will change each time you view the replay. Press A to speed the ball up during the replay.
Hint: Better Players
To get better versions of each player, accept their invitation in Character Matches Mode and defeat them. Note: You'll see an envelope next to the character with an invitation. Only beating characters through invitation earns you upgraded stats for that character!
Hint: Change Weather
Save your game and then reload it. The weather is randomly generated each time the hole loads.
Hint: Super Spins
When setting the accuracy meter, there are four types of spins you can apply depending on your button combo press. You must enter the combo quickly:
A, A: Normal topspin
B, B: Normal Backspin
A, B: Super topspin
B, A: Super backspin
Hint: Taunt Your Opponent (Or Being Obnoxious)
If playing a multiplayer game (with multiple controllers), press any button or use the C-Stick when it isn't your turn to taunt the opponent. Each character has four separate taunt phrases/sounds. Pressing and holding a button and moving t.opeeft analog will yield more (and nastier) phrases.

When you taunt you can either use the C-stick for nice taunts or the D-pad for evil taunts. This makes it easy to do multiple taunts for maximum annoyance of other players for when you want the others to screw up in really competitive games where heavy bets have been placed. Just roll your thumbs on the d-pad and c-stick and it will make their mind twist and flip.
Hint: Restart Hole
At any time in any one-player game mode that allows you to save (i.e. Tournament Mode, Character Matches), you can restart a hole you're doing poorly on. Save the game and when you reload you will begin at your drive and all uses of Power and all shots will be erased, giving you a second chance.
Hint: Reset Pin Location
Don't like where a pin is located? Save your game and when you load it up the pin will be randomly relocated.
Hint: Pikmin at the Peach Invitational
During the Peach Invitational, if your ball lands in the yellow flowers you will hear a weird noise and see small Pikmin fly out screaming. Press B to see an instant replay of the action!

At the main title screen hold the Z button and press start. There should now be a selection called "Special Contests" From there you can do a hole in one challenge, as well as password input.

Target Tour Tournament: At the "Special Contests" section type the code CEUFPXJ1.

Hollywood Video Tour: At the "Special Contests" section type the code BJGQBULZ.

Mario Open: At the "Special Contests" section type the code GGAA241H.



Taunt Opponents

During your opponent's turn press on the D-Pad Up, Down, Left, or Right.

Compliment Opponents

During your opponent's turn press on the C-Stick Up, Down, Left, or Right

Unlock Camp Hyrule Tourney

Go to the title screen and press Start + Z to get the code screen. Now enter 0EKW5G7U for the code

Super Topspin/Backspin

In order to do a super topspin preform a manual shot and hit (ab) at the end instead of (aa). The same thing is done for the super backspin except you hit (ba).

Use Tournament Mode and win the Lakitu Cup
Unlock Peach's Castle Grounds
Use Tournament Mode and win the Blooper Open
Unlock Bowser Badlands
Use Tournament Mode and win the Peach's Invitational
How to unlock star tournament
Beat all the tournaments, and get all of the trophies (make sure to win first place in all of them). After you get beat the final tournament (bowser championship), it will tell you that you have unlocked the star tournament (which is basically hard mode).

Unlock Boo Character
Hello anybody wondering one of the secret characters is Boo and he is ready to play so get 50 Birdie Badges And it Will say new Character Unlocked

New Golf Course
Animal crossing park: beat Bowser Badlands in tournament mode.

Unlock Baby Bowser
In order to get baby bowser you can either beat ring attack, or you can beat birdie challenge, first on the front 9, then the back 9, then all 18 at once.
Unlock Shadow Mario
Finish Ring Mode to Unlock him
Star characters
To get Star characters in 1p mode go to character match then when choosing the cp character pick the one with a envelope beside them beat him/her/it and you have unlocked that star character now when choosing YOUR character press R

Unlock Back 9 holes of Congo Canopy
Complete the Front 9 holes of Congo Canopy in birdie challenge.
Taunt Players
Use Tournament Mode and win the Sands Classic, then n multiplayer use the C-Stick while not your turn to taunt other players.
How to get shadow mario and petey piranha
To get shadow mario beat all of the the ring challenges for a charachter.Ive done it with yoshi. to get petey piranha beat all of the side games except the birdie one.

Use Tournament Mode and win the Sands Classic

Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour Hints
Manual Hit
Entry Location:
during gameplay

With any player, you can use a manual shot. To do this, when you aim, then press A, at the end of the meter, press B then at the other end press either A B, this will give you a super topspin. A A will give you topspin. B A, super backspin, B B, backspin.

Beat Every Course
Before you start each hole press start and go down to save that way if you get a bogey or worse you can go back to save and go to end the game. When it gets back to the main menu go to continue and go to the saved data it's on and click on it now you can start over that particular hole that you were just on. It may take a while but it's worth it.
P.S. If you get a bogey or worse do not press save on the next hole if you want to redo that same hole.

Perfect Power Swing
Fans of using Manual swing this code is not for you. If your fond of using auto swing then this code is very effective. Easly watch the small arrow below the number marking at the bottom of your screen. Take the meter clear to Mario's Hands and hit A quickly and make sure that you hit B before you do any of that to make sure that the red golf ball is by your meter that says POWER and hit A again then if you here the smack of Mario's Hands The Perfect NICE SHOT Will occur.

Unlock All Tournaments Easy
This Cheat is very simple Go into Tournament with any Character and Choose Lakitu Cup. Complete all 18 Holes In first place and Cheep Cheep Tournament will be unlocked. Do the same thing here but remember you must be placed in first to unlock these levels.Sand Classics will be unlocked after Cheep Cheep Tournament is completed go on there are only four tournaments total. It should take the regular Mario or golf fan that long.

Pikmin
If you hit the ball into a flower patch, Pikmin will fly out. I noticed it on hole 18 of Peach's Invitational.
