Machine Gun with Infinite Ammo

Complete either character's second scenario without saving the game in under 3 hours with a A or B ranking for the special machine gun. The special weapon will appear in the next game after the first chest is opened.

Easy Crocodile Kill

When fighting the crocodile, and he starts coming towards you, go and inspect the yellow light on the left wall. The a gas canister will fall down and the crocodile will eat it. Now while the canister is in its mouth, shoot it and the crocodile will explode.

Gatling Gun with Infinite Ammo

Complete either character's second scenario without saving the game in under 2.5 hours with an A or B ranking for the special gatling gun. The special weapon will appear in the next game after the first chest is opened.

How to defeat William (last fight) easily

In Scenario A, you face William again at the room where you call the large elevator. If Claire found it, use the submachine gun and he's as easy as pie, when he transforms, whip out that grenade launcher and put some grenade rounds right into that big mouth of his, for Leon, use that flamethrower, or if you decided to take it, the submachine gun for the first round, when he transforms, finish off the flameshrower on him and use that Custom Magnum if you got it, otherwise the regular magnum or upgraded shotgun work well, but he bounces around a lot, so make sure you bring plenty of health items, and when he goes into his transformed stage, he can hop up on the tops of those tanks, when he does, run around, so he doesn't smack you when he jumps off.

Invincibility

At the load game screen, press Down(4), Left(4), L, R(2), L, C-Up, C-Down. If you entered the code correctly, the game will return to the main menu.

Hunk Minigame

Finish Leon or Claire`s scenario A in Normal, under 2 1/2 hours, saving less then 5 times, getting A or B rank. Save so you will get the R. Launcher, then, using the saved game, finish the B Scenario in less then 2 1/2 hours, saving less then 5 times, getting A or B rank and you wil get the S. M. Gun, then it will ask you to save again so yuo can play a Minigame, save that, go to Load Game and look for a saved game called "Hunk/00/4th Survivor".

How to defeat William (first time) easily

You encounter William twice in the game, and face 3 of his stages. You face him in his second when you are going to the lab, you need heavy guns, Claire should use the grenade launcher (loaded with acid and flame rounds of course), because the spark shot has too much recoil and a limited range, so you'll end up using more health items than needed, and Leon should use his Custom shotgun and a little magnum wouldn't hurt, though you really don't want to use more than a clip. put distance between you and William so you can plug him from a safe distance, and stay to a side of the walkway, so if he gets close, you have a change to juke him and run along the other side, repeat as necessary. (Leon can even use his Custom handgun, if you found the parts, on automatic)

In the room on the second floor in the racoon police department there is a desk on the far end of the room. The desk is by a bunce of badges. Over where the bookshelf is, there is a little portrait. Click on the picture and you will see the whole S.T.A.R.S team.

Safe Combo

Type in 4542 or 3326 to open the safe. You get some ammo and a map

Unlimited Ammo

At the load game screen enter,up(4),right(4),L,R,L,R,right-c,left-c.It will return to the title screen if code is entered correctly.

Rocket Launcher with Infinite Ammo

Beat scenario A on NORMAL difficulty with either Leon or Claire in under 2 1/2 hours with an "B" ranking or better. After you accomplish that, save your game and the zombie destroyer will be located in your storage box.

Secret Film

To get the secret film, go to the S.T.A.R.S office room, (second floor of the Police building) and check the desk on the left side of the room next to the picture that shows the team and check the same spot on the desk 50 times. Then BOOM! a secret film will pop up, it's a picture of Rebecca from the S.T.A.R.S team.

Shoot the Television Screen

When your shooting a zombie (typically in the police station), try to get a view where your character is facing the screen. Then move to an angle away from the zombie coming towards you. If you did it right, there will be bullet holes in the screen.

Super Stamina

For limited invulnerability, mix the green, blue and red herbs in that order. You MUST mix the herbs in that order, or they will not work. Green and Blue MUST be mixed together first, then you add the red herb.

Change Costumes

To change Leon's or Clair's costumes, choose "normal" skill level, start the game, go to the Racoon PD gate (right after the bus.)

DO NOT PICK UP ANYTHING ALONG THE WAY.

After the gate, go down the stairs that you see in front of you, and you'll see a yellow vested zombie that wasn't there before: pop a couple bullets in him and when he falls down, go up to him and pop a couple more into him. Reach down after he's dead and you'll receive a "special key". Bring the Key to the dark room and use the key to open the police locker.

Easily Unlock Hunk

To unlock Hunk with a code, just go to the Load Game Menu and enter:

Up, down, Left, right, Left, Left, Right, Right, L, R, C-UP, C-RIGHT, C, C-DOWN, then C-LEFT.

This will launch the 4th survivor mode.

Easily Unlock TOFU

To unlock TOFU with a code, just go to the Load Game Menu and enter:

Up, Down, Left, Right, Left, Left, Right Right, L, R, C-UP, C-LEFT, C-DOWN and C-RIGHT.

This will bring you right to the TOFU stage.

You have to make it to the police station with out picking up anything. Enter the police station and pick up the bullets on the desk then head back outside go down the stairs and there will be a zombie down there. He is hard to kill but when you do search him you will find a key go back in and when you get tothe dark room their will be a locker and you can open it and find a new suit and gun...

Infinite Gatling Gun

After beating the game with Leon or Claire with a grade of a or b, you must start the game over with leon and go to city hall and it is at the front desk.

Safe Code

first go to the police department and get the blue key card from the black guy and go upto the computer and keep pressing x and it will show the doors unlock go back up the stairs in the front of the police station inside and turn left and go in the room there is about five zombies in there and one zombie in a door way with a desk inside os it go upto the safe and put in the numbers 2236 and it will open in there you will find a police station map and a bag full of six acid spary things. Also reported as 4542 or 3326. get the number from the police report it may change.

At the aligator with leon or claire there is a yellow butten on the wall if you push it a gas canastor will fall out of the wall the alligator will grab it in its mouth and you shot at the canastor with your handgun and the alligator will blow to bits.

Upgrades for Leon and cool gun for Claire

There are many upgrades to leon's guns. the 1st is in the desk right b4 you first enter the library. To get in the desk you will need a small key and you will get the handgun parts. Towards the end, after you get off the tram you should lite the flare gun and a key will appear. pick it up. as you go through the door there will be an intersection, go left. there will be a dead corpse, search him and you will find parts for the shotgun. Then when you are about to enter the lab where the g-virus is made there is a set of lockers. Open the one with the blue lite ontop. here are the magnum parts. When you are Claire you will find a really neat gun in the same spot where you find the shotgun parts for leon. i forget what its called but its really cool.

Hidden Audio Trick

Start a new game with Leon. Right when the Racoon City street sign exits the screen (not the freeway sign), start the song "Enter Sandman" by Metallica. Watch how the words and the music follow the game exactly! It will blow you away!

Invincibility

Goto load screen then press Down (4) Left (4) L Shoulder R Shoulder twice Then L again then C-up then C-down

Infinite Acid Rounds

To get infinite acid rounds, you have to get infinite ammo for the grenade launcher, then combine the acid rounds with the grenade launcher to get infinite acid rounds.

Infinite Ammo

Go to the load game and press Up, Up, Up, Up, Right, Right, Right, Right, L, R, L, R, C-Right, C-Left

Secret Police Station Gate

Make your way to the main police station door...But don't go in it!!! Go directly across from it until you hit a wall and press the A button and the camera view will change and show a gate with 3 zombies on the other side. You can kill the zombies but the gate won't open. You can keep on killing the same zombies by going into the police station then outside and go to the same gate.

Rebecca Chambers Picture

Go to the S.T.A.R.S main office on the second floor adn inspect the desk 50 times.You will be asked to get a roll of film.Say yes and go to the dark room on the first floor.Develope the film and you will get a pic of Rebecca Chambers in a basketball uniform.

Get Both Red Diamonds

message: #1: go where you see the two statues and both are faceing the wall you have to push them out and switch the one on the left to the one on the right but you have to put them against the wall where you see the thing built into the wall like a little ridge. #2: you have to be claire for both of them of of your leon you have to find the lighter then you go to the classroom on the the west side of the building (it's the room where there's lots of seats) then go in the back room and you'll see a painting with a naked guy being hung then you get in front of it get the lighter out and it will burn a little hole where th red diamond will fall out

Infinite Gatling Gun

To get this code you must complete the second scenario in under two and 1/2 hours without saving any. You can be either character, Leon or Claire.

All Weapons

Press c-up(4 times),c-down(7 times),L,R,R+L,R+L, at the load game screen. The game then returns to the main menu.

NOTE:It will only return to the main menu if you did it correcctly!!!!!!!!

Super Stamina
For limited invulnerability, mix the green, blue and red herbs in that order. You MUST mix the herbs in that order, or they will not work. Green and Blue MUST be mixed together first, then you add the red herb.

Alternate costumes
For alternate costumes, first get the special key in the first scenario, by
getting to the police station without picking up any ammo. Then get the box
of handgun ammo off the desk near the computer. Go back outside, and
down the stairs you will see a zombie, wearing camouflage pants and a
yellow vest, who normally isn't there. He'll take about 30 shots before
going down. When he finally does, search him to get the special key. Take it
to the save room where you develop pictures, and inside you'll find a locker
that the key will open with a change of clothes waiting inside.

Play as Hunk and Tofu
Hunk: The fourth survivor is a bonus game mode that features another playable
character named "Hunk." Hunk is one of the soldiers who tried to take the
G-virus from William, as seen during the midgame CG FMV. Hunk's mission is to
get from the sewer to the second floor of the police station. It is a battle
mode with no puzzles to solve or items to pick up. To open up this mode, beat
the second scenario for either of the two characters with an "A" rating.
Tofu: Tofu is yet another playable character. He's actually a giant piece of
tofu, who plays the same scenario as Hunk but is armed with only a knife. To
open up Tofu, you must play through the game three times. Play through a first
scenario, then it's corresponding second scenario. Then the other character's
first and its second scenario. Then finally the first and second scenario all
over again. If you can finish each one of the six scenarios each with an "A"
rating then you can play as Tofu.

How to get the three secret weapons with infinite ammo
Beat the 1st Scenario in under 2 1/2 hours with a B or A ranking. Gatling Gun:
Beat the 2nd Scenario in under 2 1/2 hours with a B or A ranking.
Submachine Gun:Beat the 2nd Scenario under 3 hours with a ranking of B or A.
All 3 Weapons:
beat the 2nd Scenario in under 2 1/2 hours with a ranking of B or A.

See a picture of all the original S.T.A.R.S. members
To see a picture of all the original S.T.A.R.S. members go into the room on the
2nd floor in the police station where you run into Claire and tell her that her
brother is dead and look at the wall on the left side of the room; right of the
trophy case and examine the picture on the wall and the screen will do a close
up on the picture.

Serpents Stone
To get the Serpents Stone enter the library on the second floor of the police
station, walk up the stares. Now walk over to the part ware the floor is week
and fall down into it. Push the power to the book case and get out. Now that
your out head on over to the book case that is farthest to the left and move it
to the right, move to the next one and move it to the right. Viola! The Serpents
Stone is your's. (I have only tried it with Claire)

Extra machine gun ammo
For extra machine gun ammo, get to Umbrella's secret lab with Leon A or
Clair A. You'll find a room with a huge moth. Kill the moth and the larva on
the computer. Go up to the computer and type in nemesis. Then go all the
way back to the place where the frozen room was but instead of going into
the frozen room open the shutters or if they were already open go past
them where you'll find another computer. Use the computer and you'll enter
in your fingerprint. then beat the rest of the game and you'll get Claire or
Leon B. Do the same thing again and it will open the door just beyond the
computer. Kill the lickers that are inside and grab the machine gun ammo
next to the dead guy.

Stay healthy for quite a while
This is a trick for health but it lets you stay healthy for quite a while. What
you have to do is mix the green herbs with the blue herbs then, the green herb
and blue herb to the red herb then when you look at it it will look a brownish
color. You have to do it in that exact order or else it will not work.

Weapon upgrades
When you play the game as Leon, there are two weapon upgrades; one for
the shotgun and one for the magnum. When find the upgrades (in the game
it will say "shotgun parts" or "magnum parts") you combine it with the weapon
it says. The shotgun parts are in the sewer. You get them when you check
a dead guy. The magnum parts are in the lab.

Final boss tip
An easy way to beat the final boss for the first scenario as Leon is to use
your upgraded magnum for the first boss. He then will mutate into a rino
type monster and the easiest way to beat it is to shoot it with your shotgun
when it isn't trying to kill you.

Moonwalk
This is a pretty funny character movement that works best with Leon. Just
get a good camera angle, then tap down on the joy stick. Type down very
fast and he will appear to do the moonwalk. Now isn't that more fun then
shooting zombies?

Invincibility
Invincibility is At the load game screen, press Down(4), Left(4), L, R(2), L, C-Up, C-Down. If you entered the code correctly, the game will return to the main menu.

Infinite ammunition is
