Cheat Codes

To enable the Cheat Mode you must first go to the Start Bar and then Programs then Black Isle. You must select Icewind Dale Configuration. Now enable the Game Console under Game options. You will now be able to open the game console by hitting Ctrl + Tab. Once the console is open you can enter in the following codes.

GETYOURCHEATON:EnableCheatKeys();	This will enable your Cheat Keys
	The Cheat Keys are as follows: Ctrl + J = Move your character to your cursor location Ctrl + R = Resurect or Heal the selected character Ctrl + Y = Kill the selected monster Ctrl + 4 = Display the triggers, also traps Ctrl + 9 = Displays the characters boundary boxes.
GETYOURCHEATON:ExploreArea ();	This will reveal the entire map
GETYOURCHEATON:Hans();	This will move selected character to your cursor location.
GETYOURCHEATON:FirstAid();	This will give you 5 healing potions, 5 antidotes and 1 Scroll of Stone to Flesh.

Cheat mode:
This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "icewind.ini" file in the game directory. Add the line "Cheats=1" under the "[Game Options]" section. Start the game and press [Ctrl] + [Tab] to display the console window. Type the following case-sensitive command to enable cheat mode: GETYOURCHEATON:EnableCheatKeys();

Effect Code

Move selected characters to pointer position. - [Ctrl] + J
Heal or resurrect the selected character or portrait - [Ctrl] + R
Kill selected monster or NPC with no EXP - [Ctrl] + Y
Display trigger polygons; shows traps - [Ctrl] + 4
Cycle character icon backwards - [Ctrl] + 6
Cycle character icon forwards - [Ctrl] + 7
Display character bounding boxes - [Ctrl] + 9

Full map
Type GETYOURCHEATON:ExploreArea(); at the console window

Give selected characters indicated EXP
Type GETYOURCHEATON:SetCurrentXP(); at the console window

Add indicated gold to party total
Type GETYOURCHEATON:AddGold(); at the console window

Add 500 gold to party total
Type GETYOURCHEATON:Midas(); at the console window

Spawn indicated item
Type GETYOURCHEATON:CreateItem(); at the console window

Teleport party to pointer
Type GETYOURCHEATON:Hans(); at the console window

Summon Jeff K to attack
Type GETYOURCHEATON:JeffKAttacks() at the console window

Summon Jeff K to defend
