Lots Of Money
Enter !;!;!;!;!; all the way across the cheat box then delete one of the ! and put 1 in. Hold enter and your money will go up very fast.

Building a Castle in the Clouds
Large second - floor extensions to a house, or even an entire house in the air, can be built totally unsupported by the following method. First, lay out a complete ground layer of pillars. You`ll need lots to form a surface to build on. Next build your second-floor home on top of these pillars. It`s important that you do ALL the structural work at this point; get all the walls placed and floors put in. Don`t forget the stairs! Next, simply switch to the ground floor, and delete all the pillars. The house will remain standing, completely unsupported by anything except thin air! Voila! A castle in the clouds for your Sims!


Fast Money:
Bring up cheat mode and enter the "klapaucius" code. The bring up cheat mode again and enter "!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!:!;!" (you can add up to 60 total).
Garbage Bag of Holding
In the early stages of The Sims life time is often wasted emptying the trash and bringing it to the curb. I found that if you fill the cheap 30 simolian trash barrel you can order your sim to empty it and just as they remove the bag cancel the order. Then order them to pick up the mess that they just made and they will return the full bag to an empty barrel, which will now be empty. Do this every time it fills and trash need never be brought outside to the curb again. This saves a lot of time.


Paying the Bills
Simply keep a bill, unpaid, until the mail carrier delivers the next set. When your flag is up (your mailbox being full of-- what else, more bills), pay the first one (i.e., bring it out to the mailbox.) When you do this, the newer bills disappear. Using this cheat, you will only have to pay every other bill, instead of every one.


Raise Sims Mood Bars
When using the move_object cheat you can restore your Sims mood bars by getting your Sim to sit in a chair, pausing the game and deleting the chair that your Sim is in. Your Sim will disappear. Unpause the game and click on your Sims face icon and your Sim will reappear with some restored bars.


Don`t Pay Bills:
If you don`t want to pay the bills all you have to do is go to `Buy mode` and then pick up the bills. Then move them to a place where they cannot be put down like a chair and then press `Escape`. the Bills will disappear and won`t need paying.

Trap Burgerlers or get rid of an unwanted Roomies

All you have to do is pause your game and bulid a fence around the burgler/roomie. For Burgler:Trap and call Police. Roomie:Lure out side far away from house and trap.(they get sorta annoying)

Slow Down Burglars!

If you need to spare time to call the police or to wait for them to arrive during a burglar strike,  hold your cursor over the criminal and follow him with it.  This makes him walk in slow motion.  That should slow him down enough for the police to nab him!!!

Make your own roof pattern

To create a roof pattern go into paint. Create a box that is 32 pixels (little squares that each picture is composed of) by 32 pixels. Then be creative and make a crude pattern that you would like to put on the roofs of your sims houses. Save the document as c (and then a number)  in the roof folder in The Sims. To get here go to My computer on your desk top, then your main drive; in windows Millennium Edition for example it is the (C:) drive. go to the folder program files , then to the folder maxis then to the sims, then to gamedata and finally to roofs. The only thing is that The Sims setup will only load up to 16 roof patterns so choose carefully when the new sims expansions are loaded into your computer remove all of your own roof tiles and put back only the amount that will fit (there should only be 16 paint documents in your folder)

No More Bills

To eliminate paying bills completely, use the "move_objects on" cheat and simply pick up your mailbox, then hit DELETE.  No more mailbox, no postman, no bills!  Remember to turn "move_objects off" afterwards.

Kill off your person

To kill off your person make a swimming pool then send he/she in then take the ladders and diving board away. 

New Money Code (Sims version 1.1)

For those of you who have downloaded the patch to make The Sims into The Sims v1.1, The new money cheat is ROSEBUD. The rest can be done exactly the same, ex. ;!;!;!, as usual.

Planting flowers,trees etc... outside your border!!!!!!!!!!

First enter the cheat "Move_objects on" then go to the "build mode (F3)" and then to the "plant tool".After simply plant what do you want!Dont worry they wont die also they wont grow.
    If You want them to grow just plant it in your garden and let them grow after move them to the place where you want!

Never miss work

This cheat is kind of like the never pay bills cheat. First put on the move objects code. Then move your trash can out in the middle of the road. When the car drives up, it will stop moving and start honking!



Tax Evasion

 When the mail arrives, have your Sim receive it. Then tell him to 'Pay Bills', and when he's on his way to the mailbox with the bills in his hands, pause the game. Spend money in the buy mode until you don't have enough to pay the bills. Than unpause the game, and watch how the Sim puts the bills in the mailbox, and you lose no money! To get the money you just spent on items back, simply sell the items you bought. Since you have just bought them, you'll get a full refund!



Fast Promotion

It's simple.  All's you gotta do is, first,enter the 'move objects'code ON, then send your Sim off to sleep, then, right before they wake up, SELL your bed.  Time will still be set on "ultra," so hit the normal speed button.  Then click on your Sim's face in the gallery, and there they are.  BAM!  Instant promotion/good grades/marriage (if the time is right)!
