Full level up points
Start a new game. do the level up cheat. save the game and quit it. then start a new game. import the player you just were and do the cheat again. keep doing this untill you have full points.

Loading Screen Trick
While the game is loading and you see the text Loading, use the R3 analog stick to move the flames left, right or up.

Unlock Drizzt Do'Urden
Complete the game once on any difficulty.

Level 10, 45 skill points, 500,000.
Press and hold L1 + R1 + Triangle + Square + Circle + X. While still holding them, press L2.

Level Warp
select any area in the game, press Circle to exit menu after warp.

Infinite Health
Take no damage, but if you fall into a pit, you will be stuck.

Extreme Mode
Beat the game on any difficulty to unlock Extreme Mode

Level 10 character
Hold [L1] + [R1] + [Triangle] + [Square] + [Circle] + [X] and press [L2] during game play. Your current character will now be at level 10, with 45 feat points and 500,000 gold. To use this code again, save the game, reload the game, return to the title screen, and repeat it.

Play as Artemis Entreri
Successfully complete the game under the extreme difficulty setting. Then, highlight Alessia Faithhammer and press [Down]x2 at the character selection screen.

Easy bonus characters
To play a Drizzt or Artemis easily, enable the "Cheat mode" code, then use the level warp cheat to go to the BGate3 map for Drizzt. Do the same under the extreme difficulty setting for for Artemis.

Extreme mode
Successfully complete the game under any difficulty setting.

Easy gold
Note: This trick takes awhile to complete. Enable the "Level 10 character" code. Go to the trader and buy as many rubies as you can. Save the game, then quit. Reload that game then repeat those steps. After you feel you have enough rubies, you can sell them back to the trader. Depending on how many you sell, you can make quite a lot of money. For example, if you buy 2,000 rubies, you can sell them for close to 3 million gold It is best to use this trick before you advance past level 10 or you will be low in HP.

Easy gold and experience
In some situations, your character may be awarded a prize of 1,000 gold and 1,000 experience points. However, before you claim a prize, save the game and get your award. Load a previously saved game before you get your gold and experience points. Then, load the character that already has the gold and experience points. Keep repeating this processes to get a lot of gold and experience points.

To get 1,000 experience points and 1,000 gold an unlimited number of times, enable the "Cheat mode" code. Level warp to "BGate2". Talk to Randola Brasshorn and she will give you 1,000 experience points and 1,000 gold for bringing her to Baldur's Gate. After you get your reward, you will be warped to "BGate1". Warp back to BGate2 and talk to Randola Brasshorn to earn another 1,000 experience points and 1,000 gold. Repeat these steps as many times as desired.

Easy stat increase
This is a combination of two different methods. First go to the person who will sell your character experience, then enable the "Level 10 character" code. Then, level up to level 12. To do this you may have to use an alternate save after you finish buying experience, then reloading the save before buying experience and importing the character. Now that you are level twelve, select your stat increase then save the game in an alternate save slot. Next, continue as if you were to level again but before you talk to your NPC, enable the "Level 10 character" code. You will now be back to level 10. Level back up to level 12, then get your next stat increase. Repeat this as often as desired. Note: It seems necessary to load from the main menu before using the "Level 10 character" code, as the game seems to limit it to once per game.

Start an extreme game with previous items
This will start an extreme mode game with the items on a non-extreme save. First start a new extreme game and load the character you want. Then go to change players and start up a new player 2 character. After the 2nd player loads, remove player 1. Once that's done import the character that you just removed into the player 2 slot (A message about importing characters will pop up, just continue). When its done loading you should have the character loaded with all his/her items from that save. Next just remove the player 1 charater and you're done.

Easy experience
Before speaking to one of the experience ''sellers'' (example, the dwarf in the Purple Wyrm that will give the dwarf experience for gold), save your game. Speak to him, and ''buy'' the 2000, 4000, 8000, and 16000 exp quest reward. Save your game in a new slot, then load the first one, and import your character from the second one. Your character will have all the benefits of having gotten the quest reward, and will be able to get them all over again. Repeat as desired. A sufficient supply of gold is necessary for this glitch.

Make Lyran disappear!
Under Act 2 of the game, when you get to Lyran's Hold and find your way into his Private Study, Lyran will appear (as a Lich) and will follow and attack you. Normally, you'd want to avoid him and get down to the cellar ASAP. However, you don't need to!
Just run out of his study with him following, then Recall back to Baldur's Gate. When you Recall back again, he ain't there anymore! Now, you can toddle down to the cellar at your own pace.

Cheat Menu

During gameplay hold all of the following buttons:

L1, R1, Triangle, Circle, X and Square all at the same time.

Then hit the start button and you get a cheat menu that has options of either Invulnerability or Level Warp.

Level-up cheat.

The Level-up Cheat sets the level of your currently selected character to level 10, grants him 45 feat points and gives him 500,000 gold pieces. Check your tabs in the Character Statistics Screen to verify that you were successful in activating the cheat.

Hold all of the following buttons together during gameplay:

L1, R1, Triangle, Circle, X and Square all together.

Then hit the L2 button while still holding the other buttons to finish it off.

Get Extreme Mode

Finish the game using any difficulty

Unlock Drizzt Do'Urden

Finish the game using any difficulty

Unlock Artemis Enteri

Finish the game using Extreme difficulty

Beat the Game Without Killing the Boss and Get Drizzt/Artimis

Go to level wrap(L1,R1,triangle,O,X,square,and start) .Go to BLGATE3(Balder's Gate #3)Watch Randalla talk. After the credits start a new game and go to the cleric (character select) go one down for Drizzt, and go two down for Artimis. Start your game and you're Drizzt/Artimis.

Money Strategy

After u beat the game, start a new one.  at the first save point in town, load up the previous character u beat the game with.  so u and the other player are there as though u were playing multiplayer. save the game when u have him or her out.  drop every piece of equipment on he ground and pick it up with the weak person.  then load the strong character again and again till u put 176 runes in a amulet so 176 runes rubies and sapphires for example and it will be worth over 1,000,000 gold.  give it to the strong person save it once again, then drop it and then take it with the weaker person. load up the strong character again and give the stronger person the necklace so he has two so you get double every time. until u have enough to wear yourself and enough to sell for extra cash. so u can build better ones for the future

Two One Handed Weapons

To get two one handed weapons (this only works with close range weapons) press X to equip one in your right hand and press L1 to equip one in your left hand.

Inf Skill Points

To get Inf Skill points first you have to beat the game to unlock extreme mode. Then Start a new game in extreme mode mode and select the person you want the points to go to from your memory card, Then put in the level cheat (L1 + R1 +X+O+[]+ Triangle then press L2) to get the 45 points then use the points go to the save point save it then press start and go to "Exit to menu" and click yes, Start a new game again under extreme mode and you will have the points u already used. do the cheat again to get more points and you can do this as often as you like

All Spells and Feats

Put in the Level up cheat. Get as many spells and feats you can get. Go to a save point and save the game.  Quit out to the menu and then load the game again. Again put in the level up cheat. Keep doing this until you have all the feats and spells. Doing this and using the invulnerability will make you unstoppable.

Item Duplication

Go to a save point and save game. Drop desired items (or all of them) then import that same character and pick up you items! This can be done as many times as you want!

Extra Money

When in the town load a file with someone that has lots of money. With the player that has lots of money or any money go to the merchant and sell everything. Then delete that player and reimport that player again and repeat.
