God mode
While playing the game press square,up,triangle,left,right and down and you will have unlimited health

Ghosts:
When you see a ghost press L1 and X and they will pass you.

How To Get Past Prefects
Once you have got the Exspelliarmus spell, you can then use it to stop the prefects locomoto-morfis spell from hitting you which gives you time to run. This has to be done just before it hits you or it will not work.

Escape the guards:
When you are outside at night and you find you are about to get caught, try the Nimbus 2000 Broomstick. You will not get a penalty (no -housepoints), only saying go to your`s bedroom and then you are outside the castle. You can get the Nimbus 2000 when you win the first session of training of the broomstick game and you win.

Easy points:
In the Chamber Of Secrets, destroy paintings on the wall. You will open the painting and get 100 points for Gryffindor.

After returning from the Whomping Willow, head deep to your right when Professor Snape finishes scolding you. There, in a corner, you will find your first Notice Board Item. You can return it to the Notice Board before or after you go to the Restroom Shop the Weasley's set up, earning you the very first 10 points in the game, and possibly a Wizards Card.

Easy Sickles:
Once you have collected your Standard Book of Spells (Grade 2) in Diagon Alley, you can cast Flipendo to break barrels and uncover Sickles that you can use to buy items such as Stink Pellets at Gambol and Japes.

In Diagon Alley, there are three areas where you can break the barrels (using Flipendo) to get Sickles. Remember to revisit these areas several times to get more Sickles. They return three to four times after visiting a few shops.

Bertie Botts Bean Bag (100 Bean capacity):
Use the Skurge spell on a chest covered in ectoplasm behind a tapestry (you need the scissors spell) on the third floor, by the Defense against the Black Arts classroom.

Bertie Botts Bean Bag (200 Bean capacity):
Gather every item for the students around Hogwarts (not the Notice Board). You have to actually find the people. The final person will give you a key to the confiscated items room. In there are six Wizards cards and the biggest Bertie Bots Bean Bag.

Sneaking around at night:
When sneaking around at night, you need to get by many of the prefects. When you need to get by them, simply crawl under the bookcase to the left of the portrait that leads to the Griffondore common room. It leads through a secret passage that takes you to the fourth floor.

When sneaking around and you do not want to walk slowly, you can use various objects and spells to distract the prefects. Stink Pellets are not too reliable, but the non-explodable luminous balloons work well. As for spells, try Flapendo.

Avoiding ghosts:
When you do not want to be hit by ghosts and lose all your items (Balloons, Beans, and sometimes Stink Pellets) just stand on the ledge until the specter nears you. Tap the Analog-stick so that you will fall and catch the ledge. When you are hanging, they cannot hit you and cause your items to go flying.

Escaping the Slytherins:
When you are in the Slytherin common room and need to get out, hide behind the pillar on the right side and wait for the girl to pass. Next, go into the room on your left and stay behind the door. The girl will return and look around. She will not see you. After she walks away, run and jump to avoid being captured. As soon as you exit the room, go to your left. Once there, start running to the door to avoid being captured. This may take a few attempts, as there are many people waiting by the door. Run very fast instead of creeping there -- the Slytherins do not catch on very quickly that you are there.

Expelliarmus Challenge:
Use your spell that cuts down tapestries and ropes on the spiked ball. Walk up close to the edge and hold your trigger button (default R1), charge up for a half second and cast. Note: If you throw the imps into the fiery pits, they will die and you do not have to worry about them. Likewise, if you throw them all away you cannot put them into the cages to get out; but when all are indeed gone, they respawn from that hatch in the wall at the first ramp.

Professor Flitwick's Incedio Challenge:
Once you get the Incedio Spell, return to the main room and make sure the two pillars are down. Go into one of them and switch the flame direction so that the flames are both are on one side of the room. On the other side, use Incedio to light the pigs and Flapendo to point them up to lift the platform; then again on the other one. Run quickly to the switch by the exit. If successful the door, will be unlocked halfway. You will need to do likewise with the other side. Note: You do not have to charge at all -- this gives you a few extra needed seconds.

Fighting with Expelliarmus:
When in one of the few battles with Hogwart's students (just the Slytherin Gang, all others leave you alone), let them make the first shot and bounce it back. Just as you do, use your Flapendo with a quarter to half second charge to knock them back, thus trapping them with two spells to knock back, which they can never manage. Note: Beware, just as you finish casting Flapendo (depending on distance), you will be forced to use your Expelliarmus almost instantly.

Defeating the Giant Mother Spider:
To get to it, use your Lumos spell to light the floor and follow the trail of spiders. Unlike the book, the spiders that are not normal size will try to kill you. Attack them with Incendio. When fighting the Giant Mother Spider, do not try to hurt the spider itself. Instead, use your Incendio spell to burn the web it has attached to the various trees. When done, it will fall into the pit and you will slip in after it. In here, just run around until it rears its head and exposes its soft under-belly. It is the only part that is susceptible to second level magic. Note: It is best to not charge and use rapid firing to get a little extra damage.

Defeating the Giant Mother Spider 2:
While fighting it, you may notice little sacks being dropped and suspended by webbing. Shoot them down with Flapendo and collect health and Bean power ups from Hedwig.

Defeating the Giant Spider:
To defeat the Giant Spider in the Dark Forest, circle around him and cast Rictosempra. He will not shoot any spider webs at you.

Defeating the Whomping Willow:
When the Whomping Willow starts to pound into the ground, hide in the corner where you entered its lair. The shock wave cannot reach you in here, unless you stray too far from it. Should you get hit, you should have refilled your potion Vile before you entered. Also, Hedwig will drop Cauldron Cakes and Beans for your aid. Note: Rapid firing technique is recommended. Lock on to the limbs after they finish pounding and fire a quick shot, then wait to lock onto the Willow's Eye. Then, fire repeatedly until it stops hurting him before running back to your hiding hole.

How To defeat the basilisk
After tom riddle talks to you, you will be versing the basilisk. The basilisk is quite hard to beat so thats why i'm telling you how to defeat it. So this is how...

When the basilisk comes through the drain pipes, you use your sword to blast it. You will find the basilisk lays down, then shows its belly. There is a little mark which is a diamond with a dot in it on its belly. When you see this, that is when you blast it again.

The blast stays in the air whilst amost hitting the basilisk and you have to move it around with your analog stick or your arrow keys. When you hit the basilisk your sword will fly our of your hands. Then you must find your sword and keep repeating this blasting process untill the basilisk is defeated.

Easy Way to Get Past Prefects

1.Try not to run into them in the first place.
2.If they spot you, hit them with Flipendo a lot so they can't cast locamortamortiss.
3.After they spot you, and then they forget you were there, hid at a spott where they aren't are.
4.(Field only) If they spot you, Run!! cut cross or hid by hanging off ledges. they know your there but won't be able to get you if your hanging of the ledge. then get up (and us what I said in 2.) then...RUN FOR IT!!!!!!!

Beating the Monster on Professor Lockharts Challenge

When Professor Lockhart says to retrieve the
Explearimus book when you get it and have to tackle the statue monster only hit it back at him if he throws straight at you or then you have to move around all the time. Also if the monster does not throw it at you directly then move out of the way otherwise you will get hit and lose some of your life, giving you a badder chance of beating it.

Nimbus Two Thousand

How to get a nimbus two thousand once you have collected a lot of bertie botts every flavor beans give them to fred and george and they will tell you the password to a painting go to the painting and open it and inside there is a NIMBUS TWO THOUSAND   HAVE A GREAT RIDE.

Secret Passage Ways
 
Most of the secret passage ways are on the forth floor. Go to the second bookshelf and push. Then you will go into the passage way to the seventh floor. In Fred & Gorge Weasley's shop open all the toilet doors until you find the one with no toilet then go up to the wall and cast lomos and push [there is also a secret wizard card in there to open it cast scourge]

How to Get Massive Wizard Cards

YEAH- alright so you want massive wizard cards right? well... once you have your broomstick and you are able to fly around the school, go to the girl on the roof and keep on racing her with your broomstick for massive wizard cards but you have to pay her with every flavor beans but an easy way to get them is to go fly around on your broomstick and go through the rings you see floating around or you can go back inside the school and go to griffondors comen room and right in front on the right side of the painting is a pot and you can hit it three times and get three every flavor beans but you have to leave the room and go back in the room so...what are you waiting for GO!!!

Get Lods Of Bertie Botts

If you have 0 bertie botts go to the three bushes shaped liked stars and keep on bashing them with the FLIPENDO curse loads n loads of beans will come out, even if they stop coming out just keep on doing it .

Quicker Way to Get Berttie Botts Every Flavord Beans

To get a lot of beans first you must complete the child challenge (find the kids on the grounds and complete there challenges).  You also need a 100 bag of beans.  After you complete the last challenge the kid will give you the forbidden key.  go to the flying place and look for a bridge, after you cross it use the key to enter the gate and you will find 6 treasure chests.  5 will have a wizard card and one will have a 200 bean bag.  Go and use them, then if you ever need more go back to the room and the chest will be closed, open it and the beans will be back.  !!!!ALWAYS!!!!

Finding Lost Items

When you're looking for missing items nearly all the time it ends up by hagrids hut ps. when u find all the items for the people outside you will get a key from the last person and it will open a door opposite the flying lesson ground in their you will get a 200 bean bag and some cards (you can go back to the beans as many times as u want) use them to buy the aloha mora spell book and open chests for wizard cards galore.

Extra House Points

On the last day of the term, you can accumulate more house points by going to the message board in the Gryffindor Common Room and collecting all the items and returning them to the message board.  You will earn 10 points for each item returned and get a famous witches and wizards card.

you can easily deduct house points from Syltherin: When Herimone changes you into Goyle, go out and get caught by the Prefects.  It will automatically deduct 5 house points from Syltherin each time you get caught.

Get Past Percy Easier

When you go to Fred and George's shop at night while Percy is in the Reading Room, Press yourself against the outer part of the 1st bookcase you see. When you're sure that Percy isn't near that bookcase, and he's not looking your way, go to the next bookcase. Repeat until you're at the portrait. Give the password (Flibbertigibet) and go inside the shop. Buy everything you need to buy (Hint: Browse around to different places and you might find wizard cards laying on the ground that you can take for free), then go to the bathroom stalls. From the entrance, go to the right side of the room. Then turn toward the second stall from the wall and open it (X). This stall should be empty (If its not, then you're at the wrong stall). If you're at the right stall, go to the back of the stall and you should be able to push open the wall. You have now found a secret passageway (Note: There is a treasure chest in this passage that you can open with the "Skurge" spell if you are equipped with it. This chest contains a wizard card). Follow the passage to the end and you will see a crawl space. Crawl thru it(X) and you will be back in the Reading Room. Now Run as fast as you can back to the door leading to the Gryffindor Tower. You made it!.
VERY IMPORTANT: You can only use this passage to get out of Fred and George's shop. The wall only opens from one side, and that one side is from inside Fred and George's shop.

Defeating Aragog

Ok, when you stopped talking to Aragog (the giant spider) Try and find your way around Aragog's web, and when you see the web sticking to the tree, Use the Incedio spell to burn it. Once you have burned all the webs parts you'll fall into the huge hole and start to actually fight the Giant spider yourself :S. All you have to do is avoid him by RUNNING!! And when he starts yelling and lifts him self up use the Incedio spell (don't charge it if you don't you might have multiple hits) and the spider will yell keep doing this process until his health goes down

How to Find Potion Vial

Herbology green house is present near the quddicth ground .first come out of the main entrance hall then from the main door and come outside now find herbology greenhouse there. once u have entered herbology greenhouse u will find the main door closed .do not worry . see on the other side there would be a crawl space but it would be jammed by the horny creatures sitting there .hit flependo and then pick them up and throw them away .now crawl into it and find potion vial there. fill it

Decrease Slytherins Points

On the Polyjuice level when you turn into goyle allow yourself to be caught by prefects and slytherin will lose house points. This is a handy hint if slytherin are ahead of you on house points

How to get Expelliarmus

To get expelliarmus, first you need to beat the blugders.  To do that, just hit them with flippendo.(NOT WHEN THEY HAVE SPIKES!!!)  Then use diffendo on the ropes.  Put imps in all the cages. Get up on the wall and hit the fire breathing statues with flippendo.  Run while they're facing up.  Go through the door.  Press the 2 buttons and imps will come out.  This will also slow down the spinning spiky things.  Once you get the spell, a statue will come to life.  Just keep using expelliarmus until it explodes.

 

Beat Walking Bookcase & get Skurge

If you can't figure out how to beat the walking bookcase in the library on the quest to find Hogwarts: A History here's how.  Well at first you don't know what to do because there isn't a little life bar.  This is what you do, you have to use flipendo 4 times then dodge the books it is throwing at you.  After you hit it a certain # of times it will fall over.  Then you can move the block over to the standing bookcases and jump across them.  Watch out for banchee's and flying books.  When a book is on top of a bookcase u can't jump on it.  At the end of the line of bookcases you will get the spell skurge!

How to Get Potion for Nevile

First you must talk to Nevile by the Gryfindor common room. After Hermionie tells you to get potion you must go outside of the castle and there's a broom. You must get the broom and ride it to madames Sprouts hut go inside and theres a potion. Bring it to Hermionie and Nevile.  (you have done it)

Getting Out of Charms Class

If you get in that big gold room and you   have  the book you just want to get out then this will help you. (I was stuck on this part for a long time.) well there is one way if you are desperate and you just want to get out without getting any points and you won't get to play the game against ravenclaw
then pause it and look at your tasks and it will say push x to end day and push it and your done. but if you want to get points then light the torches by the stairs with incendeo and some doors will open and you will see fire crabs in it and you have to light these heads and try not to get hit from the fire crabs and when you light the head it will show you that the fire goes out on one side on the upper part then light the pig things on that side that you put out and then do flippendo on both of them when their lit and the platforms will rise then as quickly as you can run up the  stairs and get on the platform and then jump top the next and jump to the other side and push the button and part of the door will go up then do it on     the  other  side and the  door   will open  all  the way then walk threw it and climb up the stairs and the you will get at least forty  house points for gryfindor and the level is complete hope this hint helps you!!

How to win Duels

When you have to duel Malfoy, Crabbe or Goyle (not the statues!!), as soon as they fire a spell at you, quickly fire a Flipendo at them. They can't handle 2 at once!!! (note: sometimes they run out of the way!)

Beat the Basilisk

When the Basilisk first comes near you, move. When he has gone, pick up the sword. He goes through a pipe. When he has come back, hit him in the head, and he lifts his head up. Hit him in the jewel thingy. You lose the sword. Get it again and repeat until he is dead.

Silver Sickle Heaven

First get out of Mr Borgins Shop and go to Ginny and Mrs Weasly.after you get to flourish and blots where you purchase the standed book of spells G2 you then talk to Mrs weasly.You do not i repeat you do not do any of the tasks ginny asks you to do.
from flourish and blots go to the left and keep going untill you reach gringots. then turn right and you will see a large amount of barrels smash them all and you will either get 15 or 13 sickles.(cool huh?!)

Win Broomstick

On the second day of school it tells you to go to the Quidditch practice, so go there. Now. Complete the training and get a B or higher, and the captain guy gives you a free Nimbus 2000 flying broomstick! You can fly anywhere around the school, only in day-light. You can't land anywhere except where you took off from. (Note: You can't fly in the school!)



Unlimited Bertie Blotts Every flavour beans

Ok so when you get to Hogwarts you'll need Berty blotts every flavour beans. So collect as many as you can before goin to hogwarts. try to get 50 because you need it. When you get to Hogwarts buy the Beans Bag so it can hold 100 beans. When you go out of the gryffindor tower you'll see a thing in the corner. Hit it with Flipendo and 3 beans will come out. Hit it again and no beans will come out. Now go around the corner (3 steps after the corner) then come back. Hit the thing again and then 3 beans will come out. Repeat the process and then u will be able to get Alahamora ^_^

Another way of quick beans

When you get your Nimbus 2000 you can fly above hogwarts and go through rings. A blue ring is 10 beans a yellow ring is 1 bean and a red ring is 3 and a green ring is 2.

Quick Wizard Cards

You can find fast wizard cards in the Burrow and Diagon Ally. Look for chests. And a very fast way is doin Neville's games. Mostly Broom racing. It costs beans for Racing and Gnome Tossing but it doesn't for Gnome Dunking.

Beat Proffeser Quirrel

After you've gotten past Fluffy, The Devil's Snare, The Winged Keys, Beat the Giant Chess set and gotten Past the moving potions. When proffeser Quirrel is standing on the balcony go into the door and let him talk when he is finished talking enter the super jump code get the  four chocolate frogs and go into the next room.

beating level 2(getting out of blourish and botts

To get out of level two you must get the spell lumos and then go to the spot where you were you were hiding go until it gets dark then use "LUMOS" and push open the seceret door and fight the imp and then go and put them in their cages climb on one of the imp's cages and the up on the wall. Now go to the light and call for Hedwig. Now climb up the ladder and use your "LUMOS" to find the trap's in the floor and the go out the little door and when you get out go down the stairs and when you get down, there is a little gap between the boxs and the wall get close to the wall and walk along it that go down to the box grab it and pull it back, the push the button and go back to the stairs go through the opening push the button and go back to the first button that I told you about and go through the door and you just beat the level!!!



Extra treasure chests

After you learned the incendio spell, and you have got your nimbus 2000, go up in the sky, and the turn down. you will see a big open space in the middle of the castle. fly down to is then land on it. it should have all candles on it. light all of the candles with your incendio spell, and a treasure chest will appear with a famous witch or wizards card inside. you can do his numerous times on the roof of the castle! I have found 3 sets of chests on the roof in different spots. this code really works!!!!!!!

Unlimited Lives

In the chamber of secrets destroy paintings on the wall and you will open the painting and you get unlimited lives and 100 points for Gryffindor

Stop prefects from catching you!

message: If you walk into a room full of prefects, use a balloon to make them have a look. Meanwhile, RUN!! Another way is if they come near you, use a stink pellet. If you have expelliarmus, use it when the prefects use locomotomortis.
