Play With Either Side:
To gain the ability to play as either the Cao Cao or Lui Bei forces, simply finish the game. Then, at the main title screen, you will have the option to select either side when you choose New Game.

Select side:
Successfully complete the game with Lui Bei and Cao Cao. Select "New Game" and you will be able to choose which side to be played.

Extra difficulty settings:
Successfully complete the game with Liu Bei to the normal difficulty setting. Successfully complete the game with Cao Cao on the normal difficulty setting to unlock the expert difficulty setting.

How to Get Zhang Fei and Guan Yu 5 Special Moves:
During the first battle, the Battle of Xu (on expert level), have Guan Yu defeat Li
Dian and then go attack their storehouse, which is located just past the upcoming
bridge. You get lots of experiance when you destroy their supplies. After you do
that, have Liu Bei lose on purpose to Xiahou Yuan. Repeat this alternating Guan Yu
and Zhang Fei back and forth, until you get too strong so you cannot lose, even if
you try. (Note: When it is Zhang Fei's turn he defeats Yue Jin.)

Dynasty Warriors 4 reference:
During the FMV sequence where the two men are talking amongst themselves
about Cao Cao and Liu Bei, zhao yun is sitting there listening. Look behind him to
catch a glimpse of the character Gan Ning from Dynasty Warriors 4 going to sit
down. What makes this unique is that the Gan Ning in the game is totally different
looking.

Hidden battles:
Select either Liu Bei or Cao Cao, and successfully complete the game on the expert difficulty setting to unlock a hidden battle for each side. As Liu Bei, the hidden battle is The Battle of East Lau. As Cao Cao, the hidden battle is The Battle of Chang Zheng.

Secret Levels

If the difficulty setting is on normal or hard after you complete the Wei-Shu Conflict a secret level should appear depending on which side you are on. If you are on Shu it will be be The Battle of East Lau ,if Wei The battle of Chang Zheng.

Bases

When your on Lui Bei's team on the battle of xu after Guan Yu defeats LiDian there should be a bridge in front of him, tell him to go across the bridge and he should locate the enemy supply compound destroy it and all of the remaining enemy units morale shall seriously go down you can then send Guan Yu to attack Xiahou Yuan from behind. while this is happening if Zhang Fei defeats Yue Jin,Himiko shall appear behind Guan Yu.

Best Way to Use Magic

You should always cast the spell where the brightest red/green (when you play as Cao Cao) dots are. That way you will kill more and lower the enemies morale faster.

Play as the bad guy!!

Beat the game as Liu Bei and you get to play as Cao Cao. The game unfolds differently. For example: instead of helping the citizens farm, you force them to farm harder for you.

How to always win Duels and get new duels.

This is more of a tip than it is a cheat but to win duels always make sure your moral is higher than the enemies then challenge them and watch them cry and to get different duels (I'm not to sure about this) I think you pick normal or extreme for your difficulty and you sometimes get new duels.
