Archery development
Upgrade the archery skill first to be able to shoot two arrows at one time. This makes it easier to take out archers and weaker units.

Horse kick
When someone is behind you on horseback, press Circle to have your horse kick backwards. This can break the shields or enemies.

Cavalry campaign: Break open the gates easier
Use your charge to break it open.

Fight Saxon shieldmen:
Use the following trick to defeat the Saxon shieldmen in the last chapter. When using Arthur on foot, simply power attack a shieldman three times. He will be knocked to the ground. Finally, use your finishing attack. When using Lancelot on foot, use the X(2), Circle combo to destroy the shield. If the enemy does not die, attack him by pressing Circle. When using Bors on foot, always use the Knight's Wrath X(2), Circle combo. When using Tristan on foot, use Pagan's Head when using a bow or his X(2), Circle combo. When using Guinevere on foot, she moves very slow with melee attacks. Use Pagan's Head. When your characters are on a horse, simply concentrate on one enemy then try to run over him. That enemy will fall to the ground. Press L2 to use the finishing attack. Note: You can attack with your sword while doing your finishing move on a horse.

Defeating The Shaman
Equip Gwen with one healing item (such as Bloodring). Have Arthur kill any weak enemies. Then, have him go around the corner where he is safe and let The Shaman shoot a meteor. Remember to dodge. Finally, get behind the black circle and shoot. Because you are beyond his range, he cannot hit you. If he teleports, just let him shoot a meteor and continue from there.

Open Gates in Cavalry Campaign

Use charge to break it open easiest

Misson 1

This level is really simple you play as a roman commander or bishop Germans. The  one objective is defend the cart at all costs. my hint for this mission is stay with the cart don't go for the kills outside let them come to you the better health the cart  goes out with the more points you get for objective work. make sure no guy is hacking a the cart. about halfway through the level it will show the woads chopping down a tree it just means their coming over to fight they're not hard. another demo consists of them firing flaming arrows at you ..... stay with the cart you can't kill the archers so just focus on the guys you can and ignore the arrows. After a while you simply have to kill the remaining woads. then the cart will move through a small stone gap and.

Mission 2

Again this is quite simple your on a horse so use it against them. You have to break through some gates, so the strategy is run through the guys using your sword attack don't finish most of them the when you get to a gate use your front kick after killing a tad bit of woads if anyone come up behind you just use your back kick. go through the mission like this and your a real cavalryman!

Mission 3

Unfortunately this is not an easy  mission you play as Bors or Tristan just to help you choose if your a good melee warrior choose Bors if your an archer get tristan. The first phase you have to storm the field use your bow and go in like a swat just move around shooting at enemies guys will occasionally come up behind you so watch your back. the second phase the whole point is to keep the cart alive. Stay with your roman comrades they sometimes can lift the weight of multiple enemies off your shoulders just fight out the time until Bors is knocked into the creek. This is the hard part...... (much easier on co-op )quickly run back up the bank onto the level ground and keep running back where you jumped off your horses in the back. charge your bows at the me with shields until they hit your position. Wait till the bosses come to you....then finish them and the reaming woods and your done. MISSON 4: this level isn't much of a challenge if you stay focused just look up on the sides of the paths for traps some will take out enemies just move through killing on the bridges you will be surrounded just focus on one side and escape on to open ground.
