Expert survival mode
Beat the game in survival mode to unlock expert survival mode.

S1 Rune
Beat the first group of four levels in survival mode to unlock the S1 bonus. The S1 Rune helps your MP regenerate.

S2 Rune
Beat the second group of four levels in survival mode to unlock the S2 bonus. The S2 Rune helps you move faster.

S3 Rune
Beat the third group of four levels in survival mode to unlock the S3 bonus. The S3 Rune helps your HP regenerate.

S4 Rune
Beat the first group of four levels in expert survival mode to unlock the S4 bonus. The S4 Rune doubles your physical defense.

S5 Rune
Beat the second group of four levels in expert survival mode to unlock the S5 bonus. The S5 Rune doubles your physcial attack.

S6 Rune
Beat the third group of four levels in expert survival mode to unlock the S6 bonus. The S6 Rune gives you infinite MP.

M1 Rune
Beat the game on the easy difficulty setting to unlock the M1 Rune.

M2 Rune
Beat a versus mode match with four human players to unlock the M2 Rune.

M3 Rune
Beat the game on the normal difficulty setting to unlock the M3 bonus.

M4 Rune
Beat ten co-op matches to unlock the M4 Rune.

M5 Rune
Play twenty matches in multi-player versus mode that are not cooperative count to unlock the M5 Rune.

M6 Rune
Beat twenty co-op matches to unlock the M6 Rune.

M7 Rune
Play fifty matches in multi-player versus mode that are not cooperative count to unlock the M7 Rune.

M8 Rune
Beat story mode on the hard difficulty setting to unlock the M8 Rune.

M9 Rune
Beat the game with all four characters on any difficulty setting to unlock the M9 Rune.

Secret character#4: Clear all four survival stages with all four characters.

How to Get Past the Tower Force field

Attack walls that look weak and while on the roof attack any little blue orbs on the side.

Successfully complete advanced in survival mode



Get Kai

Successfully complete survival mode on the beginner difficulty setting  on hard mode

Get Raja

Successfully complete survival mode on intermediate

Get Capt. Dax

Successfully complete survival mode on easy

How to get the goka Rune

First you go to single player mode and pick
Tie or Naja(I picked Tie). Then start the stage look behind you and you will find a symbol, go to the right of the symbol then break that barrel thing mabobber. Then it will say that you have gotten the Goka Rune.

 

Special move

During Multiplayer mode, fill your magic guage and go near another player (COM or normal Player) which has a full flashing magic guage. Then a ! appears above your character. When you see this press the square button. You and the other player will unleash an increadible magic attack depending on the type (fire, lightning, wind or ice) of magic you and the other player has. Note: you must have precise timing, or you both(players) will end up only using the sword spell. 

Restore Magic

During gameplay, hold R1 and the Triangle button to slowly restore your magic depending on the guage capacity. It' a real live-saver!
