Super players

Cheat codes:
While playing, enter any of the following codes: awaygoal = gives away team a goal
homegoal gives home team a goal
zambo brings the Zamboni out on the ice during the game
spots = shows the pre-game spotlights
penalty = brings a penalty to the team without the puck
injury = cause and injury
victory = fireworks
flash = camera flashes from crowd
check = auto check on contact with opposing player
grab = auto stick hold on contact with opposing player
mantil = gives players elongated arms, legs, and necks
nhlkids = makes players smaller

Super players:
For super players just go to player management then create
player and enter in a name of a player that is rated 99. ie. Joe
Sakic. It will then ask if you want to use his ratings say yes.
to work you have to go to his ratings first and put them how you
like them. Then you can go back and change his name. You have to
be careful because if you change something important like his
playing type it will reset his points. Also you can put in the
name of one of the guys in the credits and you will get their
ratings but most are not very good.

Announcer says names for created players:
If you use a name that is firly common, for example, Andy, then
the announcers in the game will say "Andy, picks up the puck..."
or "Andy Scores!" when you make a play or score a goal. They
actually use your name.

EA Sports Team:
To get the "EA Sports" team start an exhibition game and press
L2 and R2 repeatedly.(This code only works in exhibition)

Free player for your team:
Turn on wavers. This will allow you to drop players from any one
team and add them to any other team.

Cheering after goal

After you score a goal, press triangle to hear a laughing guy.

Pre-made players

Type in the name of one of the programmers like Chris Deas and the player will be made already!

Get The Dude

Create a player with the name Bruce Willis.  He will be called the Dude during the game

Amazing Created Players

To get an amazing player here is what you do.
Go to Create player and for the name put in either Peter Forsberg, Pavel Bure, or John Leclair. Set there attributes to whatever you want but don't change some stuff(Like there playing type or position). After go back to Edit player and change their there name to whatever you want.

Extra Custom Teams

At title screan press and hold L2,R2,then PRESS right left square up circle x then down. then go to custon teams and there will be hartford whalers and the winnipeg jets.



Get EA Sports Team

In exhibition mode during play press L2 + R2

Super Stats

Create a player with the name Joe Sakic. Keep the stats and return to the previous screen and change the name if you want. Also you can use the names Peter Forsberg, Sandis Ozolinsh, Patrick Roy and Bruce Willis

Laugh at goalie:

After you score, press the triangle button, and your player will laugh at the goalie or brag.

Super goalie:
Enter the create-a-player screen and enter "Patrick Roy" as a name. Answer "Yes" to use his
ratings, then set the following attributes to get an overall rating of 97:

Speed: 99
Poke Check: 99
Puck Cover: 99
5 Hole: 99
Def. Awareness: 99
Off. Awareness: 99
Speed: 99
Recovery: 99
Agility: 99
Glove Left: 99
Glove Right: 99
Stick Right: 65

Get the #99 in suit

In player management, create a player and enter the name Wayne Gretzky and when you are done go to the jersey number and you will be able to use his number, but you can't change his name or it will put the number to 98.  After you set the number, go to stats and set them the way you like them.

Get Expansion Teams

Beat Stanley Cup on All Star difficulty.

Super Players

Go into rosters, player management, and create a player.  Once there,type in the name of a player who already has 99 or something in the 90's overall.  It will tell you that there is already a player with this name, and if you would like to create a player like him,
go for yes and then you can change his name and the stats the way you like them, but don't change his type of playing or anything else that is important or it will change his stats back to regular.

Unlimited Goals

First, start up the game and go to any type of game (except for shootout).  Then, when you've started the hockey game, pause it, and go down to the "controllers" option.  Move your controller to the opposing team, and then go up to "Goalies", and toggle to "Pull".  Then unpause the game, wait for about 5 seconds, and then pause the game agian, go down to "controllers", and switch your controller back to your team, and continue.  After that, the opponent's net will be empty for the rest of the game and you will be able to score as much as you want!

Unlimited Timeouts

Press start after a whistle, enter the strategies screen and select "timeout". Immediatley press trangle, enter screen again, and immediatly press X. This can be repeated until your line is full.



Stacked Team

Go to the create player menu type in the name of any original player in the game (The best one you can think of) it will ask you a question answer yes. The player will have the same numbers as the original. Then you trade for better players or just stack your team without trades.

To Obtain Any Player

Ok, When you are in a season and you want to trade players but the computer wont trade all you have to do is go to ==
Step 1 Go to rosters
Step 2 go to player management
step 3 go to create player
step 4 type the exact name of who you want
step 5 if you typed there name correctly a screen will pop up saying this player is already in the data base, bla bla bla would you like to create him anyways , pick yes and put him on ur team........usually use players like Jagr,Karia,Foresberg,Sakic ect. have fun with ur all star team
