Type the word: STRUDL in the cheat menu to get unlimited webbing

'What If' Contest results

Here are the different things I have found using the 'what if contest' code. I'm sure there are more, its just that some are hard to find! By the way, if you are not sure of the code, its GBHSRSPM. Have fun!


Get to the bank- "NEVERSOFT" will appear on one of the buildings.

Bank approach-  Uato, the watcher appears you can talk to Johnny Storm on the fantastic four building.

Stop the bomb!- the words "Hans was here" will appear in the safe.

Race to the Bugle- ghost rider will ride down the big building on the opening FMV.

Catch Venom- the video of chasing venom through the building will be different: it will be like a fitness center.

Spidey Vs. Venom- if venom slimes you, spidey will laugh and say it tickles.

Venom's puzzle- the usual waterfalls will be replaced with lava.

Spidey vs. Venom, again!- Mary Jane will say "turn off the switch you idiot!!"

Bugle’s basement- when you meet up with the impostor spidey, the camera will pan out like in the matrix.

Spidey vs. Mysterio- a fish will swim around in mysterio's head!!

Waterfront warehouse- symbiotes will come out of generators 2 at a time.

Underwater trench- a yellow submarine will appear on the left, and will shout out to race you.

Stopping the fog- when you meet up with black cat she will be dancing to music, and also the caps to the fog tunnels will be bananas (note: when you close the ports you will see them)

Spidey vs. Doc Ock- he will appear tiny and yell "I am mini ock!" and the walls will be painted with flowers and a picture of a man named DR. LOVE.

Spidey vs. Carnage- he will have the voice of a baby and if you look closely outside, you will see the sub-mariner with his staff watching the fight.

Race to the bugle- (besides ghost rider) if you wait, you will hear a game of marco polo between scorpion and jameson. At one point spidey will yell, “fish out of water”.

Subway- venom will say pop quiz, and ask you a question.

Hidden switches- in the end, after turning on all of the switches, instead of walking into darkness you’ll walk through bright green light. (like the watcher said, some differences are VERY small)

Tunnel crawl- marks on the wall will tell you where the water level ends while you are climbing on the ceiling.

Building top chase- at the beginning the guy in the chopper will start singing.

spidey vs. scorpion: when breaking thru the door, scorpion will yell heres johnny!

police chopper chase: after you swing across the first few buildings there will be an orange blimp. swing to it and there will be a secret level. (silver surfer rides by at the beginning)

Sewage plant- when you run to the big vat of water, you'll see a duck floating around, and when you shoot the switch, it gets sucked underneath  (NOTE: you should put it in normal or hard mode because in easy mode, you cant approach it without having a cinema and then you wont be able to see the duck)



Easy way to beat Rhino

When you start to fight Rhino,don't fight him by punching and kicking him because you will lose. There will be 4 little electric posts and a lot of barrels, stand by one of the electric posts and face Rhino, and when he starts to charge, wait until the last minute and jump foward. If you do this right, he will run into the post, and he will get a real SHOCKER. Do this for each post and you won't have to lay a finger on him. Keep on doing this until his strength runs out. The barrels work also but it doesn't take a lot of health out of Rhino.

Spider-Armor forever

First either use the captain universe suit or put in invincibility and find spidey armor.

Jack O' Lantern Hideout (Also reported as being Green Goblin's Hideout)

On the third leg of the police chase level, if you web-sling over to the first sky crane you come to, then you'll notice an opening on top. Go in and there you'll find Jack O' Lantern's hideout, as well as, spidey armor and a comic cover.

Secret Costumes

For the Scarlet Spider costume that Ben Reilly wore briefly beat the Rhino on easy mode (this costume has no extra super powers.)
I think you can get the Ben Reilly costume by doing the same thing (no extra super powers)
if not you'll have by the time you completed easy mode.
You can get the Black Symbiote costume with infinite webbing by beating Monster-Ock on easy mode.

Spidey Surprise!

This isn't really a code but it is still pretty entertaining. at the cheats menu, type in your favorite cuss word and spidey will come and attack the word, turning it into some kind of nice word:

PRETTY, FLUFFY, SODA POP, LOVE, NICE, SUGAR, BALLOON, CLOUD, HONEY, CAKE, DONUT, BUNNY, TAFFY and LOBSTER are some of the words i found...im sure there are more, but thats all i could see so far. Have fun, but dont get in trouble!!  =)

Police Chopper Chase

When you get to the part in this level where you start climbing up the building while the Police Chopper is fireing at you there is a Captain America billboard.To get to see it you go to the part of the climbing where it says checkpoint.Once you get there just climb all the way to the right side of the building as you can go and just climb a little bit up and you will see it.

Bank Approach

When you start this level you will see a short building in front of you and a taller building to the right of that shorter building.Look at the taller building.Torwds the bottom of the building there is a opening.Swing to that building and go into the opening.When you get into the opening there is a extra web thing that you can get.

Spidey gettin' his groove on!

First, you must go to the Cheats, input GBHSRSPM(What if contest) and get to the level "Stop the Bomb".  When you get to the room which unlocks all of the offices, beat the two guys that come in.  Then go into the office next to the room your in.  You should see a big tile on the floor.  If you get Spider Man to walk on it, he'll start to dance!!  It's funny and entertaining!!

Secret Costumes

Captain Universe - complete the game on hard.
Peter parker - in item collection find the hidden kraven room peter will be inside speak to him then you have his costume.
Quick change spidey - get 10,000 pionts in zip-line training.
Spidey 2099 - get all comics (when got them spidey says Golden.)

Kill Scorpion without touching him

To kill Scorpion without touching him, pick up the furniture (flower pots, table, chairs etc) and throw them at him, the bigger the item the more damage it does.

See black cat dancin'

Play on 'what if' and when you first see the cat captured near the end of the game in dr. octuposis place, she will be dancing and there will be music.

Easy way to kill those troublesome symbiotes!

To kill those troublesome symbiotes on the basement of the bugle level, first, either input the invincibility cheat code (RUSTCRST) or use the CAPTAIN UNIVERSE costume.  Then when a symbiote comes toward you, simply walk into a furnace and the symbiote will follow you in! Do this near a symbiote generater and watch em' all burn!



Kill Carnage Easily

When you fight Carnage in the dome-shaped room, watch his movements. You will notice that he always goes around the sonic-bubble. In the beginning of the level, Spidey says that the Symbiotes are weakened mostly by fire  and sonic-bubbles. He also mentions that Doc Ock must have put it there in case Carnage ever betrayed him. So what you should do (not that you have to) is grab Carnage by pressing circle and triangle, and then when you have a good hold on him press circle. Spidey kicks Carnage, sending him flying into the bubble. Carnage screams, and his health decreases alot. Do this for three or four times and Carnage will die. The only advice I can give you for fighting Monster-Ock is stay ahead of him, and try to maintain a good speed. It is well worth the ending FMV.

Kill Rhino

The easiest way to kill rhino is not to try and jump over him but too do this at the start when rhino gets stuck in the wall simply move behind and slightly to the side of one of the far most generators when he see's you he will begin to stamp his feet as he does this he is committed to charging and you simply step behind the generator and he will crash in to it then move too the next generator and repeat he will hit all 4 generators twice then die. If this does something in the game for destroying all the generators I don't know if anyone finds out please let me know.

Location Of Comic Books

Location of all 32 comics...

1 Bank Approach:
Book 1 can be found on the top level of the fantastic four building.

2 Hostage Situation:
Book 2 can be found under the chair in the cubicle. The cubicle is located on the second half of the level.

3 Stop the Bomb!:
To get book 3 return to the hallway just prior to the first security door, after freeing the hostages.

4 Race to the Bugle:
Book 4 can be collected beside the big building after the game cuts to the FMA of the two henchmen.

5 Spidey Vs. Scorpion:
Book 5 will reveal itself after you destroy all the furniture in the room.

6 Police Chopper Chase:
Book 6 is behind the box on the right-front on the last building.

7 Building Top Chase:
Book 7 is located inside the Goblin Crane Lair.

8 Scale The Girders:
Book 8 can be found on the left side of the building on the ledge.

9 Police Evaded:
Book 9 is in the building with the skylights that get destroyed. To get the book shoot the broken glass. It'll be located behind the glass.

10 Spidey Vs. Rhino:
Book 10 can be found after destroying every barrel in the level. You can find the comic in the middle of the Electric Pylons.

11 Catch Venom:
Book 11 is located on the Incomplete building.

12 Catch Venom:
Book 12 is locate on the roof of one of the buildings.

13 Spidey Vs. Venom:
Book 13 is under the car. Lift the car and toss it away. The comic will appear.

14 Sewer Entrance:
Book 14 is located inside the first hallway. Walk to the Cavern and then return.

15 Sewer Cavern:
Book 15 can be found behind the waterfall.

16 Sewer Plant:
Book 16 can be found by walking down the hallway and turn left, walk to the end.

17 Hidden Switches:
Book17 can be revealed by pressing the fourth switch and return to the third switch.

18 Tunnel Crawl:
Book 18 can be found by hitting the switch on the first box, and the comic will be in the second box.

19 The Lizard's Maze:
To get book 19 talk to the lizard.

20 Symbiotes Infest Bugle:
Book 20 is located in the vent with the Hostage.

21 Elevator Descent:
To get book 21 walk down the Hallway, it'll be at the bottom-left.

22 Stop the Presses:
To get book 22 lift and throw the stack of paper located on the second half of the level.

23 Bugle's Basement:
Book 23 can be found by shooting all four leaking pipes.

24 Spidey Vs. Mysterio:
Book 24 can be found by destroying all of the target on the first stage, the comic will become visible on the bottom level.

25 Waterfront Warehouse:
Book 25 is hidden in the alcove.

26 Waterfront Warehouse:
Book 26 is located at the end of the level, just prior to opening the vent that leads to the next level, you must locate the hidden room behind the grating. It's the last grating before the end of the level.

27 Underwater Trench:
Book 27 can be found in the second machinery room you'll find a hidden switch. Return to the part where all of the gun turrets are (at the beginning of the level) and access the secret door.

28 Stopping The Fog:
Book 28 is in the center column, a small room will be located in the bottom portion.

29 Spidey Vs. Doc Ock:
To get book 29 be ready , it'll appear after Doc Ock's shield regenerates the first time. It'll only appear for a few seconds, so grab it quick.

30 Spidey Vs. Carnage:
Book 30 is located in the middle of the bubble it'll appear and disappear and then appear and then disappear.

31 Spidey Vs. Monster-Ock:
Book 31 can be found at the first bend in the pipe.

32 Spidey Vs. Monster-Ock:
Book 32 can be found about 3/4 of the way through the level.
