Alternate Costumes

Alternate Costumes
At the character select screen, hold L + R + C when you select your character. To play as Picky in orange armor, hold L + R + X while selecting him.
Beans Teleport
When fighting with bean press DOWN twice then press A + B + C.
Clean Pause
To get rid of the pause menu, press X, Y, Z. This is very helpful when taking screen shots.
Choose your Opponent in Practice Mode
If you get at least 500 approved moves in the practise mode, you can replace your practice opponent from the Extra Options screen.
Impale your Opponent on the Wall
It's a little tricky to get off during a match, but the effect is still cool while practicing by yourself. Make your opponent stand one step away from the wall by tapping forward twice. Make sure that they have minimal life. Then, hit them into the air, like with Candy's kick with K+D or Jeffry's uppercut with Back+K+P+D. It impales them on the top of the wall.
Level Select in Survival Mode
To activate this option, you must defeat a certain number of opponents in Survival Mode. The number is somewhere between 21-28.

NOTE: You must disable all cheats or this trick won't work.

No Damage
Fight 500 rounds to add a "No Damage" selection to the Options Plus menu.
Play as Niku (Meatloaf)
To play as Niku you must first turn on the Saturn 30 times with the Fighters Megamix game loaded (playing counts). This only needs to be done once. Now put the cursor on Kumachan and press X. Niku's moves are identical to Kamuchan's.
Remove your Armor
To remove your own armour in normal mode (as opposed to hyper mode) use the following move: f, b, f, b+P+K+G. This move is very tricky to work at first because the timing is delicate, but the effect is worth it.
Training Mode Music Stuff
You can turn off the music in training mode by pressing start to the moves list and press B, there should be silenece. Press L or R to turn the music back on. To change the song playing in training mode, press start to the moves list and press L to select a before the one you are listening to or R to select a track ahead of the track you are listening to.
Play as the Palm Tree
To fight as a palm tree, play the game for 84 hours. Now go to Kumachan and press Z. You'll be the Palm tree from the AM2 logo.

Alternatively: turn on the Saturn 30 times with Megamix inside to make Mr. Meat (Niku) selectable. Select Mr. Meat by placing the cursor on Kumachan and pressing X, then play course "I".

Hyper Mode
To access Hyper Mode, beat 11 targets in Survival Mode or beat all course with the same character.
Mini Game
Delete all your Fighters MegaMix save data. Now beat course A-H but not I. Then place O.K. marks on 1200 moves in training. Now go to course I and press L. You'll enter a screen full of question marks. The object is to find the two matching pictures. Beat it once to get a picture of Janet. Beat it again to get a picture of Janet without armour.
Play as School Girl Honey
Beat course A. Then put the cursor on Candy and press X to be red, or Z to be blue.
Play as Kids Akira and Kids Sarah
Clear course B and Akira and Sarah from VF: Kids will be selectable
Play as Janet
To play as Janet from Virtua Cop 2, beat the Girls course (D) in one-player mode.
Play as Rent-a-hero
To play as Rent-a-Hero clear course F.
Play as UraBahn
To play as Urabahn clear course C.
Play as Deku
To play as Deku clear course G
Play as Siba
To play as Siba clear course H.
Play as Hornet
To play as Hornet clear course I.
Play as Bean and Bark
To play as Bean and Bark from the Sonic the Hedgehog series, beat the Muscle course (E) in 1-player mode.
Play as Pandachan
Highlight Kumachan and press C.
Hidden option: Ring select and health meter length
To unlock ring select and health meter length play 500 matches.
Hidden options: Ending BGM, BGM on/off, Bookeeping mode, and Portraits
To unlock these options clear any course. The more course you beat, the more Ending BGM and Portraits you unlock.
Hidden option: Hyper Mode
Play survival mode and beat five opponents in 3 min., 7 in 7 min., and 10 in 15 min.
Hidden option: Training enemy
Clear course I.

Beans Teleport
