want to shoot.
How to
finish mission 1 in Montana
Get as close as you can to a whitetail deer and use your deer scent (You
can get it at the store where you get your equipment for your hunt. You
should get a pump shotgun and shoot a deer from less than 50 feet. Have
fun hunting!
Short
Distance Kills
When you get to one of the many missions where you are told to kill a
buck or doe (either one) from like 50 yards or shorter...Well, to do
this all you have to do is get in your vehicle (if possible) and drive
past the deer to make it run in the direction you are driving. When you
get far enough ahead you get out of your vehicle and patiently wait for
the deer to arrive to your position...then well you shoot it!!!
Sometimes the deer (depending on the deer) will turn around but usually
they don't start doing that until around mission 11 or 12.
Mission 17
When you get to Mission 17 you have to bag a doe scoring more the 85 and
a buck from 200 yards. The best way to do this is get the rattling
antlers and some kind of deer scent. The doe is pretty easy to get but
the buck is much more difficult. The best way I have found is be sure
you have the range finder, go up on the side of a hill as high as you
can get. Use the range finder to make sure you have a good shot at 200
or more yards. Start calling and using the deer scent. It does not take
too long to call a buck into the opening for your shot. The best weapon
I have found for this mission is the 280 rifle and the Hawkeye scope use
x-ray mode for the shot. When you sight in the gun use the outdoor
range. You can sight it in for longer shots, you can sight it in at 75
yards there. When you take the shot at the buck you have to aim a little
high. It should drop and hit the buck. It takes patients because you
only get one shot and he runs. If you miss start calling again and he
will come back. Good Luck and Good Hunting.
X-ray vision
To get x-ray vision you have go to career mode and complete the first
season. Then after you complete the season a screen will appear, and you
will be having an awards ceremony. you will get a card to the hunt club
and 15% off all merchandise. Then it'll say you can now use x-ray
vision. But the bad part is, you cant use it in contest mode or
challenge mode.
