Unlockable Modes And Items

Unlockable Modes And Items
@CRAZY - Clear the game to unlock Crazy difficulty. Use as profile name.

@TREVOR - Clear the game to play Trevor Belmont. Use as profile name.

Moebius Brooch - Clear the game on Crazy difficulty to unlock this item in the shit face.

Boss Rush Mode - Clear the game and defeat the optional bosses to unlock this mode in the warp rooms.

Sound Test - Clear Boss Rush to unlock. Go to a warp room to find the music box item which will allow access to the sound test.

Hint: XP Monopoly
In the Forest of Jigramunt at the starting point head East. Once you have cleared the Vassago Lv.25 and two Sniper Orc Lv.24, the Spirit Lv.19 enemy will continually respawn in pairs. They drop a ton of Evo Crystals if you kill them with one blow. Use the Brooch item to give all the experience to your I.D. This is an easy way to see all of the forms of the I.D. and to level up the ones you'll use the most.
 
Hint - Optional Boss Pain
In order to reach the optional bosses -- Legion and Nuculais -- you first must obtain the fifth Innocent Devil (Devil Type). With this, head back to Garibaldi Temple and slide under the crack in the wall back near the area with the four courtyards and Fencers. Proceed through the hallways, avoiding the Blood Bones and eventually you'll be in a hallway that is living. Save before you enter the boss area and make sure you're at least at level 50 or expect a tough fight.
 
Easter Egg - Musical Chairs
As you may of noticed, throughout the game there are various chairs you must sit in. If you happen to sit in them all, the room inside Cordova Town (the one that is pretty colorful with blue cloudy skies twirly around while little wierd rabbit/bug creatures are flying around with a target sign on their gut) will obtain a special chair in the center, though it really doesn't do anything for you, it's a nice little extra quest that you can do.

Sound Mode
After beating Boss Rush Mode, the music box should appear in the warp room. With this item, you should be able to access the Sound Mode Option to play various music from the game.

Moai Statue.
Have a Lament of Innocence save file on your Memory Card.

Boss Rush Mode.
Enter a warp room after beating the game.

Crazy Mode
After beating the game once, if you start a new game and put @CRAZY as your name, you will start the game at a higher difficulty setting.

Trevor Mode
After beating the game once, if you start a new game and put @TREVOR as your name, you'll start the game as Trevor Belmont.

Moebius Brooch
Once you beat Crazy Mode, the Moebius Brooch will be available in the shop. Equipping this item allows you to do special moves without using hearts.

Hint: Fast ID LVL and Easy Cash

In Mortvia Aqueducts there is a room very early on, right before changing floors, that has several Soldier Skeletons that spawn in it. Each of these are very easily killed and drop tons of evolution crystals. The room can be respawned by zoning upstairs and then back down immediately. The Soldier Skeletons drop Steel which can be forged into Lamellar and sold for decent gold. I got my bird ID from LVL1 Crow to LVL25 Crimson in less than half an hour, and made over 10k.
