Drive pace car

Drive pace car
Complete Championship mode to unlock a new pace car in Arcade or High Speed mode.

Completion    Car
1st           Toyota Celica       
2nd           BMW M3
3rd           Acura NSX
4th           Toyota T100
Disable opponent
Rear-end your opponent's car in Championship mode. The wing will break and your competitor will be unable to reach maximum speed without first making a pit stop.

(Note: Enable the "No Collision" option, to keep the damage to your car at a minimum.)

Bonus camera angle
Complete Championship mode, finishing first in every race to unlock an overhead camera view similar to Micro Machines.
Drive as S. Hattori
Complete Championship mode to unlock the bonus Japanese driver.
Invariant weather
Hold L + R + Up at the transmission selection screen in Arcade mode. Continue to hold buttons down until the game begins.
Super Speed mode
Complete Championship mode. The game will remove 20 of the 25 cars (and mirrors in cockpit view) to boost the frame rate to 60fps.
Rainy weather
Hold L + R + Down at the transmission selection screen in Arcade mode. Continue to hold buttons down until the game begins.

Super Speed Mode

Complete Campioship Mode to unlock Super Speed Mode.  In this mode you can race with 5 other drivers and take corners at high speeds.

Rainy Weather

Immediately after selecting a track in arcade
mode, hold L+R+Down on the D-pad until  the screen fades in. When the race begins, the weather will be rainy.

Play as a Pace Car

To play as the accura pace car be first in the championchip mode. Also when you beat the championchip you also get SUPER SPEED MODE.
Drive as S. Hattori

Complete Championship mode once to ulock a bonus Japanese driver that is not ranked in the CART-Season or with a team.

Rainy weather
At the transmission selection screen in arcade mode, hold L + R + Down. Continue to hold the buttons until the track completes loading.


Weather never changes

At the transmission selection screen in arcade mode, hold L + R + Up. Continue to hold the buttons until the track completes loading.

Drive as S. Hattori
Complete championship mode once to unlock a bonus Japanese driver that is not ranked in the CART-Season or with a Team.

Super Speed mode
Complete championship mode once. Super Speed mode will remove mirrors in the cockpit view and twenty cars to increase the frame rate to 60 fps.

Bonus camera angle
Complete championship mode once to unlock a far top view camera angle that resembles the game Micro Machines.

Disable opponents in Championship mode
To disable an opponent in championship mode, just ram the back of his car. If done correctly, his car's back wing will break and he'll be unable to go fast until he reaches his pit stop. You must have the no collision damage option for this to work. Otherwise your car will suffer heavy damage.

Play as Pace Car
For every time you complete championship mode a new pace car will become available to race in ARCADE mode or High Speed mode.
