Unlockables

First you must go to the weather institute, the guy that gave you Castform. Talk to him and he will say that there is a heavy rainfall or a heavy drought.-The rainfall is Kyogre and the drought is Groudon (how obvious).-He will allso say on wich route to find them. You must have the mach bike, surf and waterfall with you. Good luck for catchin them!!!

Beat the Elite 4. Proffessor Birch will visit you and give it to you once you leave your house.

There are certain pokemon that can only be caught when you trigger certain events, like castform.

As you accomplish more along your journey, your Trainer Card will change colors and rise in rank, depending on completing certain tasks. After completing one task, it will rise in one rank, but there are some tasks that cannot be completed until beating the Elite Four. You must do these tasks:

-Become Pokemon league Champion
-Complete the Hoenn Pokedex
-Collect all the gold symbols in the Battle Frontier
-Win one ribbon in all five of the Master Rank Pokemon Contests.

Capture all 386 pokemon in your pokedex. Then go to the hotel in Lilycove City and talk to the Game Designer.

Talk to Scott in his house in the Battle Frontier, he'll give you certain decorations/berries depending on your accomplishments in the Battle Frontier.

You can encounter special trainers, such as Pike Queen Lucy, in facilities of the Battle Frontier. Beat them to earn Symbols for your Frontier Pass. The last trainer will be the brain. For example, you beat the Pike once. You're in the 13th room. A woman will tell you the Pike Queen is coming. Go in any room to battle.

To unlock mystery gift, go to a pokemon mart and press A on the piece of paper on the counter. Then insert the words LINK TOGETHER WITH ALL. Press select to easily find the words. After this the store lady will talk to you and tell you that mystery gift is now unlocked.

Once you unlock battle fontier go to the fossil manick (the town above lavaridge) the fossil friek would have dug the cave keep looking and u will finally find a ditto and other kanto pokemon

First you have to get Mossdeep Town. Then before you battle the gym leader go to the Space Station and you will have to double battle and then when your done I don,t remember which one but talk to one of the people there he will say flight 1 has taken off then come back later if your lucky he will let you get on a rocket and it will take too the moon and then look until you find jarachi.

First get a wailord and a relicanth. Go to the sealed chamber near the sky pillar and use dig at the braile right on top. then go to the next braile right on top and put wailord first in your party and relicanth last in your party then press A at the brail. You will then hear rumbling and 3 doors opening. The easiest to catch is regirock which took me 2 ultra balls. regice and registeel are equally hard. it took me 94 ultraballs for registeel and 83 for regice because i made it sleep. To open regice's door, go to the middle of the braile and run around the cave once, against the walls (the door will not open if you walk). For regirock, go to the middle of the braile and go left twice and down twice then use rocksmash. For registeel, got to the middle of the cave and use flash. Stock up on ultra balls before catching them. Good luck!

Hints, Tips & Tricks

To get to the Battle Frontier, you must defeat the Elite Four with Pokemon only with your I.D. number. After you defeat them, you will get a ticket from your father to get to the Battle Frontier. The Battle Frontier is another region with fourteen more badges to collect. Additionally, there are seven gyms in the Battle Frontier. The seven gyms are the Battle Tube, Battle Dome, Battle Factory, Battle Arena, Battle Palace, Battle Pyramid, and Battle Tower. Each gym has two badges to collect.

After you defeat the Elite Four, go to your house and watch the television downstairs. After you watch it, your mom will ask you what color the Pokemon is. If you say Red, you will find Latias. If you say Blue, it will be Latios.

Pay 500 to go to the Safari Zone. Go to a grass patch. Stay in the patch and don't walk. Just press the arrow buttons softly like a 90 degree angle and you might catch a rare pokemon without wasting your 500 steps.

Torchick is the best starter because it will help you the most on the elite four.these are the best moves:

blaze kick
fire punch
double kick
return

blaze kick and fire punch will help kill glacia's and phoebe's pokemon. Double kick will kill sidney's and glacia's pokemon. Return won't help much eccept for drake's pokemon (no other attacks will do much damage).

When you complete the full 202 Pokemon of Hoenn, Professor Birch will call you on your Pokenav and say that he wants to give you a surprise. You can now choose one of the three Johto starters (Chikorita, Cyndaquil, or Totodile).

Get an Arco bike from Rydel and go to any area where there are wild pokemon. Bunny hop on the spot and pokemon will appear. This is a very good technique especially for the Safari Zone.

To get the Magma Symbol (which is required to get to the Team Magma Base), you must go to Mt. Pyre after you defeat Team Aqua in the cove next to Lilycove City.

You can find Mew at World Edge's Island. It will play hide and seek with you. After you found Mew, he will attack you. He will be at Level 30 so be prepared.

Immediately after you defeat the Elite Four, you will go to Professor Birch. He will give the National Dex to you.

Pichu may learn an extremely powerful attack after meeting certain criteria. The attack is called "Volt Tackle". It has a Base Attack Power of 120, accuracy of 100, and 15 PP. The only negative side is that the user takes 1/3 of the given damage.In order to get Volt Tackle on your Pichu, you first need one Female Pikachu holding the Light Ball item. You may then use one of the following to breed with Pikachu: Ditto, Male Raichu, or Male Pikachu. No other Pokemon will work.After finishing the breeding process, hatch the Egg, and inside will be your lovely little Pichu with the Volt Tackle attack! This may be transferred to Pikachu or Raichu if you wish.

Get a pokemon to level 100 and then start a new game then you will get the rarest pokemon.

After catching 60 Pokemon and beating the Elite 4 at least one time go back to Littleroot Town and talk to Prof. Birch. He will give you the National Dex (your pokedex upgrade), and he will allow you to choose from either Totodile, Chikorita, or Cyndaquil (the three original starters from the Gold, Silver, and Crystal Versions).

The Safari Zone is the same as the one in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. The only difference is that after you defeat the Elite Four, two more areas appear full of Johto Pokemon that you could not get in any other games (besides Pokemon Colosseum).

To get both fossils you will need to beat the elite 4 and then go to the desert. every now and again mirage tower will be there. if its there go in it and go to the top floor there will be two fossils choose one and then the tower will collapse. next go to the fossil maniacs house and he will have finished digging the tunnel. go to the end of the tunnel and there will be the fossil you didnt get at mirage tower.

note: you will need the mach bike

To get to Team Magmas base you got to go to Mt.Pyre and go to the top of the mountain and battle team aqua grunts after that Team Aqua will steal the two orbs, you talk to the old lady and guy and they'll give you a Magma Emblam. After that go to Lavridge Town where the 4th gym leader is. You go in the place where that guy is going up and down.When you get in it your screen will shake and something will break and it will be a cave, go in it and fight all the Team Magma grunts. After that go where there leader is (Maxie) you'll see him and talk to him he will be looking at Groudon and use a blue orb on him Groudon will fly away because Maxie didn't use the Red ord. After that you have to battle Maxie but be sure to say your game before talking to him and battling him. Be sure to have strong pokemon so you don't lose, and be sure to have a Escape Rope so you can get out of the cave faster. Go back to Lilycove Town and go in the Team Aqua cave the two grunts that were blocking the way they will go away. Now you have to get a chance to get the master ball so you don't have hard time catching Rayquaza,Groudon, and Kyogre.

Catch all 202 pokemon in your pokedex. Then go to the hotel in Lilycove City and talk to the Game Designer.

Mix records with a Ruby or Sapphire that has an Eon ticket, and Emerald will get the Eon Ticket. Use it at the SS Tidal to go to Southern Island, after the E4. You'll find a forest area that has an egg in the middle. Press A at the egg to find the Lati@s you did not choose. ex. If you said you saw a Blue Pokemon on the TV(Latios) you will encounter Latias, and vice versa.

You can go to Altering Cave after you beat the Elite Four. It is located on Route 103.

First things first...first catch a lotad(i caught mine at route 102) There is 3 ways 2 do the next part.

1. Get an exp.share and put it on ur weak lotad then get a stronger pokemon,go to the elite 4 and off u go until u evolve it into a lombre.(fight)

2. Go to ur players home town where there is some grass on top(north)and train it...(takes a long time)

3. And 3 put ur lotad first in ur party and as soon as u start the battle switch to ur strong pokemon and lotad will get 1/2 of the exp.

Ok... then when u have ur lombre go to the big ocean lake thingy right above sootpoolis and dive down into a spot where the water is dark.Get a blue shard whitch will be hiding inside rocks or under the dirt.(this might take a while but its worth it)go to the little house on the ocean then exchange ur blue sharde for a water stone. u can use ur water stone right away or u can wait till ur a highr level. i got mine 2 lvl 50 then i did it.

When you first explore the battle frontier, go to the BATTLE PALACE, and go to the southwest corner. SURF to the other side, and you will first see a little old lady. continue down the path south of the lady until you notice a strange tree that moves when you press A. This is a sudowoodo, origianlly found in the GSC versions. To battle it, use the WAILMER PAIL on it. You have only one chance to catch it, so don't screw it up. After that, you can SURF on the water that the Sudowoodo was blocking. SURF down the WATERFALL, and keep surfing left (there are no fish or anything in the water, so don't bother.)

After a while, you will surf to a cave known as the ARTISTAN CAVE. Go inside, and as you explore the cave, you will find many stat items in the boulders (carbos, etc.) The only pokemon in this cave is SMEARGLE. (hence, the ARTISTAN cave.) The SMEARGLE are generally level 41 to 50. They can only use sketch once before they start struggling.

Simply put a pokemon with the ability Flame Body or Magma Armor on your team to cut the amount of steps needed to hatch an egg in half.

In Emerald, there is only ONE way to get Espeon or Umbreon, what you do is first, you trade over an Eevee from FireRed/LeafGreen, then make it love you (Berrys.. Having it not faint, Etc) then, train it one level up during the day (The clock in your room MUST be between 12:00 AM and 11:59 AM) and the Eevee will evolve into Umbreon, train it one level up during night (The clock in your room MUST be between 12:00 PM and 11:59 PM) and the Eevee will evolve into Espeon.

After beating the Elite Four, a new part of Meteor Falls opens up. It is in the northwestern corner where you found Iron Tail. A new cave was made and you'll find Steven in it. His Pokemon are in the high 70's.

If you have a pokemon with the Magnet Pull ability in front of your party, it increases the chances of finding wild steel-type Pokemon. This is very useful for finding rare steel types, such as Mawile.

If you have a poke'mon with lightningrod as an ability, you will get calls from registered trainers more often.

If you have a poke'mon with synchronize as an ability, you will encounter more poke'mon with the same nature as the poke'mon with sychronize. Note that the poke'mon with this ability must be in the front of your party.

If a poke'mon in your party has suction cups/sticky hold as an ability, then you will have an easier time fishing for wild poke'mon.

Just put the weak pokemon in the first slot. When a battle starts just switch out that pokemon right away. After the battle the pokemon will recieve half of the exp. points.

Buy exactly 10 Pokeballs at the Poke Mart. You get 1 Premier Ball free.

In one of the treehouses in Fortree City is a man with a Wingull. Talk to the Wingull, and it will fly off out of the treehouse. When you get to Mossdeep City, you will see a person with a Wingull. Talk to it and it will fly off as well. Then go back to Fortree City and into the treehouse where you talked to the first Wingull. Talk to the man next to the Wingull, and he will give you the Mental Herb, and item which is a hold item that prevents attraction on the Pokemon that is holding it.

This is a helpfull virus in the game. This virus can improve all of your stat points when you grow levels. If your pokemon has pokerus and it's in your party it will spread to your other pokemon. But these effects are temporary unless you put the infected pokemon in your PC. In order to get it, you need A LOT of luck. You need to find a wild pokemon with pokerus. You will know it has pokerus because it will be it's status condition. After you catch it, to make sure it really has pokerus go to any pokemon center and the nurse will say that it is infected with pokerus.

Mirage Island is an invisble Island located on Route 130. Most of the time it will be invisible but on rare cases, the island will be visible. To find out if the island is there or not, go to Pacifidlog Town and talk to the old man in the bottom right house looking out the window. He will tell you wheter the island is there or not. The cause is unknown so a bit of luck is needed to find it. On the island you will find the rare Leichi Berry that powers up your Pokemon's attack in battle when it gets weak. In the grass, you will only find Wild Wynauts.

After you defeat the Elite Four, go to your house and watch the television downstairs. After you watch it, your mom will ask you what color the Pokemon is. If you say Red, you will find Latias. If you say Blue, it will be Latios.

Every time you encounter a pokemon you have a 1/8192 chance of the pokemon being a different color, this is called a shiny pokemon

To get the other Lati (Latios or Latias), Mix Records with a Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire game that used the Eon Ticket. You can then get to a hidden island via the SS Tidal where you can find the Lati you didn't choose.

Have a Pokemon use CUT to remove grass where wild Pokemon live. It will remove the chance of encountering wild Pokemon. The grass will regrow once you leave the area or enter a building.

To do this you need an Everstone. To get one, search in Granite Cave for a lone rock on top of a plateau. Once you get an Everstone, let the a Ditto or a female Pokemon that you are breeding hold on to it. Once you receive and hatch the eggs, the offspring will have a 50% chance of inheriting the Nature from the Pokemon holding the Everstone.

First set groundon free from MT Chimney and Kyrog from the sea floor chamber go to Sootpolas go to the gym in the centre of the city. Talk to Steven there he will take you to the cave of orgim go in and talk to the gym leader he will ask you where Raquewaza is. Tell him it is in the sky pillar and he will immediately rush off. Then leave the cave and fly to Pasciefilog. Surf East until you see an opening in the rocks. Go inside and you will find a cave. Go inside and you will see the sky pillar. Go to the top and you will find Raquewaza. Raquewaza will fly off when you get there. Leave and fly back to Sootpolas and you will see Raquewaza stop groundon and Kairog. After that just go back to the sky pillar and you will be able to catch Raquewaza now.

First get the master ball from team aquas base then go find groudon and kyogre and they will have a big fight in sootpolis city go and talk to steven and follow him to a cave in the cave theres this guy talk to him and tell him skypillar then go out of cave and fly to that town that floats on water surf over to the left of the town and find crack in rock surf up throuth there find cave and go through and there will be a big tower [skypillar] climb up and on the top floor youll find rayquaza walk up to him and he will fly off fly sootpolis city and then go back to skypillar go up to top and fight rayquaza[level 70] catchhim with master ball and use him aganst the elite four[you can catch him with ultra balls to but it is easyer to use mb].

First you need to get a relicanth and a wailord.then you need to go to the sealed chamber and use dive in front of the white writing on the wall go up tp the farthest wall and use dig while relicanth in front and wailord last then go up to the farthest wall press a and it will say it sounds like three doors opened somewhere in the distance. Go to where the three berrys are growing inbetween fortree and lilycove then go to this rock fomation and have wailord then use dig by the side faceing toward you then go in to the middle and use flash the door will open go in save before you battle and have alot of ultra balls ps have a blaziken with double kick usethat once lv 40 through 43 any higher youll kill it. good luck catching.

In rustboro there is a girl in a house just north of the pokemoncenter who is depressed. her dad is trying to cheer her up you continue giving her words to laugh at and she doesn't laugh.

If you go to http://www.filb.de/games/emerald/word.php?lang=2 and follow the instructions they will give you a code to give the dad and he will give you the box background you create on the website.

During the battledome, all u have to do is have one of the lati's and ur starter, which should b ur best pokemon. Next, select those pokemon 2 go into battle. Make sure ur starter as damage moves with at least 70+ power, and that the lati knows dragon claw, psychic, thunder, and anothr move of ur choice. Then, all u have 2 do is use the rite moves and wala!! u have beaten the battledome like a million times!!

Feebas is the rarest pokemon in the game so i'll tell u how to get it. Feebas can only be found in the river on route 119 by fishing with the super rod. The thing is that it ONLY can be caught on 6 different tiles of the river( the whole game is made up of tiles. Example= u and all the other people in the game take up one tile each). The problem with that is that the location of these 6 tiles is random but their location changes each time u change the trendy phrase in Dewford town ( a dude outside the town hall wants to know about what the new trend is back on the main island of Hoenn so tell him a trendy 2 word phrase). Since u cant determine the location of the tiles you have to fish for a few minutes at a time on each tile of the river until u hook a Feebas. This is time consuming but its worth it cause its evolve form Milotic kicks @$$ in the pokemon contests.(To get Milotic u have to max out Feebas's beauty condition and get it up a level) This is the only way to nab a Feebas. Trust me on this, i have every pokemon strategy guide ever made and a couple of Milotic of my own and they rule. Happy hunting.

Pokerus is an effect that multiplies your pokemon's exp. points. However, it's only temporary.After you beat the Aqua Grunt in Rusturf tunnel, make sure you've caught every pokemon available so far, then check the last pokemon you caught.It should have Pokerus. The disease will spread to your other party Pokemon.Talk to the nurse in Rustboro's Pokemon Center to make sure it's there for a while and not just there for one battle.Pokerus leaves around the time where your pokemon don't really need it. Also, it stays where your pokemon's status problem is, so if a status problem appears in its place, it's NOT gone!

In Dewford Town, change the trendy saying to HASSLE HEART. Then, fly to Fortree City and go to the waterfall. Use Waterfall to scale it, then go onto the land. Go all the way up to the top without going up the steps. Turn right, then use Surf. Once Surfing, do not move. The top land tile should be behind you & you should be able to see the top of the 1st Acro Bike rail, which should have the top part at the top of the screen.Use the Old Rod(still facing right). On the tile right in front of your character's face, you can find a Feebas. They are in the 20's and should only know Tackle and Splash.

First time win:
Ribbon & if you have 6 or more hearts, you can have a great painting of your pokemon.

Second win and up:
Luxury Ball and great painting of pokemon if it has 6+ hearts.

This cheat really works. Gold poke'blocks increase every contest stat. eg. beauty, toughness and smartness. It raises them heaps. This cheat will take time. Anyway when you beat the elite four and when your in your bedroom the T.V might be on. Click A on it and see what the news says. If it says the Berry Master is coming to Lilycove to mix berries in: (whatever days) Go their when it has been that amount of days and he should be their. Mix berries with him and if you get heaps of perfects you will make a GOLD POKEBLOCK. Anyway, if the T.V doesnt say that the berry master is coming and another event is happening do the elite four until it does say. Note: keeps collecting berries that way you can make heaps.

First get a DITTO and put it in the daycare centre with a pokemon u want to copy (WONT WORK WITH LEGENDARY'S!!) then go and walk (going on a bike is better) until the man that was by the fince steps forwood and gives u the egg of the copied pokemon go and walk a while and it will hatch with the pokemon inside.

To hatch eggs fast you need to find a sandy slope. When you get to the slope attempt to walk up it, you'll notice that u will fall back down. Plug ur system into the charger and place something on the a button so you are going up-down-up-down on the slope. Leave your system for about 3 hours and when you get back walk away from the slope and your egg will very soon hatch.

If you want some cash, go to these spots:

Go north at Mauville city, then search where you can rock smash. Go up and you see a reporter. Fight them and you get some cash.

Still in Mauville, go east and surf at the sea. Go to another land. you see a reporter. Fight them.

Go to Fortee city, go east until you leave fortee city. You see a reporter. Fight them too.

You can do it as much as you can until it's enough. NOTE: After you fight them,go to a house with TV near the reporter place, and continue to next step.

To get a skitty you need a pokemon that knows sweetcent. Then go to rusterboro city and west from the city. Then use sweet cent and one will pop out in about 12 or 25 times.

This is like other methods but is slightly better, have Graveller or someone who knows explosion in your party, put the pokemon you want to raise in your first slot in your party, go into a battle and your first pokemon will appear, switch out your weezing or graveller or whoever knows explosion and then use it, when you knock out the opponent you will faint too, the first pokemon will get all of the exp points instead of half of them, explosin is the strongest move in the game, it does 250 damage, but it halves the opponets defence so it does 500 damage.

Secrets

To get a skitty,you need a oddish or a illumise. Then, go west of rustboro city and use sweetcent try it 12 or 16 times and if it past that move to a different spot. [pretty soon one will pop out.]

you can steal a dragon scale(using thief or convert)from some wild bagons you can encounter these pokemon inside meteor falls after you ride up the waterfall.

The question no one ever thinks of:Is Smeargle strong because of "Sketch?" The answer:No. Smeargle is totally weak! Its stats are very low. Don't get one in Artisan(Get it?) Cave!!

To get a sun stone, go to meteor falls and either catch a Solrock or use thief on it. It may have a sun stone or go to Mossdeep city in the space center and talk to one of the people inside.

1. Go to battle fornter battle tower.
2. Get rare candys (or whatever like nugget)
3. Give pokemon whatever that are in the box(any or more than 1 box)
4. Save at the pc.
5. Get the stuff back.
6. Go to mullti link battle.
7. Enter 50.lv or higer.
8. "will you like to save" a time of nothing.
9. "will you save" with game play info a, b start and select or turn off.
10. Go to the pc move items and get the stuff.

You can find Mew at World Edge's Island. It will play hide and seek with you. After you found Mew, he will attack you. He will be at Level 30 so get ready to catch him!

Glitches

1st, you need to have up to 5 pokemon to be cloned. Go to the Battle Tower & deposit them into the pc, then exit the pc and save. Withdraw all the pokemon to be cloned and go to the link multi-battle person and talk. Choose open level, then choose 2 pokemon. She will say something. Choose OK. there will be a pause, then she will ask if you want to save. Choose no, then turn the game off and back on. NOTE: THE IN-GAME RESET(Select + Start + B + A) WILL NOT WORK! When the game finishes starting, you should have the originals in your party and the clones in the box. Very useful for getting: more 1-off items, like the Master Ball and TMs, without trading; berries, especially if your internal battery is dry; more money; more pokemon available to trade, so you can complete the Hoenn Dex and get a Jhoto Starter!

Just in case you're wondering what 1-off means, I'll tell you. It means there is only 1 of it available in the game w/o cloning or trading.

First unlock the battle frontier. Then go to the battle tower. Deposit the pokemon that you want to clone in box 5. Then save the game and withdraw all your pokemon you want to clone. Talk to the lady on the far right. Enter any two pokemon. After she will ask you to save the game. you will notice a pause when you choose to save the game. During the pause hold the A + B + Select button to reset. You will have the pokemon you cloned in your box and in your pokemon inventory. Happy cloning.

Go to the pc @ the battle tower and save. Deposit the pokemon you want cloned. (up to 5) log out of the pc and save. Withdraw the pokemon you depsited and go to the link multi battle lady. When it says 'do you wish to over write data' turn off the system. Check your pokemon party, the pokemon that you wan should be there and in the pc.

Have the Battle Frontier unlocked(Beat the pokemon league.) Go to the battle tower. Make sure you have the pokemon you want to clone in your party. Go to the computer and deposit up to 5 pokemon you want to clone(they can be holding items such as masterballs and rare candies.) After depositing the pokemon get out of the computer and save. Once you have saved go back in the computer and withdraw the pokemon. Now go talk to the Link Battle Lady adn she will ask you if you want to join. Say these things "Open Level" and enter 2 pokemon. Now she will say you have to save your game, say yes then there will be a big time gap and a thing will pop up asking "would you like to save your game?" Say no and turn off your game. You will now have cloned your pokemon.

When you,re about to go to the Team Aqua Hideout Underwater try getting to the entrance as close as possible without entering the cave then dive up and you'll be suprised that you are walking on water i used my bike before. NOTE: Might take a couple of tries.
