Grow Chao Stats

Get your chao a friend to increase it's stats in the following areas: Flying: Birds, Running: Rabbits, deer, wallabies, Strength: Lions, gorillas, elephants, Swimming: Beavers, seals, penguins

Unlock Mission Mode

Finish Adventure Mode using all characters then look for Mission Mode on the main menu

Unlock Sonic

collect 20 emblems

Unlock Sonic Drift

Collect 40 emblems

Unlock Sonic Chaos

Collect 60 emblems

Unlock Sonic Spinball

Beat the game with all of the characters, turn the game off and then back on and you should see a gold ? mark and Super Sonic below it.

 Black Chao

In egg carrier prison, with Amy or gamma, open the second  prison then take the black egg to chao garden and let it hatch.

Get Over 400 Coins{4ups}

Go to Emerald coast and collect EVERY coin you should get 400 coins in no time! On mission mode get the mission where you have to destroy the blue things do the light speed attack{1st you have to go by the bridge to get the attack} Sonic will do circles then get that balloon!!! When you play with Knuckles with the digging claws keep pressing A&B at the same time he'll dig deeper!

Laser Gun

You must be the robot and go to the egg carrier go to the place where u put the code eggman on the the door. Turn to the door on the left side and go in and go down to the floor there will be something shiny get it its the LASER GUN

Chao Races

If you're having trouble figuring out what to do on Chao races its simple. On the left side of the screen there are numbers 1-8. Your Chao should be number 1 if you are doing any race except Party Races. around it you have a blue spiral circle. You have unlimited stamina. All you have to do is keep pressing the 'A' button repeatedly. Soon your Chao will get a power boost. To get a super boost, you have to keep pressing A even after your Chao has shot out sparkly things. Every level up on stamina you get it will take less A button taps for your Chao to boost. A good way to get stamina up is to force feed you Chao. I prefer mushrooms because they give more points. ( Buy them at the Black Market .) It may take awhile but its worth it!

Three VERY valuable Chao eggs

These chao are so valuable, that if you erase the Chao memory, you won't get them back.
The Silver egg is in the Mystic Ruins. Push that huge stone near the waterfall and watch for a silver egg float to the shore. (Eggshell cost: 125 rings)
The Gold egg is in Station Square and is not for sale in the antique shop. Go to the inside of the city hall gate and find an egg-like stone. take the stone to the shop, put it down, pick up the egg, put the stone in it's place, and take off with the golden egg.
(Eggshell cost: 250 rings)
The Black egg is aboard the Egg carrier. (you have to be either Amy, or Big) Go to the right of the three doors on the inside. If you are Amy, Whack the switch with the hammer. If you are Big, Jump on the switch. In the Jail cell go to the center one. hit the switch, and make off with the Black egg inside of the cell.
(Eggshell cost: 500 rings)

Get Fighting Gloves For Knuckles

To get fighting gloves with knuckles go to the mystic ruins with knuckles. then go to the mine cart next to the huge lake. jump in the mine cart and you will see a HUGE forest on the right side of the canopy you will see a tall tree with no leaves on it. fly over to it and climb on to the top. then look on the right and there will be a path to walk on. get to the end there will be the fighting gloves.

Fighting the Egg Viper

To beat Dr. Eggman [as Sonic] you have to get to him. [duh] He is very very very hard.  First you have to dodge his lasers.  When he pops up and comes out of the black hole, you do a double jump.  When you do that again, he gets a giant laser - just do not be in the middle of the laser.  Once he comes back up you have to wait until you see a few little green circles.  Keep doing double jumps until you get to Dr. Eggman.  Each time he comes up, wait until you see the green circles, then jump on the green circles until you get close enough to hit Dr. Eggman.  The fourth time you hit him, he shoots the little lasers, then he goes to the side of the platform and he shoots lasers until he gets close enough to hit Sonic.  When you go to the side, he shoots the laser to the side so do it quick.   The fifth time you hit him, he goes to the side of the platform again, but this time he shoots little discs that have spikes on the edge.  Move as far away from Dr. Eggman as possible and when he shoots the disc you have to try and jump on the disc.  If you do jump on the disc, the disc takes you back to where Dr. Eggman is.  Once you get close enough to hit him, do a double jump to hit Dr. Eggman.  This will reduce his life level and put Sonic back on the platform.  Repeat these steps until his life level is zero.  Dr. Eggman then catches fire and he destroys the platforms so be careful not to be in the middle of a platform.  Once Dr. Eggman destroys all the platforms but the one you're standing on, he just blows up & you have beat the game.

Get Crystal Ring Easily

As Sonic go near the door that opens to the crystal ring and start a spin dash (hold B).  If your lucky, 1 of the light balls will hit the switch inside, opening the door right in front of you.  (It may take a few tries!!) 

Jet Shoes For Tails

When playing as tails go behind twinkle park and you'll see water and a gate go inside the gate and follow the path and at the end of the path on the ceiling you'll
see a square opening fly through
the opening look around in the room and you'll see a glowing thing and go to it and you'll get the jet boots! (note: the jet boots will make tails fly faster.)

How To Get the Grey/Silver Stone

message: go to the mystic ruins. when your in front of the mystic ruin [the very tall stone building where you meet tikal in the past] and go to your right until you get to an opening and go turn right again. you will get to a grassy tunnel thing. you will see a broken stone with soil in it. dig there twice and you will hear that tinkle sound. the grey stone will appear

How to See Cream

OK this really isn't a cheat but its a cool thing i noticed while playing. After you beat the Casino level with sonic are knuckles use the c stick to look in the sky and u should see Cream fly by

Twinkle Park shortcut (Sonic).

Make sure you have a lot of lives. After the coaster DO NOT go down the hole, instead, switch to free camera (If its on, keep it that way) and jump off on a platform. u may not see it but its there. jump to the pool, hop out and you'll see a triple spring thingy. do homing attack and keep free camera on till you get up there. you'll be near the checkpoint. when u get to the castle roof, jump around the gate and use homing attack on the spring and you'll be home free.

Amy's Warrior  Feather and Long Hammer

To get Amy's Warrior Feather go to the Egg Carrier. The first time your on there you will be in a prison cell, leave the cell and you will be in a room where you play, 'Hedgehog Hammer.' Get 2,000 or more points to get the Warrior Feather.
Before you try to get the 'Long Hammer' you must beat Hot Shelter. After you do so you will get to go play the game again! This time you need 3,000 points to win! (When playing 'Hedgehog Hammer' try not to hit the Eggman doll, just hit the Sonic and Super Sonic doll.)

Gold Chao

To get a golden chao you have to go right of the burger shop. Then you'll see a wall with  space in the middle which you can go through go to the left when your inside and you will see a  stone. Pick up the stone and bring it to the antique shop. Put the stone down and pick up the egg on the orange button. Then put the stone on the same place the egg was you should be able to take the egg to the Choa garden and hatch it.

Needed:Gamboy advanced and hookup to gamecube

First get an item like a apple to put on your chaos head.Put it on your chao and put your chao in to the gameboy. a chao will be in the gameboy and one in the real garden. take the apple of the chao`s head in the real garden(this is done by jumping on your chao).take the chao out of your game boy and you will have one apple on the ground and one on your chao.sell the one on the floor and repeat again and again.(you can also buy other items that cost 6000 and they will sell for more coins).

Silver Egg/Chao

Go to Mystic Ruins (Any character besides E-102 Gamma) and jump down in to the big lake where the waterfall is. Then there will be a EGG behind the waterfall how do you get it? SIMPLE! There's a switch that looks like a old car (its in the lake area) push it in and the egg will drop It will slowly drift toward land. Grab it and go back to chao garden and hatch it.

Control Tails while playing as Sonic.

If you have to controllers hooked in and Tails is following you around grab the second controller and play you can play as Tails.

Unlock Metal Sonic

To unlock Metal Sonic (from Sonic CD and SA2B 2 player mode) You need to get all 130 Emblems with everyone, including the chao and adventure field ones.

Lower light speed charging time with sonic

In the hotel go up stairs. There are 2 buttons. Press one to make a trail of rings. Charge up then press the other. A door will open then start to close. light speed dash over and enter the door before it closes to make it faster to charge up the light speed dash.

Secret Emblems

1. You have to be Tails to do this. Go left of the antique shop untill you reach a wall. Jump over it and you will end up in a grassy area. Keep doing your tail spin attack around that area and eventually an emblem will appear.
2. You can be any character except for E-102
when doing this one ( I preferred Knuckles ). Go to the mystic ruins, then left of the lake you will see a mine cart. Jump into it and it'll take you to a BIG jungle. On the right side of the canopy, you will see a large tree with no leaves. Get to that area and you'll see a house-ish-type-thing. Then jump on the branches untill you reach the top of the log. In it is another emblem!! YAY!
3. Be either tails or Knuckles to do this. Go to the Mystic Ruins and go to tails' workshop on the opposite side of the runway you'll see a cliff, with and emblem sitting on it. Fly over there and get it. ( duh )

Other Hidden Emblems

1. In the casino alley of station square, fly all the way up to the top(with tails) and you should see and emblem.
2. In the Egg Carrier go to the Captains room click the button and go to both of the nearby doors, and there will be an emblem in both.

How to get Sonic  Labyrinth

Collect 100 emblems to get Sonic Labyrinth

kiss as amy
to kiss any sonic characters, beat amy's story once. go to station square with her and sonic will appear next to her. press the z button to kiss romantically.

Unlock GameGear Games
Get a Sonic emblem or finish ten missions. The 'minigame' option will be added to the main menu.

Chao flying
To help your chao fly, give it a bird.

Chao Running
To help your chao run, give it a deer animal, a rabbit or a wallaby.

Chao strength
To increase your chao's strength, give it any of the following animals: elephant, gorilla, lion.

Chao swimming
To improve your chao's swimming ability, give it any of the following animals: seal, penguin, beaver.
