How to use Henry

How to use Henry
Beat the game on any difficulty and at the ending credits save your game. You should then be able to use Henry he has a gun and a sword. His mission is to save 6 children in 7 days. It's tough.
The order of graveyard switches
In the graveyard pull the switches in this order: The Master, Mary, Henry, then the unreadable gravestone
Play as Reinhardt
To play as Reinhardt, save at least one child on the Henry mini game.
How to save Henry
If you are having trouble with saving Henry go to the gate you first went through to get the Rose Garden Key and wait till Henry is right behind you. Then open the door and there you go.
Get The Crest half A in second stage
First, you must have activated the ledge that is brought up by the correct order of the switches. Also, be sure to have the rose garden key. Use a sun card if it is not morning out, then go to the rose garden and you should see a red rose in the center area with white roses, press the grab button and you will recieve the Thorn key. Take the key to maze garden, and go to the locked fence. Open it and get the rose. Once you have the rose, be sure to take it the top of the water fountain, and place it in there. You will then obtain the half crest A.
Hidden Villa Items
When in the Villa (inside the castle) you notice a chandeleer hanging from the ceiling. Climb the stairs, face it, and use your long distance attack. After about 3 hits it will shatter revealing chicken, a cure ampoule, gold, and a red jewel.
Locations of the 6 children
Child 1: The first Child is located down some platforms near the switches to raise the hidden footholds, after decending shoot the wall and follow the path

Child 2: The second Child is in the tower with no floor when you enter the castle gate when you get to the 4 rotating spiked platforms there is a ledge with the child in the center

Child 3: The third Child is in the hedgemaze near the area you needed the rose broach to open, there is an alcove with the child

Child 4: The forth Child is in the caves, after getting off the blue platform go over the pits to the right, at the end should be a moon door with the child in it (NOTE: to exit the cave defeat the spider queen located to the right after exiting the room with the child)

Child 5: On the outer wall after riding the first platform up you are under a small decorative overhang, if you jump to the edge jutting out from the arch you will be right next to the child (NOTE: As before you must defeat the harpie at the end of the level in order to procede to the next level)

Child 6: Procede through the underground waterway as best you can, avoiding the falling floors, keep turning right and you will go up some stairs and cross a broken bridge look for an alcove to the left of the bridge and jump to it, you are at the last child.

Hint: Boss Shortcut
When you get to the first gate after the Giant Skeleton, go through it and you'll reach a place with two platforms that you can raise and lower. Go to the second platform switch and climb down the wall behind it. Once at the bottom, smash the wall to uncover a hidden shortcut tunnel that leads to the boss before going through the castle gates!

Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness

Access Henry

Complete the game using Cornell then save after the credits. When you load the saved game you will be able to play as Henry.


Access Reinhardt

Complete the game using Henry then save after the credits. When you load the saved game you will be able to play as Reinhardt.

Secret Characters

Collect the specials to get secret characters
they are reinhart, carrie, and henry(a soldger with a big revoler pistol!)

New outfit for Cornell

Use Henry to rescue 2 children to get a new outfit for Cornell

Fight Renon

During the course of play spend at least 30,000 gold buying stuff to be able to fight Renon

Harder Difficulty Setting

Use Henry to rescue 3 children then save the game. When you reload it you will have access to the new harder difficulty setting

How to get Carrie

To get Carrie, you have to get 4 children with Henry, run the time out, watch the credits, and save the game. It should now say
You have Carrie. You have the HARD difficulty.
You have Reinhardt. You can use Reinhardt's second costume.

Lost Children

Here they are all 6 of them Henry had to find: Bess on ledge in center column in left tower of Castle wall, Edward in Underground Waterway in wall recess near broken archway, Florence on ledge near gargoyle at Outer Wall, Clark in cove in Villa Garden near Center of Maze, Diana in Far Moon Room upper level in Underground Tunnel, Anthony on ledge in Forest of Silence and Pics of all the children with Henry at game ending.

Play as Henry:
Successfully complete the game as Cornell and save the game after the credits. Load the saved game to play as Henry. Henry must save seven children within seven days.

Play as Reinhardt:
Successfully complete the game as Henry to play as Reinhardt from Castlevania 64.

Alternate costumes:
Rescue two children as Henry to unlock an alternate costume for Cornell.

Hard difficulty setting:
Rescue three children as Henry, and complete and save the game. Start a new game using the saved game file to access the hard difficulty setting.

Fight against Renon:
Spend over 30,000 gold buying items during the game to fight against Renon the winged demon.

Getting a checking from Frank:
Knock down Frank when fighting him in the Villa. Most of the time, this will result in a chicken, and an easy way of getting food when needed.
