The lowdown on castor island
I have heard of the elusive "castor island and tried it out myself and wonders beseech wonders it is there but you can not land on it. the way to get there is you put on the dodo cheat and on the cochrane dam u put the turret facing backwards toward you and shoot to maintain altitude and fly over the side of the dam with the highest water and sure enough it is there but u can not land on it only look. and the tank handles like a drunken monkey it barrel rolls toward the ground really fast if you turn fast. i advize u use the directional pad not the analog.it is cool.

easy money
when on the mission that's called espresso 2 go
enter this cheat code R2 R2 L1 L1 UP DOWN LEFT RIGHT UP DOWN LEFT RIGHT and you will get 100,000,000 and all your mission's will be completed for you

Hands Shoot Fire
First put in the change outfit code [right,down,left,up,L1,L2,up,left,down,righ until you have the flamthrower on the weapons screen. Then push circle and your hands will shoot fire.To undo just change your weapon.

P.S.this code works all the weapons but you have to do change outfit code every time you want to change your weapon or it will stop working.

Clean Getaway:
Go to the ship docks then walk on the outside of the fence. The character will fall through the floor (same life and mission, no people chasing). This is a clean getaway!

Put out fire:
When some one throws a molotov coctail and it hits you'r car speed up really fast (floor it), eventually the fire will go out! (only works with light colored fire)

Orange uniform:
If you start a new game, load one of your other saves while you still have the orange uniform on and you will have it throughout the rest of the game.

Easy police bribes
On vigilate missions use the blow up all cars cheat (L2,R2,L1,R1,L2,R2,TRIANGLE,SQUARE,CIRCLE,
TRIANGLE,L2,L1) to eliminate enemy theats. Use your garage to protect the police car that you are using and make sure that you are not in a car when you use the cheat.

Mission Skip
On the mission where you have to take 8-ball to the red light district, press R2, R1, L1, L2, up, down,left,right,L3,R3, L2. Then blow up the car with you and 8-ball inside. On all your upcoming lives if you press select you will skip to the next mission even if it is for another boss. As an extra this cheat will also complete the mission for you.

Blow up Tanks:
Tanks are explodable, throw enough Molotov Cocktails at them and they will blow up.

Ride on Cars:
Stop a car by standing in front of it. Then jump on the roof of the car. It will start moving with you on it. *Note* You will have to move a little to fix your position on the car.

Things to do:
On Stanton Island were you have to destroy Madmans van, there is a secret message behind the wall... read it, it is funny. On Portland, where Tony is, there is an ally that has a van that says Toys in the Hood... get in it and it will give you a rampage thing called Moafia Massacre and you can drive a little RC car and blow up all the maffia.

hideout.

These items are always available at your safe house, and regenerate. The

Infinite run:
To continue to run at a fast pace without fatigue, just tap X instead of holding
it down. This helps when trying to give your character "exercise" so that he
can run for longer periods of time as well.

Make all cars in parking garage disappear:
Note: you need to enter the better steering cheat (R1, L1, R2, L1, Left, R1, R1, Triangle) Go to the parking garage near the hideout on Stanton Island and go to the top. There is a car blocking the ramp for the unique jump. Take it and back it up and jump it (by pressing L3 button) over the edge. All the cars in the garage should disappear including the one you drove up into the garage. Note: it doesn't matter what car is in the place.

Never get tired while running:
If you TAP "X" instead of holding it you'll never run out of breathe.

Taxi Glitch:
This takes getting the timing exactly right. When you are on a taxi mission, if you pick up a passenger as your time is reaching zero, they have to be opening the door and getting in as it hits zero, your timer will disappear and you will be able to do infinite taxi missions, or until you wreck your car. But you can enter the health cheat to avoid that.

Banshee:
Go to the bus behind 8-ball's shop, there you will see a bulding that has a sign that has auto on it. Go to a black panel and brake, inside it will be a fast car.

Get cars anytime you want
First go to the Garage in cochrane dam on the 3rd island were you have to deliver the certain cars to the garage, once you have deliverd them all then go inside the garage and there will be a token with a car name on it grab the token and the car will appear outside.

Stop Timer
Stop Timer, will make any rampage or mission timeless

Cops never chase you
While playing press circle up up square triangle square circle up right left up down and now the cops will not chase you no matter what you do!!

No Cars
In order To get rid of every single car in sight (exept parked cars) enable the 'Get Tank Cheat'
15 times. If you do not no the 'Get Tank Cheat'
here it is. Press Circle six times, R1, L2, L1, Triangle, Circle, Triangle.
CAUTION: It might mess up when you save it!
So when you have had enouph, go up to the pile of tanks and do the 'Blow Up All Cars Cheat' which is L2, R2, L1, R1, L2, R2, Triangle, Square, Circle, Triangle, L2, L1.

HINTS:

Destroy A Lot of Helicopters Easily
Defeat all of Luigi's missions. Then type in the code for all weapons which is R2, R2, L1, R2, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up at least 4 times. Then go to the place where Luigi's missions were. Then go up the ladder to the roof, continue along to the next roof which is below you (you might loose a little bit of health from falling of). Then jump on the green roof. Then take out any gun that can close up by holding R1 except for the Rocket Launcher and start killing a lot of people and cars until you have 3 stars. There is a small roof under the green roof. Fall on it. You will loose a little health. Then take out your Rocket Launcher and start shooting all helicopters. There will also be some police cars under shoot them if you'd like. If you ever run out of ammunition type in the all weapons cheat again.

blow up people who take your car.
There are some streets on the island who have people that run up to your car throw you out and take off but you can blow them up when they take off. First take any car(but you can't take copcars,buses,trucks,taxes,stuff like that)go to 8balls and take the car in the garage and go somewhere there alot of people and start the bomb and get out of the car run somewhere and turn around and watch as someone take off and blow up note: it may take awhile so have fun ok.

flying car mode
To get a flying car press right,R2,circle,R1,L2,down,L1,R1 while playing.(press up to fly and hold it down until you get enough speed for you car to lift up)
(this code will not give you another car,it will make any car you get in fly)
p.s.(if you have a slower car such as a taxi you have to gain speed to fly) do not enter the code more than once even if you die(the code will disable itself on the second time entered, so only reenter if you turn the playstation 2 off

free repaires and paintjobs
to get your car in perfect condition go to any pay and spray shop put the health code in (R2 R2 L1 R1 left down right up left down right up)(so you don't have smoke coming out of the hood and don't have to pay) then drive in the garage when the garage reopens a message will appear whick sais "hope you like the new color" and your car will be in perfect condition you can repeat this 'till you have the desired paintjob NOTE: this trick will not work if you have a wanted level! So put the code in! (R2 R2 L1 R2 up down up down up down) Good Luck1

Get All Hidden Packages
Go to your base at Staunton Island get a taxi then press circle circle triangle triange triange circle left left right right up up down down R1 L1 R2 L2 R1 L1 R2 L2 up up down left circle L2 up up. Then drive your taxi in2 the gararge and when u cum out there will be a hidden package get it and it will say you receive 100 hidden packages!!

Jail clothes
Take your memory card out in the before you put the disc in.when it finish loading it will start a new game.press start then load.when it is finish you will have your jail clothes on.

Garage Money
Put a car in your garage and blow it up.Go away and go back and the same car will be in your garage.Keep repeating this to get loads of money!!

Regain car health
When in a car, if it begins to start bellowing smoke or even catches fire, quickly type the health cheat which is R2,R2,L1,R1,Up,Down,left,right,up,down,left,right...then the car wont blow up! HAVE FUN!!!!

Racing Winning
To win a race you can do it the easy way or the hard way.

1,The Hard Way.

Make a firm blockade of tanks so that no cars can get through (this takes a long time 'cos there are always one or two gaps in). Then get in a tank that is not part of the blockade and drive up behind them and DESTROY THEM!!!

2, The Easy Way

Simply do 'BLOW UP ALL CARS' Cheat to destroy the other racers. Then drop a tank down to earth and finish the race in that.

Either way you can win very hard racing missions.

(P.S. If you do 1 then remember to do the 'BLOW UP ALL CARS' Cheat to blow up your blockade.)


Hints:

bullet proof bobcat
the bulletproof bobcat is one hell of a car. It is bullet proof explostionproof fireproof. But realy hard to get. You have to get a big car {Barracks ol or the flatbed}.Now do the mission" evidence dash". You see the bobcat carrying the evidence and ram it to flip it on its hood. You'u get a nodtification about this car being a decoy - it doesn't matter. This is the hard part you have to take whatever car you are driving and push the bobcat to your garage. Let it go offscreen for too long and its gone its easier to flip it near your garage.

4th island instant access
Those other people have been telling you lies about the 4th island. Ive done all the missions and all the vigilante missions, and ive got all the hidden packages and completed the game 100%. You cant get to the 4th island (caster city) that way but i found the right way. 1st get a tank and put on the flying car cheat, go to Shoreside vale and then follow the road out side the hospital until you reach the entrance to the top of the dam. Then go back a bit from the entrance and start shooting while driving your tank. if you do this right youll go high enough to go through the mountins and over water. Then in front of you, you will see the edge of Caster city. mist will cover the rest of Caster city it will only disapear if you land on the road. So thats the real way to get to Caster city. good luck.

6 Cars in Staunton's Garage
I have managed to fit SIX cars into the garage on Staunton Island. It takes time to put them all in, and to take them out. First, I put a Infernus in there, and then another one. Then, I parked an other one in front of the garage, got out, pulled one out halfway in and halfway out of the garage, and quickly backed it into the garage. (Don't worry about the clicking sound, the garage dorr won't close.) Now, I've seen a lot of tricks that have only FOUR cars in the garage, but to fit SIX, you need compact cars and a certain pattern in the garage. I have had three Infernuses, a Banshee, Cheetah and a roof-less Stinger. You need to be able to fit the cars like so.......

To get the middle cars in the diagonal angle, park it right next to a car, get out of it and if the cars are really squeezed together, then it might be difficult, but it WILL work. Get in between the two cars next to each other, and keep walking into the car in the middle of the row. Walk into the hood. it should slowly, but surely, start turning. You can get the car to a "" turn, so now you could enter that car, and whichever car is closer to the door that you can get into. With this tip, you can PROBABLY fit EIGHT cars in there like...

while at the 2nd island,go to the complex with all the cars by the paint shop.get a esporanto and go to the top floor.enter perfect driving and press R3 and stay on the bilding.all the cars should dissapear.

When you are on the staunton island go by the bridge that leads to shoreside vale, wait for a car to come and get in the way of it,then jump on it and let it take you to shoreside vale

Tunnel under portland
coming up onto the hill where you took the guys car and had it bombed if you go very carefully of the side of the cliff with almost no speed you car will stay on the beach below. folow the mountain side all teh way around the island untill you find flatbed train cars follow their tracks through a tunnell and midway thorugh there are hobos gathered around a secret package take the packagge brutally murder the hobos with no wittnesses or reprecussions. (you can also enter the tunnel the opposite way through the back of the supper mart)

Get to Staunton Island Early
First activate the better driving code, the one where you can jump, then get a fast car and get to the broken bridge. In the corner where you cant go in, there is an opening and just drive through. (First get a fast Car) then build up speed and go all the way to then end where the bridge is broken and press L3 to jump and you should land on the other side. HAVE FUN

Steal Cars w/ alarms without Being Detected:
If you want to hack a car that has an alarm get in the car, and as soon as the alarm goes on, get out of the car and wait until it turns off then go back and steal it. (It also works if you bump the car with another one)

Advance to Staunton Island:
To advance from Portland to Staunton Island prematurely, go to the subway. The subway should be closed off at he bottom of the stairs. Take a car down the stairs and either crash it or park it so the door is right next to the subway door. When you open the door to get out you will step out and through the closed off gate. Then go down to to subway and get on the train. It will take you to Staunton Island. It is tricky to get your car to land near the gate but it is possible.

Get into the Prison on Level 2:
On level 2 Chose a really fast car (Farriar gt) (Cop Car) and drive as fast as possible down towards the bridge that leads to the prison, jump off the bridge at you top speed and veer towards the left, once your on top off the wall jump out of your car real quick before it falls into the river. Follow the wall around to the left, you will see stairs leading down into the prison. (This will definitely take a few try's ).

Get free shot gun:
Go to ammo-nation store and after you buy a gun walk up to the clerk and try to point the gun at him the best you can because you can target him, kill him, he shoots back so do it fast and after you kill him walk up to the counter and you will get his shotgun.

Secret Car:
In the first part of the game in Portland you can get one of the best cars, the Banshee, -here's how. Go to 8 Ball's auto yard. Right next door is an auto dealership. In side you will see a blue sports car that looks like a dodge viper, that's it, Bullets don't work on the glass so don't bother. Steal any of the cars in the parking lot and drive it into the glass, the glass will break and then just jump in the banshee and it is now at your disposal. Note: There is a secret pack near the car.

Easy Cash:
To get more cash just hit other cars with your car or mess up your car so bad that it explodes then you get extra cash.

My Whoopty:
If you have a nice car that is really beat up, just put it back into your garage, when you reopen the garage door the car will be in perfect condition.

The Hooker Cheat:
This works with hookers to get your health up. Drive up to a hooker the passenger side of the car and park next to her. She will bend over and talk to you. Stay there for a while and she will get in. Then take her to a alley or a hidden place. The car will begin to shake (wonder why) and your health will go up. You will lose 1 dollar per health point. After a while she'll get out repeat the process until you have full health. This only works when cops aren't chasing you and it doesn't work when driving cop cars, semi-trucks, buses, taxis or fire trucks. So just use a normal car.

Hooker Cheat Pt2:
For some real fun after she gets out get out to and kick her ass until she's dead. She drops all her money that she took from you. Hahahahahaha free money, fun and most of all free health when you do this.

Free Repairs:
To repair your car for free, go to your hideout and put your car in the garage. Leave the garage so the door closes. Enter the garage again and your car will be as good as new. Note: This does not get rid of the cops. It only fixes the damage.

Easier Bosses
An easy way to take out bosses is instead of fighting them get a good car before the fight like a Hum-V or a pickup truck and just RAM them. Then they get out after there car is screwed up and just run him over. Much easier then taking him on in shooting wars.

Drive By Shootings
To do a drive by shooting hold R2 + Circle also L2 + Circle with R2 he will shoot right and L2 left. He will stick out his hand threw the window and shoot. This only works with the UZI though. Good way to take out bosses to pull up next to them and shoot the hell out of them

Be Careful
When you kill people on the street they drop money. Try and kill Hookers and the old guys because they drop the most money. Don't attack gangsters there fellow gangsters will attack you to. This includes stealing the gangsters cars.

Flamethrower Location
In Portland go to Hepburn Heights. Right next to the projects is a train platform. Jump on it and go to your left. Keep going until you reach the building that is really close to the track. You should see the flamethrower on the roof top. Jump over and get it and now you have a flamethrower.

Faster Taxis
To have faster taxis you must have 100 fares in cab game-mode. The taxis are at Borgnine in Harwood/Portland.

Police Bribe
To get the police bribe you must have 45 kills in the vigilante game mode. The bribe is in your hideout.

Banshee
In Portland, go to the Capital Autos shop. Take a big car and ram it into the glass on the store to break it. Inside a Banshee, which is the fastest car in the game and resembles a Shelby.


BP Barracks OL truck
Ride the road by the water at Staunton Island. You will find a storage place with a lot of boxes. Go to the gate marked "Keep Out". Enable the "Better driving skills" code, then drive in reverse and press L3 to jump over the gate. Get out to find a Barracks OL truck. It looks like a farm vehicle.
The BP Barracks OL can also be obtained during the Arms Shortage mission.


BP Patriot: Bulletproof
To get the bulletproof Patriot (Hummer), complete the Marked Man mission for Roy (the cop) the second time that you meet him.


BF Injector
Complete the Mafia missions in story mode to unlock the BF Injector buggy. Return to Portland and go to the Diablo parking lot (where the mission phone is located) between 19:00 to 24:00 to find the same buggy glimpsed in Joey's garage from the Mafia mission. It will appear in the same location and change color each time.
If you want to pick the color of the BF Injector, park a car with the desired color near the entrance of the building at the parking lot. The car does not appear to be scratched, other than the windshield when it hits something. It also never stays upside down.

Borgnine Taxi
The Borgnine is a well built car or taxi. It is a brick red cabbie with spikes with blood on the bumpers. It is located in Harwood. Go to the head radio station. It usually is at the engine store next to the radio station after the game has been completed.

Borgnine Taxi
Look closely on the back bumper of the Borgnine taxi with a sniper rifle. Sometimes it has about seven spikes with blood on them.

The Great 3 Glitches
I have discovered the great 3 glitches. One makes you lose 5 points of life, one gets you to SHORESIDE VALE and the last one is just plain fun.

You must be in PORTLAND for this one. Go to PORTLAND DOCKS. There is a entrance leading onto the road. DO NOT ENTER. On the right there is a chickenwire fence. If you run so that you are scraping against the fence but still going right you will find it. You will fall into 'BLUE HELL' waving your arms. About 5 seconds later you will see yourself getting up from the pavement with 5 points of your life gone.

P.S. THIS CHEAT DOES WORK!!!!!!!!!!

You will need to have 'GOOD DRIVING SKILLS' cheat on for this. You need to be in STAUTON for this. Get a kuruma( a smooth looking car) and drive to the hostpital. In the car park there is a low roof. You can jump onto it using your car. If you go left there is a hidden package. Get it. Get back in your car and position it so that your car is straight and the wall is behind you. Reverse and wham into the wall. Keep reversing and you will slide through the wall and land in the tunnel.

P.S. Behind you the blue wall is there. Its fun watching the cars smashing into it.

You need to be in PORTLAND for this one. Drive to ATLANTIC QUAYS and go to where you drop Misty off at the party. On your right there are some garages. There furtherest one away has a door big enough to get a linerunner through. Walk/drive staight at the door. You will pass through like a ghost.

P.S. I parked my car in there which is funny because there is a sign on the door saying 'NO PARKING'.

	Magic Garage On Portland and Shoreside Vale there are magic garages. The Portland garage is by the ship where the cartel are selling spank. there is one garage there with a list of cars by it. if you take the cars on the list to the garage it will open. drive the cars in and walk out. there will be a message saying they will give you a bonus if you get all the listed cars into the garage. on shoreside vale the garage is near the hospital and the entrance to the top of the dam. it is hard to find but worth it. this one has easier cars to find. if you complete the list, the garage will open and all the cars you drove in will be there for you to take. (find the garage on shoreside vale first, it has better cars to put in. banshee, stinger, infernus, and cheetah.
	F.B.I. Car To get the F.B.I. car first activate the cheat to get the tank, when you get the tank start smashing cars and making felonies until you get the 5 stars, when the F.B.I. starts to appears, then drive around until you see the F.B.I. make a block with 3 cars, stop the tank and then activate the lower star cheat, get out of the tank and get an F.B.I. car, do the lower stars cheat again and head to the garage and save it.
	Flying Cars To fly any car that is fast enough (just about any car in the game), enter the Dodo cheat, Right, R2, Circle, R1, L2, Down, L1, R1 during gameplay. Use it to fly over the bridges, or shoot someone elses car. When they run away they lose control on turns and do rolls. Very funny. Enter the code again to take it off if your tired of wrecking your cars. Note: Fly your car like the dodo, if you press up to hard, your car falls.
