Hint - Polar Bear Smash
In the level where you are facing up against the polar bear, your only chance is a gun at the waterfall. The only problem is getting there alive. To trap the bear in the large hole with a log across it, first get on the log without falling in. Then get as close to the end of the log just out of the bears reach. With luck, he will fall in giving you time to go get your gun!
