Invincibility- Original Panzer Dragoon

It's been six years since the first Panzer Dragoon game made an appearance. Originally on the SEGA Saturn, the game gained immediate cult status. After three more games, Panzer Dragoon Zwei, the Japan-only release Panzer Dragoon Mini for Game Gear, and Panzer Dragoon Saga (an RPG named Azel: Panzer Dragoon RPG in Japan), the series seemed to be over... just a warm memory in the hearts and minds of hardcore gamers.

But now on the Xbox, the series makes its triumphant return with Panzer Dragoon Orta. Its unique and breathtaking visuals and addictive gameplay make it a worthy addition to this great, great series.

We'll help you conquer the game top to bottom. Inside this guide, you'll find tips on everything from defeating bosses to leveling up. We'll tell you which dragon works best in every situation, how to unlock everything in Pandora's Box and more.

Invincibility- Original Panzer Dragoon
Once you've unlocked the original Panzer Dragoon (found in the Appendix of Pandora's Box), go to the main screen of that game and press L, L, R, R, UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT.
Stage Select- Original Panzer Dragoon
Once you've unlocked the original Panzer Dragoon (found in the Appendix of Pandora's Box), go to the main screen of that game and press UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, X, Y, WHITE. This will unlock all six stages and the final stage.
Wizard Mode- Original Panzer Dragoon
Once you've unlocked the original Panzer Dragoon (found in the Appendix of Pandora's Box), go to the main screen of that game and press L, R, L, R, UP, DOWN, UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT in order to unlock Wizard Mode. This will allow you to play at twice the speed.
Unlock Stage Zero- Original Panzer Dragoon
Once you've unlocked the original Panzer Dragoon (found in the Appendix of Pandora's Box), go to the main screen of that game and press UP, UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, L, R. Stage Zero makes you shoot enemies to get health... as you are losing health throughout.
Unlock Original Panzer Dragoon Game
To unlock the original Panzer game (as seen on the Saturn), beat the game at any difficulty or play a total of five hours. The game will be available in the Appendix section of Pandora's Box.
Unlock Everything
Play the game for twenty hours to unlock everything in Pandora's Box.
Rolling Mode- Original Panzer Dragoon
To unlock Rolling Mode, go to the main menu and press: UP, RIGHT, DOWN, LEFT, UP, RIGHT, DOWN, LEFT, UP, RIGHT, DOWN, LEFT, UP RIGHT, DOWN, LEFT. This will allow you to do barrel rolls when pushing in a diagonal direction on the D-Pad.
Weapon Change- Original Panzer Dragoon
Once you unlock the original Panzer, launch the game at the Appendix section of Pandora's Box. To change the appearance of the rider's weapon, press UP, X, RIGHT, Y, DOWN, WHITE, LEFT, Y, UP, X.
Dragon-Only Mode- Original Panzer Dragoon
Once you unlock the original Panzer, launch the game at the Appendix section of Pandora's Box. Then, at the main menu, press these buttons to unlock Dragon-Only Mode: LEFT, LEFT, RIGHT, RIGHT, UP, DOWN, UP, DOWN, L, R. The weapon change cheat must be active for this to wokr.
See Hard Ending- Original Panzer Dragoon
Once you unlock the original Panzer, launch the game at the Appendix section of Pandora's Box. Then, at the main menu, press these buttons to see what you get when you beat Hard Mode of this old school game: UP, UP, DOWN, UP, RIGHT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, DOWN, DOWN, UP, DOWN, LEFT, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT.
See Hard Mode Congratulations- Original Panzer Dragoon
Once you unlock the original Panzer, launch the game at the Appendix section of Pandora's Box. Then press these buttons at the main menu to see the congratulations you get for beating Hard Mode: UP, UP, DOWN, UP, LEFT, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, DOWN, DOWN, UP, DOWN, RIGHT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT.

View Hard Ending, Original Panzer Dragoon:
First find the Original Panzer Dragoon in the Appendix of Pandora's Box. Then, at the main screen press Up, Up, Down, Up, Right, Right, Left, Right, Down, Down, Up, Down, Left, Left, Right, Left.

Rolling Mode, Original Panzer Dragoon:
First find the Original Panzer Dragoon in the Appendix of Pandora's Box. Then, at the main screen press Up, Right, Down, Left, Up, Right, Down, Left, Up, Right, Down, Left, Up, Right, Down, Left.

Dragon Only Mode, Original Panzer Dragoon:
First find the Original Panzer Dragoon in the Appendix of Pandora's Box. Then first do the weapon change cheat. Next, at the main screen press Left, Left, Right, Right, Up, Down, Up, Down, L, R.

Invincibility, Original Panzer Dragoon:
First find the Original Panzer Dragoon in the Appendix of Pandora's Box. Then, at the main screen press L, L, R, R, Up, Down, Left, Right.

Stage Select, Original Panzer Dragoon:
First find the Original Panzer Dragoon in the Appendix of Pandora's Box. Then, at the main screen press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, X, Y, White.

Wizard Mode, Original Panzer Dragoon:

Weapon Change, Original Panzer Dragoon:
First find the Original Panzer Dragoon in the Appendix of Pandora's Box. Then, at the main screen press Up, X, Right, Y, Down, White, Left, Y, Up, X.

Hard Mode Congratulations, Original Panzer Dragoon:
First find the Original Panzer Dragoon in the Appendix of Pandora's Box. Then, at the main screen press Up, Up, Down, Up, Left, Left, Right, Left, Down, Down, Up, Down, Right, Right, Left, Right.

Glide Wing Barrel Roll
When using the Glide Wing, double tap either left or right using the analog stick. Be sure to hold the last tap to the right or left to make the Glide Wing barrel roll.

Play as a White Dragonmare
Under Box Game, select any stage and settings, but pick "Dragonmare" next to Dragon. Hold down the White button and press Start to begin the level. The White button must be kept held down until the stage begins for this to work. When the stage begins, you will be playing as one of the white "embryo" dragonmares that you fought in the "Showdown" episode.

Codes for Original Panzer Dragoon

Unlock the original Panzer Dragoon found in the appendix of Pandora's Box then enter a code below

Get Stage Zero - Go to the title screen of Panzer Dragoon original and press UP, UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, L, R.  Now you MUST shoot enemies to get health back

Get Invincibility - Go to the title screen of Panzer Dragoon original and press L, L, R, R, UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT

Unlock Levels - Go to the title screen of Panzer Dragoon original and press UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, X, Y, WHITE

Get 2X Mode - Go to the title screen of Panzer Dragoon original and press L, R, L, R, UP, DOWN, UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT.  this allows you to play at 2X speed in wizard mode
